I’ll definitely pick this up eventually but I have a backlog of Switch games I still need to get to plus a few other Switch releases thst are higher on my list. Add to that, I just got Spider-Man: MM, Avengers, & GoT for my PS4 - Doom just gets pushed further down my list. I guess it’s a nice problem ti have.

Nice! Still need to get DQB2. It does go on sale pretty often, so this price cut should just further reduce the sales price.

If for sone reason you don't have DQXIS, no excuse not to get it now. Definitely one of my favorite games on Switch. Absolutely amazing RPG with a ridiculous amount of content.

Playing Pokemon Sword & probably some Fortnite Season 5. I need to get into Ki No Kuni or XBC2. Both have been sitting in my backlog. Probably try go finish another floor in Luigi’s mansion too.

I have never played any game from this series so I’m looking forward to Strikers. I really need to pick up Persona 5 for my PS4 as well.

My daughter just said yesterday “I wish Among Us was on Switch”. Hopefully they can bring it other platforms before all it’s steam runs out.

People are hilarious. Talk about “first world problems”. The icon seems fine to me. This is even more petty than the Snake Pass menu icon fiasco. The amount of energy people are wasting on this is baffling.

@AndyC_MK84 I’m sure I could find similar items to what I lost (Marvel comics & cards, Nintendo Power magazines, garbage pail kids cards, ninja turtle toys, etc) but between my 4 kids & myself I spend too much already keeping up with our new hobbies, lol. I pretty much use old movies, shows & apps (like the NES & SNES apps) to share with them experiences from when I was a kid. I found my old GameBoy Micro recently so it’s been fun watching my kids play Pokemon Green on it.

@AndyC_MK84 absolutely. I’m honestly more bummed about not being able to share the stuff with my kids than I am any financial loss.

I suffered a similar fate many years ago. My parents had all my comics & marvel cards stored in their attic for years. When I moved back to my home town 6 years after leaving, they told me all my stuff had been tossed. I cringe when thinking how much some of those early 80s & 90s comics & cards might be worth now.

This game checks enough boxes & has good enough reviews for me to bite. Been interested since it was first shown. Always figured as long as it was at least solid, I wS going to get it.

I will definitely be picking up a PS5 to compliment my Switch in 2021. Don’t really care about fighting to get one this year. I’ll probably pick one up in February or July as a gift for one of my kids birthdays.

IDGAF what anyone says, I LOVED the Wii U. That console got me back into gaming after a few year hiatus and it was also my kids’ first console.

Wow, I’m pretty surprised by these numbers. I am an OG 151er, so Pokemon holds a very special place in my gaming history. That being said, I also recognize flaws & issues w/ the series. I did not enjoy Sun, Ultra Sun or Let’s Go Pikachu very much but felt like Sword did a great job in satisfying my Pokemon appetite. Was it perfect? No way. Was it the best Pokemon release in years? (imo) Yes!

I’m still playing Crown Tundra and have sunk “250 hours or more” into Sword.

If Sword & Shield are an indication of where the series is moving in the future, I am happy to go along for the ride.

Much prefer the DLC approach to the “Ultra” approach. I don’t need to replay what is largely the same game just to get to the few new bits. I’ve dumped a ton of hours into Pokemon Sword since it’s release & I’m currently playing The Crown Tundra.

Darn...guess I won’t be accessing this feature for a while. I’m at level 22 and don’t ever do raids or gym battles. Not even sure if there is another way to reach level 33. I guess the good news (for me) is I don’t have any desirable Pokemon in Go that I don’t already have in Sword/Let’s Go. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Is it cross-play just between console generations (PS4 vs PS5) or cross-play between console makers (PS vs XB)? If it’s just the former, than it’s obvious why Switch would be left out.

Guess I’ll have to keep waiting or just buy it off eBay...

Already got my PS5 pre-ordered, although it won’t arrive until late November & won’t get opened until Dec 25th. Between that & my Switch I’ll be fully satisfied. Switch will likely be most most played console though.

I’ve never played any of the NMH games but have heard nothing but great things. Im going to need to jump on the first two games now that they are on Switch.

