Re: Ubisoft Cancels 6 Games In Major Organisation Restructure

Last game I'll likely ever purchase from Ubisoft was Prince of Persia: Lost Crown. Such an excellent game. I don't know what Ubi is doing, but all the buzzwords they threw around have completely lost me as a customer. Then again, Ubi has always been what happens when suits run the creative side.

Re: Opinion: Third-Party Support For Switch 2 Is Already A Dream Come True

A few observations I've made:

1) Sometimes I forget I am playing a game on my Switch 2 when I play on a TV. It's pretty cool. The games look and perform great.
2) When I can't sneak off to the game room, the portability adds a dimension. So I can game while not hiding away.

These above points are huge especially when you consider how well these games perform vs the original switch. Which, while a great device, had a lot more limitations in terms of how a game played.

Re: "Go Tell Nintendo" - Ex-Blizzard President Responds After Xbox Calls Exclusives "Antiquated"

Xbox has just completely surrendered to the almighty dollar. It's the only thing that matters. They don't care about quality, they don't care about their products, they just want money. That's why that profit margin news was such a big deal. They can't figure out an actual workable strategy so they are just punting on it by trying to go multiplatform. When they have no new ideas, as evidenced by a remake of a game that already had a couple and didn't need another, it just proves the point.

Xbox is done and it was killed by greedy executives stifling creativity.

Re: Don't Worry, 'Ori And The Blind Forest' Dev Probably Isn't Shutting Down

So, this guy posts that he might not be able to continue because of bad reviews, then he comes out and blames the media for his awful communication? This sounds like an annoyingly familiar formula.

I have to admit, I am pretty interested in No Rest for the Wicked, but this guy is making me not want to play the game. I don't want to give my money to developers who are manipulative jerks who don't take any responsibility for their own actions.

@Dazman your whole comment reads like you don’t read anything. Rather you develop preconceived notions and then post comments like this.

There is an issue in games journalism and the only thing it is is suits buying up properties and then trying to come up with quarterly earnings increases infinitely and learning that such a thing is impossible.

Investors are a plague.
