Perhaps Nintendo spent most of it's money on going after Switch emulators than attempting to stop the leaks.

Really though, it's as if Nintendo has their heads in the sand. There's solid evidence that their next big secret console is in the leaks and they're not doing anything about it or showing any signs of life on the matter. Ignoring the problem will not make it go away.

The reason why many people are not believing that this is real is because the "Switch 2" looks exactly like the original Switch.

But what if the successor will be in fact very similar to the original, in terms of appearance?
Will fans accept the truth or reject reality and substitute their own?

It is it's own thing, but better.

This was the first Pokemon game that has stopped me from acquiring it to my physical collection. Pokemon Arceus will be my last for the Switch.

This news alone will only encourage 'Game Freak' to release half baked games in the future, knowing it will sell no matter what.

It's interesting they've announced the game's release in March and yet no news or hint of the Switch 2.

The popular theory was that the Switch 2 was set to drop in March or Spring, but what if Nintendo will once again push the date to mid or even late 2025 to squeeze the last drop from the original Switch since their sales are still doing well-ish?

Because the Nintendo Switch is still in continuation, any "emulation" of it would be considered piracy. Just wait until the Switch's life time is over, then you can do what you want.

Emulation is for preservation of games and consoles that came out decades ago, not for something that is still available.
It doesn't matter if the console's hardware is easy to hack, it's still piracy. Nintendo is well within it's rights to shut Ryujinx down. Case closed.

In fact, Game Freak was inspired by Dragon Quest to make Pokemon!

It's like calling 'Fortnite' retro.

The word 'Retro' has lost all meaning in the gaming culture.
It was originally meant for something nostalgic that came out 20 or 30 years ago.
The Gamecube fits this title, but Shovel Knight does not.
In another 10 years he will finally earn that title.

I've never played the original Dragon Quest games even though I grew up during that era. Pokemon was just more fun for me and therefore any opinions I have are biased.

Recently I tried playing through the first three, but couldn't play for long because of the dated visuals.
These HD remakes makes the gameplay look much more bearable and engaging, I might try these games again.

It's so tempting, but I'll probably get this as a collectors item rather than play it.

I'm thinking Nintendo is not just protecting their IP anymore.
They're on a power trip and they know no one and nothing will stop them.

It's weird waiting years for an indie game to get a physical release, but it pays off when it actually happens.

It's unlikely but I'm still waiting for physical copies of 'Everhood' and 'Steve Jackson's Sorcery' which I hope will release sometime before the end of the Switch's lifetime.

Another tip: Don't buy Pokemon cards from people who used to be 'bank robbers'. I'm shocked I tell you, shocked!
