@garfreek Uh, I think the "losing all my stuff" is a great mechanic, actually. Imagine playing superficially in a game that demands skill. Instead, you're forced to stay focused all the time, at every corner. This gives you the opportunity to improve and generally makes for a better experience. A controller is needed, it requires great precision in combat.
@garfreek Have you tried it? Have you played Hollow Knight? I want more people to enjoy these games! But yeah, the challenge here is huge and the trip is far from relaxing, so I understand why you're not keen. Even if I'm sure you'd appreciate it somehow, who knows?
@garfreek It's okay if this game is not for you. If it doesn't click, why bother? Look, I'm a Zelda fan, but BotW is not for me, I dropped it two times already, not even the Switch 2 Edition solved anything. Silksong though, I'm loving it so much. I'm not even a souls guy, I like a good challenge in games sometimes, but I like Animal Crossing too. This game I simply find it glorious, HK is one of my favourite games ever and they delivered beyond my expectations with Silksong. Why is that? Maybe I tend to prefer games that demand skill, I don't really know for sure.
I'll definitely make some adjustments. Particularly with Nintendo first party games. I won't buy any Yoshi game with a non existent OST this time, Nintendo.
@Ooyah Uh, I don't think I'm able to decide if I want to keep playing or not lol. I plan to finish more regular runs with the other decks in order to unlock more.
@Ooyah thanks, that was really helpful. For example, only today I started thinking about difference between + and x when it comes to mult. And almost have never used the tarot which gives the x1,5 mult to a card. This can sinergy pretty well with planet cards, though. What a game.
Nintendo must definitely do something, this has been embarassing for a while already. What? Something. Do something to stop this *****. It's not that I work for Nintendo, neither my uncle does.
@LUIGITORNADO At least it will pass the DS in Japan pretty soon. It's around 32M right now (because there's a 1M gap between the number Nintendo released today and Famitsu), it could happen as soon as the end of the year.
@romanista How, though? If their forecast will be achieved, the Switch will have sold around 140 millions by the end of march, 2024. We know the successor is coming, but it's not that the Switch will stop selling all of a sudden. Now, to reach the PS2 is another story.
@Princess_Lilly Admittedly, I'm quite the pro player lol. I'm quick and very expert. Free nonogram games can be fun and I've tried many, but Jupiter's original Picross series is on another level of polish. To me, at least.
The ability to 'favourite' or mute publishers is another possibility. "Allow[ing] people to blacklist certain developers so they don’t show in the listings and search results would strike an instant blow at the scam game sellers."
"Additionally, load times are ludicrously long at the best of times, with our worst example of this lasting upwards of 20-30 minutes before we even got to the main menu."
@ThomasBW84 Will this scratch that Nintendo Pocket Football Club itch? I miss that one so much! Well, I suppose 2€ can't hurt and I'd probably better find out by myself.
"It's certainly not all doom and gloom in Kyoto right now."
No Playstation System has aver sold more than 20 millions units in a single FY. The Switch has just reported to have sold 23 millions in the last one and plans to sell another 21 in the current one.
@Olliemar28 Nice review. I was worried about performance, good to know it's OK. What can you say about the soundtrack? The music is very important to me. Thanks.
As an individual subscriber, I'm asked to pay an additional 25€ to renew my subscription ending September 2022. And I was going to do it, but didn't like the way Nintendo is like "buying my remaining subscription period and reselling me at a higher price"?
I'll take the AC DLC and go on. I'm not too interested in retrogaming anyway, the NSO has been a Tetris 99 pass for me, basically.

Well, that's not funny. I think it didn't happen to me beacuse I went to the left and somehow disarmed the trap?

@Ooyah Balatro Balatro... I haven't beaten any run yet, though. Have you got some tips for me? I insist in trying with the red deck (+1 discard).

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (October 7th)
Short of main series games, I've picked Picross S SEGA. Business as usual, the music slaps.

@Princess_Lilly because no one is as polished as the Picross series.

Gimme all those Picross right now, you cowards!

Oh yes, please.

@Ogbert Yep, I didn't like this auto-install feature I never turned on or agreed with. I browsed the system options but didn't find any.
