I have been patiently waiting for a long time. Tactics Ogre Reborn was amazing and I spent 210 hours in it. Final Fantasy Tactics was my first ever Tactical RPG way back on PS1 and I would buy a remaster/remake in an instant. I hope they do the same art style as TO:R because I really liked the aesthetic of it. Took me back to playing on PS1.

Edit: Maybe an announcement during Nintendo Direct? Just a thought, but maybe?

Well said. The funny thing is I bought more Square Enix games in the last 2 years than I have in the last 20. All those HD-2D games felt like they were made for me. The FF7 remake games, the new FF16, and my most favorite: Tactics Ogre Reborn. I bought all of these games and every HD-2D release. Naturally when they got the most of my cash, they decide they aren’t making enough. I don’t know what people want, but old style turn based RPGs are what square used to do best. I missed that and was thrilled to have it back. Hope we don’t lose it.

Also I have no idea what Xbox is doing, but it isn’t good.

Really excited for this one. It reminds me of Ogre Battle 64 in a lot of ways.

Incidentally, I'd like for them to bring an updated Ogre Battle 64 to current systems.

And where is Final Fantasy Tactics? I know it was just a rumor, but man I'd buy that in a heartbeat.

I’m just getting more and more comfortable not spending money on Ubisoft games.

I’ve gotten every HD2D game so far. Octopath 1 just blew me away with the visuals and I’ve never played DQ3, so count me in.

Really excited for this. I loved the original game and it feels like this was done with me in mind. I can't wait to dive in.

It's bums me out knowing the Konami I grew up with and what they are now. I will grab these when they hit a sale, but not before. I want these, but I am in no rush.

Last time I checked they hadn't yet implemented this policy. Why not just can it altogether instead of making some empty promise?

I just started playing this briefly last night, but I am picking this game over other big titles right now. Just feels like the game I want to play and I've had my eye on this game since it was announced. Glad to see the developers are being recognized for their efforts.

My curiosity got the better of me and I found this place way early (after one dungeon). Beat the game a short while ago. Had no clue you could clear the clouds away.

Looks good. Really hope it turns out to be good. I remember stumbling upon flashback as a kid and playing through it with a friend and it was so much fun. Quality memories with it on SNES back in the day.

Great read. Can't remember the name of the shrine I did last night, but you had to get a large ball across some rails. I was completely confused and finally just said to myself: "well, I have an idea. Not sure if it's right, but it's my idea." It worked and I had the thought that this is a great flexibility of the game. A sort of "there are no wrong answers" experience I had. It made me feel clever.
