Played some Rogue Company yesterday. Not bad. Matchmaking & loading screens are still kind of long. Don’t think its worth $30 right now but since I got 6 invite codes for free I picked it up. I did enjoy the gameplay itself. Played a few different modes with my son. He really seemed to enjoy it. Don’t know if its doing enough yet to break into the rotation of Apex/Fortnite most kids seem to be on.

CoH DLC looked well worth it. Im sure ill give RC a try since it’s free to play. Like the idea of AI opponents and not all just PvP. WWE Battlegrounds looks really fun. That’s definitely something I could see enjoying with my kids. Any 4-player game usually draws our interest quickly.

Looks cute & fun. Maybe i’ll pick it up eventually

Please give us a new version of Mario Sports All-Stars on Switch and not some mobile game 🙏🏼

Some of these feel very questionable to be in the RPG category

Anytime something doesn't support wireless co-op I’m annoyed. It’s one of the best featureson Switch. I’m still interested in this game but less than I was before.

NGL, I way more interested in this than any WWE 2K game. At least this might be fun AND run well on Switch.

@Snatcher Well its coming to California & Florida too, with the FL version set to be the biggest. So we’ll get our chance. Although i think we have yo wait until like 2023.

I haven’t purchased any amiibo but that might change. Im really digging that Hero one.

This was cleary TPC/Gamefreak’s own doing. Had they simply included this announcement in the original presentation instead of this “big announcement” nonsense, it would have been a non-issue.

Side note: If you are known for making console games, it’s probably best to never hype up a mobile phone release.

Im going to pick this up. No cost to try it out. If its good, ill pick up the single player campaign while it’a $5

So is owning the expansion a requirement or just moving a pokemon from SwSh to Home now that 1m Max Raids have happened?

Its cool & i’ll give it a go since its free-to-start BUT this should have just be revealed in the last presentation...

If the mini controllers were wireless, i would have picked a couple up but it seems only the “pro” model is. Too bad. I’ve got 5 pro controllers already but would have loved something smaller to take with me.

I think the Lets Go! Johto remakes make sense. That means you have SwSh DLC in Nov for the “hardcore” fans plus the new remakes for “everyone”. Im sure Nintendo would be happy with that during the holidays.

Now for what I hope it could be:

An announcement that past Pokémon games (gameboy/DS/3DS) are being released on the eShop with Home compatibility

Or

Detective Pikachu Switch (new game, not port) releasing this year.

So no Madden...exactly like i’ve neen saying...

@rockodoodle yeah, Madden may eventually come but i don’t expect it as part of the 12 games (or whatever) EA said were coming to Switch this year.

We got Fifa because they just ported over 360/PS3 version of the game with some updates. There isn't the option to do that with Madden right now and i don’t see them building a specific version from scratch for Switch.

As a huge football fan, Madden would be my top choice but I feel it’s very unlikely. Dragon Age & Mass Effect would be right at home on Switch tho. Also...some freaking Star Wars games!

Pokemon Sword, Luigi’s Mansion 3, Fortnite & BotW. Jumped back in BotW and got hooked again, lol.

Very nice. While im not a huge FPS or battle royale player myself, its great to see one of the biggest games out be on Nintendo’s platform.

I downloaded it yesterday after the presentation. My daughter used it last night for the first time. I honestly forgot about it already but she reminded me this morning when i told her to brush her teeth. Seems like it may do its job.

I’m luke-warm on another Let’s Go game. It was just ok. Not being able to fight wild Pokémon was really a drag for me. Found the game had zero replay-ability and not much of a reason to stick around after the Elite Four. I was starving for Pokémon on Switch at the time, so it made it easier to swallow but I don’t think I’d drop $60 for a follow-up. Make it $39.99 and maybe I’d play through it once before trading it in. NO IDEA how anyone could seriously say it was better than Sword & Shield. When I see statements like that I think: either this person didn’t play the game or they are just speaking out of spite.

I think my daughter might be down for this. She like rhythm games & endless runners and this seems like a combo of both. I’m sure all the characters will appeal to her too. As for me, like most here, I’m disappointed this announcement is for KH3 port.

Tried to log in about 45 minutes before the event. Couldn’t get in. Wasn’t a big issue. We just watched a live stream. This was maybe the 3rd or 4th Fortnite event I’ve watched. Probably the worst one.

This will be day one purchase for me and my kids. Very excited for this. Own the main game & DLC on PS4 already but this game will get played so much more once it’s on my Switch.

@Sans_Undertale Yeah, we gotta wait longer because instead of just an add-on, it’s going to be part of a whole new theme park Universal is building in Orlando called Epic Universe.

I’m down for this. Looks like something I’d enjoy. Hopefully it pulls from some of the better features of the AC franchise while adding something new.

PS: I’m also down for Genshin Impact aka “The chinese game that doesn't really look that much like BotW”

Looks like this could be fun, maybe? As an 80s kid I’m always down for more Transformers stuff. Going to have to keep my eye on this. Not enough here to get a sense of what the gameplay will be like or even genre this will be.

And I agree with everyone above: really wish Devastation could be ported to Switch (although I know it ain’t happening)

If you hate SwSh that’s ok. If you think the Expansion is just some money grab, that’s ok. We are all entitled to our own opinions.

That being said, I’m so HYPED for this expansion. I cannot wait to jump in an explore this new area, meet these new characters and capture some new/more Pokémon. Me and my kids have been powering up our Pokémon in Max Raid battles together & trying to finish our Pokédex before the 17th. I’m digging the legendary Pokémon from Isle of Armor. Just gotta figure out which evolution I want to pick. Looking forward to many hours of more fun with this expansion.

I wanted to go to Tokyo for the Olympics but don’t think we’ll be traveling overseas now. Would have been amazing to squeeze in a trip to Super Nintendo World at the same time.

Luckily I live in FL, so I’ll eventually get to the one in Orlando.

Ugh...1 game per color would have truly been dumb, at least at the $50 price point. $20 and I MIGHT have been ok with it.
