The Perfect Dark remaster was so close to being completed.
Now they've thrown it in the trash, never to see the light of day again.

This is why people pirate games and emulate, because not only are video games becoming more expensive (and poorly made) but also from the lack of faith they have in these scummy companies because of examples like this. What a waste.

If Microsoft canned the Perfect Dark reboot (just give it to Nintendo!!), does this mean the new Fable game is also at risk?

If Elder Scrolls 6 is cancelled as well, it might drive a few of their fanatics over the edge and do something reckless.

Nintendo has been going on an anti-consumer warpath towards it's fans and community as of late, so I'm not surprised they'll do something like this in one of their main games.

I miss the good old days where Nintendo encouraged people to play their games, not force players to not have fun.

We knew this was going to happen and yet people still kept poking the bear with these Migs.

Of course it's ''Digital''. The only difference is that you're locked out of playing the game on your Switch without the Key, while the whole game has been downloaded to the console.

Purchasing the game digitally would remove of the hassle of key cards completely. This is definitely the death of physical media...

Must be some powerful copium for people to believe that owning a game key card is actually owning the game. Might as well just buy the digital version and not be burdened by carrying around a key card cartridge. Well, I guess ignorance is bliss.

It's no brainer here. Just buy the digital version because we, the consumer, have no choice. It's either that or to be a prisoner who cannot access their game without the key, even though you downloaded it digitally.

Nintendo, whatever happened?

Everyone used to love Nintendo products. Their consoles and games, as well as being family-friendly and budget friendly.

But now they don't feel like Nintendo. They now feel like some anti-consumer Mega Corp Conglomerate that hates its fans, sues the community, and demands more money than before.
Tbh, I'm sort of embarrassed to own anything with the Nintendo logo now.

What dirty mind thought up to include a "blow-up doll" of a video game character?? I don't think this is normal for society.

I've been stuck playing Minecraft Allthemods 10 lately and have been putting several hundreds into it, more than any recent game that has come out.
These newer games capped at $80+ just don't appease to me anymore.

I think I'll wait for the Wii U's version when the Switch 3 releases.

It's weird to think there's another pre-order hype for TOTK game, but now for the Switch 2. The game came out 2 years ago, so I assume most people bought the game when preorders were first announced.

While I'm speechless and excited for this.. I was not expecting this announcement. In truth I almost thought this was a Bloodbourne 2 sequel. Why FromSoftware??

For the price, this is a really good deal for the scalpers who will buy out much of the stock and sell it for twice the value.

I'm expecting I won't get one until 6 months later after launch.

30 fps is a downgrade for me, but to have a physical version of the game, plus making other character builds (I have the game on Steam), I'm willing to get this anyway.

It would appear Nintendo trying to future proof their system, such as requiring us to use micro sd express cards for the console, but they continue to keep one leg in the past by not upgrading to Hall Effect joysticks.

This throws me back to Blockbuster era of renting games and movies.

Modded Minecraft has been doing some really nice shaders for a while now. No Ray Tracing needed. I'm impressed that Mojang is finally working on their own.

This is the weirdest timeline..

The first time I ever played Pokemon Go was when it first came out with Gen 1. There used to be this unofficial website which showed Pokemon locations around the area (particularly the rare ones) to make it easier to find them.

But then Niantic took action and shut the site down, which was when I stopped playing and haven't touched the game since.

It was fun for a while, but paying real money for Pokeballs, which if thrown incorrected could miss and you'd have to pay for more? Pass.

If a Joycon is going to become some sort of computer mouse, I guarentee you we'll develop hand cramps over time.

@AstroTheGamosian I work in retail and every early morning when the store opens, this gray-haired guy dressed in camo comes in and immediately scours through the Hotwheels cars section and buys a lot of them to sell somewhere else.

This is the dumbest negative score I've seen. Anyone who is not familiar with yugioh or is just a noob, this is the best part of sorting through the cards and organizing your deck.

Just wait until the later iterations of the game with new mechanics. You'll be reading through those cards for hours on end.

I imagine a VAST majority of Switch 1 owners will be selling their consoles in favor of the Switch 2, since it's backwards compatible and more powerful. Also in this rough economic times, this seems to be a no-brainer.

Amazing how Nintendo is pushing out Switch 1 models when the Switch 2 is right around the corner.
