If you've been keeping an eye on our coverage of Super Nintendo World over the past few weeks, you'll have seen a number of aerial photographs, shots from the ground, and even a video of Yoshi in action, but this new find is the best of the lot.
Uploaded by Twitter user @29QuP2, the video spends more than a minute exploring the various areas you'll be able to visit at the park. You can see all sorts of wonderful stuff going on, including moving Coins, Green Shells and Piranha Plants, a look at Bowser's Castle, and a great overview of the entire area. Check it out:
Super Nintendo World was originally planned to open up to the public this summer in line with the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, but this has sadly been postponed thanks to the ongoing pandemic. At least the park's eventual grand opening is something we can look forward to as we trundle on through these difficult times.
So, what do you think? Do you hope to travel to Japan one day and visit the park? It all looks pretty magical to us.

Will wait until they build one in Slough, bit closer.
Looks good. Don't need to go there now, thanks for sharing!
to bad I live in the usa
I was all booked to fly to Japan with my whole family on July 13th, watch some Olympics and go to Super Nintendo World. Hotels all booked, the lot. Luckily the hotels refunded, flights not yet. Gutted doesn't cover it. Hopefully we'll make it next year.
It's sad to see so much work and effort into creating this beautiful thing that won't be fully enjoyed in the near future.
I love USJ and was really looking forward to visit the Super Nintendo World park next year, but it's looking very unlikely.
@Snatcher Well its coming to California & Florida too, with the FL version set to be the biggest. So we’ll get our chance. Although i think we have yo wait until like 2023.
Kind of interested to know what you can actually do there. It looks awesome, but where are the rides etc. It looks like a lot of animatronics
About as big as my local Tesco
@Antray1984 They're in the show buildings. You enter through Bowser's castle to get to the Mario Kart attraction, and there's a pipe on the lower level that goes to Yoshi's Adventure
@Supadav03 I live in the united states sorry I did not mean to say usa.
It's starting to look really cool!
I'm probably never going to be able to afford to visit one of these parks though, so what I would really love is a VR version of something like this. Seriously, why isn't this a thing yet?
Super Nintendo VR World!
@CowCatcher I agree, unless there’s a lot not visible here or it’s just bad angles, it looks really small. The artistry is great, but seems like something you’d be done with in two hours
It looks beautifully built so far. I'd really like to see what those structures are like inside, what you can do in there
Bowser's Castle looks immense.
It looks incredible. Is the land just Mario themed, though, or are we missing something else in the video?
Looks a bit bigger than Diagon Alley, so size is just fine.
If I go there I’m going to get myself a bag of Mario‘s special mushrooms and it‘ll feel like I‘m actually in the game.
Looking good!
Was this guy up in a tree or something to catch this?
@Snatcher dont worry Universal Park will make Super Nintendo World in Orlando and Hollywood ounce the Super Nintendo World of Japan opens.
@Giancarlothomaz I don't live no were close to those places.
There is an orange guy next to the pyramid. Who is that?
@Supadav03 I fear COVID will push that out five years... 😥
It looks amazing! Hoping to have another Japan trip the year after the Olympics, so hopefully 2022 or therabouts. Hopefully this will still be going strong by then!
@Muddy_4_Ever You’re probably right. I live in Florida and its a mess. I know California is the same way.
@Snatcher currently, not much United about your States or our Kingdom!
Damn those spinning coins are just begging to be collected.
@Dancampulung
Orange Baby Yoshi.
Look so “real”!!
Amazing!!
Holy cow, that looks amazing! I'd love a behind the scenes look at all the scenery and effects.
Nintendo could really make his own big theme park. Just with all their characters between Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Donkey Kong, they have enough material for awesome rides and costumed characters....
Ill love a Nintendo Disneyland...
I have such a strong urge to jump smash my head into those question mark blocks.
I will book a freaking flight just to see this gorgeous beauty in person.
@Snatcher
This may be my ignorant UK mind speaking, but isn't the United States and the USA the same thing?
@Giancarlothomaz yes I just said it because i did not mean to say usa I wanted to say united states even tho there the same thing.
@HeroponRiki You mean your fist?
@Snatcher i see i know that USA mean United States.
@Giancarlothomaz Thanks for the understanding.
