Re: Atlus Survey Asks Fans If They Would Like To See Persona 5 Scramble Localised

Did some of the people commenting here stop looking any further into this game as soon as they heard it had Warriors gameplay?

It's literally a full canonical sequel. With the time management and building relationships and everything. Literally the only difference is that it has real-time action gameplay instead of being turn based again.

We ABSOLUTELY want this game here.

@oatmaster If you pay $40 the tree in the middle of the plaza will grow so big that you'll get 2000 gem apples a day from then on (plus the 5000 you just paid $40 for) negating the need to buy any more.

Using those 7000+ gem apples you can purchase all the books that increase the rate of stamina recovery so you'll negate the need to wait as well. (Plus refilling stamina only costs 2 gem apples if you do happen to run out)

I downloaded the game through a friend's connected account and I gotta say, as someone who plays almost exclusively in handheld mode, this game looks absolutely terrible on the smaller screen. I'm not exaggerating when I say it's the worst looking game in handheld mode that I've personally seen to date. I'm not even that big on visuals usually but this is REALLY bad to the point where it kinda actually ruins the experience. Everything looks so compressed and muddled, like a YouTube video that hasn't fully loaded yet. It's very distracting and I'm glad I didn't preorder or I would be pretty upset right now.

As it is I'm simply disappointed.

Re: The World Ends With You: Final Remix Won't Support The Switch Pro Controller

TeeJay

So......does that mean it doesn't support being played in portable mode at all? Cause if so that is absolutely a deal breaker for me.

Just to be clear I've played the DS version and I understand why it wouldn't work on a traditional controller scheme. It has to do with the design of the game in a fundamental level. I'm disappointed it couldn't work but not disappointed in the dev team or anything. They did the best they could.

This seems like one of those games I'd rather sit out until the developers iron out the wrinkles. I'm interested and it looks fun, but the many niggling issues here and there add up to a big turn off.

@FTPinkRabbit Uh, what gave you the idea this was a mobile port, exactly? I can't speak for O.K.K.O as I don't follow the news for that (though google searching didn't reveal any previous mobile game by that name) but Save the Light is a sequel to the mobile game Attack the Light. I know because I played Attack the Light.

Re: Site News: We Want Your Help To Become Even Better

I'm gonna be honest the clickbait is what's been driving me away from the site for a while now. Articles that take something someone said completely out of context and such. Damian in particular has been especially guilty of this I find, to the point where I could call exactly which article was written by him before I even click. His role shift has me extremely worried unless he stops trying to spin everything into a negative light to raise controversy.

The second thing is that you guys seem to be constantly a few days behind on a lot of the news, save for perhaps the biggest events like E3 news and directs. I'll find out about something on YouTube or other news sites and then see NL report about it a few days later. It's baffling.

Those are my two main complaints.
