@BenAV I'm currently involved with Enter the Gungeon, 45 hrs here. CotN will stay on my Switch very soon. This rogue like genre, which I didn't know well not so long ago, is awesome.
I completed the main game in September, almost 100% with all apples and all time attacks but one (the last one...). This game is ridiculously good, I can't believe they are giving the DLC for free considering the game have a outrageous amount of content already. And for 8€ this is a steal. The soundtrack alone is worth the money, beautiful. I wish the devs all the better, Fabraz you are the n. 1
"There’s plenty of room for an experience such as Payday 2 to flex its muscles and benefit from the co-op-friendly ethos Switch has exuded so well thus far."
Oh really? With no option to write text messages to friends nor to invite them to a match, how it could anything benefit from disservice? And Bayonetta deserves to bomb hard, they can't be serious selling it full price while other companies give these ports the budget price treatment, even SotC is priced lower than a new game. And so DKTF, Nintendo must learn that its prices politics are nonsense, it's not Mario Kart every time. And now Payday 2, 20€ on PS4, 50€ on Switch...
Actually I don't have any issues with the controls, I die quite frequently but it's always my fault. It's strange to move only by jumping from wall to wall, though.
"To promote longer gameplay for individual software titles, we plan to implement even more downloadable content and events that build excitement for games".
Well this is what they're doing with Splatoon and ARMS, and it's free content. Then we have season passes for Zelda and Xenoblade 2 and I'm not a fan tbh.
Is the second DLC coming to Switch, too? Oh Slime-san, the game that keeps on giving. I've spent 35 hours already with this masterpiece which has no right to be that awesome. To think more free content is around the corner I'm more than impressed. Fabraz I admire you.
@NinNin Not a big point. On Nintendo platform almost no game has cross-buy. Nintendo will happily sell us Super Mario Bros for the fourth time soon. Once I got Vagrant Story for the PSP, then I had it on the PS3, then on the Vita at no extra cost. I speak as a Nintendo fanboy, in case you were wondering. They simply don't care giving the same services other company has offered for decades
@DM666 Well, it being a 2D platformer you must face the left joy-con buttons setup instead of a proper d-pad. I'm totally used to it, actually, I don't know if it could be an issue for you. About Super One More Jump I'm interested, but the lacklustre soundtrack could be a little too annoying. Slime-san, apart from being a masterpiece of its own, had a STELLAR soundtrack.
@BenAV I see... Well it's just I've got other games ready to play on Switch (Next Penelope, Oxenfree, to name a couple), no need to rush it's Xenoblade 2's fault, obviously. Good to know Celeste is so polished, anyway
Celeste is a bit on the expensive side. TBH though, I spent the exact amount for Steamworld Dig 2 and Thumper at least, so maybe some really favourable reviews could convince me. Meanwhile I'll give the Inversus DX demo a go.
A Switch version of ALBW makes a lot of sense to me, I can see it happening. We must expect some Zelda stuff like this for the Switch, while waiting 3-4 years for another big one
@Damo I appreciate that you mentioned the lack of Switch support by Game Maker. It's a shame because everyone would like to play Undertale, Hyper Light Drifter and others on the Switch. I think Nintendo should care more about the topic and help to make it happen. I suggest a feature article on the matter
@jariw Everyone wants to be on the eShop in time for Christmas, this week thera are more than 20 releases on Switch! But my money is ready to go, if the game is not I don't pay for it, simple. Luckily enough, Enter the Gungeon and The Next Penelope are great games and I'm playing Xenoblade 2 too.
I'm glad they gave 2 extra free tables for a week, I was hyped for this release so I didn't miss them Sorry for everyone else who didn't get them in time... But! The 30 fps in handheld mode was so disappointing that I'm not buying any table until they fix it and make it run at 60 fps. Not that it is completely unplayable at 30, far from it, but I struggle nonetheless and don't feel satisfied. When they fix this, and bump up the resolution in docked mode (they admitted the game "looks terrible" on Switch, their words...), then my wallet will suffer a lot of pain, granted.
They bumped up the resolution with the last update, in portable mode at least, at the cost of completely absent shadows and more aliasing (maybe). But now I find it's perfectly fine, the image quality is better
Judging from the screens it doesn't seem to me like the Switch can't handle this. It's more a case of "Let's be on the eShop for Christmas at all costs!", which is happening with other games too.
I can't believe it, so much I'm in tears now. I wish you the best for your new job, I'll miss you a lot but, hey, nothing lasts forever. I think that, despite being videogames related articles, you are the main responsible for my improvements in reading and writing in English (I'm from Italy...), so thank you so much for that, too. You've been like a friend to me, one of those you happen to call every day, you know, taking my time to read your articles every day for years. Thank you and good luck
The fact is, they wanted to be on the eShop before Christmas, let's be honest here. But if your game is not finished I don't pay for it, simple as it sounds
My main concern is the performance in handheld where it runs at 30 fps, which is a shame tbh. When they address this I'll buy some tables, not before. Honestly on the TV I have nothing to say but if they admit it looks terrible maybe it's not ideal at least.
Hopefully with The End is Nigh having a retail version but being 15€ on the eShop, this will receive the same treatment, unlike Cave Story and Tiny Barbarian DX which are 30€. I really hope you know what you're doing, Nicalis

Re: CyberConnect2 Announces 'Trilogy of Vengeance' Titles For Nintendo Switch

Re: Nintendo Download: 1st February (Europe)
Dandara is 14,99€ actually.
And it's at 20% off until feb 5th, so it's 12€, not 20.
I'll pick The Count Lucanor too, which is 50% off (7,50€)

@JimmySpades No, but when you buy a PS4 game on the PS Store which has a Vita version, you get both versions for the cost of one.
