@liveswired I gave you so many specific points and reasons to how exactly this game is trash. I linked you to the playthrough I watched. I linked you to a breakdown of just how much of a mess the very first cutscene alone is. And still you think I'm just parroting what I've heard without any thoughts of my own?

At this point I don't know what more to tell you. It seems the only people who you will believe are not part of a hive mind are the people who agree with you.

@liveswired I'm not basing my opinion on anything except what I've witnessed with my own two eyes. You need to have your eyesight checked if you can't register the framerate dropping to sub 15fps during those high speed tracks.

And while I'm at it what was with Shadow, huh? He just popped in to fight Sonic for no good reason with no motivation, and is kicked into the near future iirc. Only to like...watch over them at the end of the game all satisfied like he was their trainer or something. Shadow's entire presence was redundant.

I get where you're coming from, but all those competitive options are, well, optional.

I'm not into competitive play anymore but even when I was, when playing through the main game of any pokemon game I always just pick whoever I want. Though I do like to make sure the nature isn't something that directly conflicts with the pokemon.

The games are easy enough so that you can pick basically whatever pokemon you want and take finish the fame with them if you wanted to, no matter how bad they are competitively, so there really is not reason whatsoever to get into that stuff when starting a new pokemon game.

@liveswired Heck no. I saw a complete playthrough and that was enough. The combat is boring and repetitive, the framerate is crap, the entire game glitches randomly for no reason, and the characters never shut up. Ever.

Also! There's no danger. Rings rain from the heavens but cap out at 100 for no reason, and you only lose a few when you get hurt which you get back near instantly.

Not to mention, everyone has been reduced to generic chracter stereotypes. You got the main character, the smart one, the dumb one, and the token girl. To be fair they were always like this but they're exaggerated to oblivion here.

Knuckles is a complete moron. His dialogue makes me want to rip my ears off more than everyone else already does, and that's saying something.

Your book needs some serious revising.

Are blandness and repetitive music the only things giving this a 5? Because if so I'd still get it. I loved Snake II on those old Nokia phones and they were far more bland than this.