I do think the Switch will overtake the Wii largely because of it’s hybrid nature. Normally, I’d buy a single NES/WII/Whatever for the household but since this doubles as a portable I’ve bought 4 Switch consoles (3 regular, 1Lite) for my family. I know many others who have multiple Switch units in their home as well.

Side note: my daughter turns 7 tomorrow & I’ll be giving her the Switch Lite I mentioned above. She really started to enjoy gaming more this year & it will be so cool to give her her first console. I picked up the grey Switch Lite, case, screen protector, Pokemon Shield, MK8D, SSBU, & Minecraft to get her started.

Awesome! Dragon Quest is one of my favorite video games series, regardless of genre. XI was amazing on Switch so just thinking about what’s next gets me very excited.

Jeez, between this & Zoids I am super disappointed. I didn’t expect either game to be good but hoped at least they wouldn’t be terrible. When son was interested in both of these games but with these types of reviews its hard to think of wasting a single dollar on them.

There’s a few I’m really sad didn’t make the cut (Greninja was a big one!) but it didn’t hurt the overall experience for me. Really enjoyed SwSh & I had fun with IoA too. Actually set my Switch down a few minutes ago after finally getting into the CT expansion. Looking forward to what the mainline Pokemon series brings us next.

So when is the next AC update coming that will allow me to add a stadium to my town?

This sounds like a nice upgrade. Hopefully the battery/power savings can be used to power a stronger processor. I’d love the Switch Pro (Switch 2, Switch successor) to be able to handle games as well as a base PS4 or Xbox One. The extra contrast & brightness would be great for when playing outside or in the car, when the bright sun is shining. The Switch is very poor in those conditions now.

PowerA makes some nice stuff but those 3 controllers are hideous 🤢🤮

Pokemon (of some soft) with 40% of the vote! Nice. I know I’ll be playing it all weekend long (when I’m not watching football).

I’m not a huge fan of FPS or battle royale games Apex is one of the biggest games put so of course it is great to know Switch will have it.

We have 3 Switch units in my house (soon to be 4, but the newest addition will be a Switch Lite).

I play about 90% handheld, 10% docked
My 10 yr old son plays about 50/50
My 8 yr old son plays about 60/40 in handheld

@Dirty0814 “perfectly fine” for YOU. Many of us feels it’s to expensive. Even if DualSense5 is only $10 cheaper (it packs gyro too) it’s still cheaper & is a brand new product, not 4 years old. Plus I’ve never had drift issues with PS or Xbox 1st party controllers the way I have with all 3 sets of $80

I LOVE Nintendo, Switch & the joy-cons BUT they either need to be reduced in price or be fixed of all drift issues. That’s my personal opinion. Feel free to agree or not.

I’m so hyped to go explore the new area & catch some new (and legendary) Pokémon. My daughter’s 7th birthday is on 11/6 and I picked her up a Switch Lite & Pokémon Shield (plus Expansion pack) as a gift. Can’t wait to team up with her & my two son’s for some awesome 4-player Legendary Max Raids. Let the good times roll.

Been enjoying IoA and looking forward to Crown Tundra. Ready to take some so max raid battles with my kids to catch some of the legendaries.

Haven’t gotta around to playing Witcher 3 on Switch (or any where else), really need to pick this game up...

What a great 4 years it been. As an older game with a job, wife, kids, etc I’ve slowly seen my gaming time & desire dwindle over the years but Switch really helped reignite my passion. I’ve dumped tons of hours into BotW, Pokemon, MK8D, Luigi’s Mansion, etc etc. The hybrid nature of the console made it so much easier for me to jump back in. We now have 3 Switch consoles & 1 Switch Lite & it’s been so fun gaming along with 3 of my kids.

Darn, thats a shame. I wasn’t expecting a masterpiece but figured I’d pick this up for my 8 yr old son if it was at least a 6/10 type-game since he seemed interested after seeing the trailer. Way have to wait for it to go on deep discount.

I am picking this up for my kids (and me, lol) as a Christmas present. Hopefully I’ll be able to find one easily around the holidays.

I’m beyond bummed this may never come to Orlando 😢. Just another reason a trip to Japan keeps moving higher & higher up on my bucket list.
