Nintendo is definitely going to win the hearts of the public by issuing out DMCA to a decades old sandbox game that can still run on my Windows 7 laptop.

We can't even use Nintendo's characters which we can simply port into the game of own will? What's next, banning GIFs?

This type of draconian activity will only leave a bad taste in people's mouths who are not familiar with the greatness of our lord and savior, Nintendo, and will only encourage people to continue pirating their stuff. Color me shocked.

Limited Run Games has gotten a little better (although still debatable) as they've started posting an estimated ship date.

The Pokemon company is really sending the message that they don't care about the fans or the community, only their IP, and it'll only hurt them more.

I for one enjoy Pokemon rom hacks, as I grew up in the GBA era, and some of them are even better than the main releases for the Switch.

Banning "community forums" isn't going to change my mind or respect them any more.

When Peter Jackson was making 'The Lord of the Rings' trilogy, there was similar opinion due to his previous film history (Heavenly Creatures, The Frighteners).
People assumed it would bomb, but it did not and happened to be one of the best films ever made.

Announcing a "Switch 2" early this year would hurt the Switch's future sales. I'm willing to bet $20 the next cosole will be announced in the Fall and will drop sometime December 2024. with chances it'll leak in the Summer.

In the meantime, Nintendo is going to milk the original Switch for all it's worth this year.

Shining Soul I & II and LOTR: Return of the King were my favorite Diablo-like games growing up, although I highly doubt they'll be added.

Just finished the survey, but I noticed something rather humorous.

There was no mention of any 'Pokemon Mystery Dungeon' when listing their games. Hmm..

The 'Game Awards' is a crappy replacement for E3 if it means cutting off game devs and directors from their speaking time during their awards.

Whoever hosts these types of shows don't care about game Devs or even the games itself, except only the advertising and money it makes them. The whole thing's a scam.

While Lego has featured weapons in the past, such as blasters, rifles, revolvers (etc), this is the first time I've seen them promote an actual shooter game.

Lego used to have a policy of no depiction of real life guns or military sets, except when they can silently monetize it.

If anything like the Mario movie, the Zelda film could be a mash-up of references to past games, memes, and Americanized humor.

Basically, there would be no plot, but I wouldn't be surprised if Ganondorf started singing to Zelda near the end.

I feel as though I should not be pressured into fomo and just accept that an era has ended, and be glad I was apart of it.

If I were to transferred my Pokemon from every previous Gen to Pokemon Home, I wouldn't be able to use most of them anyway, because the latest Pokemon games prohibit it (plus some moves have been deleted).

Those Pokemon would be stuck in the cloud with nowhere to go for an eternity and meanwhile I would be burning money for no point.

If the Pokemon Company were to hint that we could use nearly all the Pokemon in a future competitive game (not single player), then maybe I would spend a bit more and transfer, instead of having 'faith' in a mega corp that may or may not listen to its fanbase anymore.

Since it's likely the next gen console will backwards compatible with the Switch, and if the rumors are true, previous games will also run better through updates, making poor frame rates thing of the past.

This might explain why Nintendo still plans on releasing games that might not otherwise run well on the old Switch.

As I really want to get into these, I can't help but distant myself from Netflix, as they could cancel it after the first or second season, just like most other of their shows.

It's such a hard pain to invest into something, only to have it get discontinued later. I'll check back a couple of years.

Would rather have preorders to buy exclusive merch, instead of "first come, first serve" and the cretins buy out the whole stock.

I think I'll wait next year, when they'll re-re-release the physical version with the full DLC.

If Switch games will be backwards compatible with the next console, along with the rumor that TotK ran at 60 fps in the [Redacted] Dev kit, then I am still confident.
Who knows? Maybe all Switch games with poor performace issues will also acquire this upgrade once the new console drops.
