It's funny to me, as an American, that a certain subset of Americans complain about taxes, but wholly welcome these Tariffs. I actually completed the 8th grade, so I see the stupidity of this.

I'd like to see someone talk about the steamworld games, specifically Steamworld Quest. I have that one lined up to play, but haven't yet.

I didn't think it was going to be, but I'm glad to hear this. I like the occasional roguelike, but there are just too many.

Hoping we see some switch 2 versions for various games announced. Free upgrades, I’m hoping.

Dropped 400 hours into this game back on Xbox One. So good. Very cool it has a switch version now.

I learned today that Blow is a vile human thanks to this comment thread. Thanks to all, I didn't know that. My initial excitement for a Switch 2 version has turned into never buying anything from him again.

I actually have a lot of confidence that he will release HC and I am excited to see how it turns out. I like that he is working methodically with on it, I think this is good practice. Launch the game when it’s ready! I personally have a ton to play right now.

Last game I'll likely ever purchase from Ubisoft was Prince of Persia: Lost Crown. Such an excellent game. I don't know what Ubi is doing, but all the buzzwords they threw around have completely lost me as a customer. Then again, Ubi has always been what happens when suits run the creative side.

He's not wrong, but EA sort of seems to lead the charge in awful.

This is amazing news and I hope it's true. Funny enough, I started playing Skyrim for the first time and I'm (not surprisingly) hooked. This news about Fallout is timely as New Vegas is the only one I haven't played.

So glad I finally got a current gen version of this game. Played like a dream on Switch 2 and it was like playing on PS1 again.

Got this for Christmas and made that mistake myself. Fortunately I realize it without anyone noticing!

I'm thrilled the day has come. I've been waiting. That being said, I asked for the game as a Christmas gift. My wait continues...

It's the holiday season and I am told I am difficult to shop for. As badly as I want to launch this day one, I requested this as a Christmas gift. I hope my patience is rewarded!

Do we know if there's a switch 2 patch?

Indies have been the best games for a while now. I had this game on my radar, this might make me want to buy it day one.

A few observations I've made:

1) Sometimes I forget I am playing a game on my Switch 2 when I play on a TV. It's pretty cool. The games look and perform great.
2) When I can't sneak off to the game room, the portability adds a dimension. So I can game while not hiding away.

These above points are huge especially when you consider how well these games perform vs the original switch. Which, while a great device, had a lot more limitations in terms of how a game played.

Xbox has just completely surrendered to the almighty dollar. It's the only thing that matters. They don't care about quality, they don't care about their products, they just want money. That's why that profit margin news was such a big deal. They can't figure out an actual workable strategy so they are just punting on it by trying to go multiplatform. When they have no new ideas, as evidenced by a remake of a game that already had a couple and didn't need another, it just proves the point.

Xbox is done and it was killed by greedy executives stifling creativity.

@Ejadaddy fair enough. I just get the impression most people have a switch for Nintendo games and indies. To each their own for sure, but I guess portability plays a big role also. Those games stopped being for me when Odyssey launched, so I am out of touch in that regard also.

I feel like most people on switch don’t care about Shadows. I also feel like anyone who cares about AC already has it on another platform. Heck, I have the ability to get Shadows and I still won’t.

I got this game at launch back in the day and man I loved it. I played through it like 50 times. Great read here.

2025 has been an insane year for great games. September has been on a whole different level of insanely good games launching. I don't know how to find time to play them all.

Probably going to buy the game because I enjoyed the demo. Zero chance I spend money on the DLC.

UE5 leaves me feeling pessimistic about how the game will perform on all platforms.

This is 100% related to tariffs. Anyone who doesn’t think so is in denial. Frustrating for those of us who knew how tariffs work in middle school.

I have the game on PS5. If it can work on Switch it absolutely should be ported. It’s an amazing game!

I’ve done a lot of handheld play and it’s been fine for me, but I’ve always been low maintenance on visuals. Frame rates seem fine and that’s something that bugs me more.

John does the best videos at DF. I love the channel, but he really appreciates a good game and good music.
