Huh. I had no idea there was such a controversy going on around this game. I got it and enjoyed it well enough. Granted I'm probably still less than halfway through it, but it seemed to perform fine to me. I'd give it a 7/10.

Re: Poll: What Are Your Nintendo Switch Pre-Order and Launch Day Plans?

TeeJay

I was going to say I'm only getting Breath of the Wild at launch, but I just learned from this article that The Binding of Isaac Afterbirth+ will also be at launch so I'll be sure to get that as well.

As for accessories, already ordered a USB-C cable, and I managed to secure a Pro Controller preorder so I'm good to go!

I'm still trying to decide what size Micro-SD card to get...but I have time. My wallet needs a couple paychecks to recover a bit before I jump on one.

Re: Review: Pokémon Sun and Moon (3DS)

@Ralizah It does run marginally better on the N3DS. On the old model, attacks in double battles take a second to start, and there is some lag (according to what I have heard; I have a N3DS). Meanwhile, the N3DS performs a bit better there.

@rjejr The only difference between pokemon title versions is the flagship legendary you catch in the story and like, 5 exclusive pokemon that you can get through trading online anyway.

Re: Video: Nintendo of America Maintains a Marketing Focus on Evergreen 3DS Titles

TeeJay

@Link41x ?????? What does it having come out 5 years have t do with it being evergreen? It's a (shorter than average) linear, one-and-done adventure. An evergreen title is a title that people play all the time. A game that gets updates and dlc occassionally. A game with an online community. 3D Land is none of those. I haven't touched 3D Land in years because I've already done everything there is to do in that game.
