The Nintendo fanboyism in this thread is nauseating. You all do realize that mods and emulation is perfectly legal, right? Just because Nintendo is ran by dinosaurs that have their IPs so ham-fisted because of their lack of understanding of how the world's copyright laws work,(keep in mind, these are the same people who wanted people arrested for modding their Switches in Japan) doesn't in any way make them right and that goes for slippi as well which in no way damages their intellectual property. It's nothing more than Nintendo's ignorance showing once again and quite frankly, a lot of us are getting tired of it.

I fear Pokemon may go the way of The Simpsons if changes aren't made soon.

@TheFrenchiestFry I concur. A Igavania Collection With SotN, the Sorrow duology, OoE, CotM, HoD and PoR sounds like a no-brainer on the Switch

@TG16_IS_BAE I’m starting to get the impression that Namco just doesn’t care about their craft anymore When they can just sell a subpar quality games and buyers will just eat it up. Same goes for Square.

@TheFullAndy The difference is that both Sony and Microsoft have announced a lot of first party games for this and next year. Nintendo in the meantime hasn’t given us any information on this and next years first party titles.

Imagine being a share holder in this situation, imagine Nintendo not giving you any information on any upcoming titles this year. Do you really think those shareholders won’t jump ship soon with the lack of information Nintendo has shared so far?

@TheFullAndy Perhaps they should leave the hardware manufacturing business and just become a second party developer and leave the hardware to Sony and Microsoft, since COVID clearly hasn't slowed either of them down like it has Nintendo.

@Tulio517 @N8tiveT3ch It really is disappointing because I would have bought it if it was around the 30-40 dollar mark, but full price is asking too much. You'd think we'd be paying for the trilogy with that price.

@TheFullAndy If Nintendo is that petty a company that it would disappoint fans just to get back at the leakers, despite us waiting for months for information on upcoming titles, then they don't deserve to be in the gaming business. We expect better from them.

@Kalmaro While I do agree the amount would be outrageous, it would at least add more value to the platinum and gold coins we collect instead of just letting them sit there in our accounts with nothing of value to use them on.

Why aren't we getting these kinds of rewards on our My Nintendo accounts instead of worthless screensavers and paper cut-outs? I mean, we used to get things like patches, statues and all kinds of neat rewards to spend our coins on our club nintendo accounts, but not anymore.

So, the leaker was telling the truth, halfway. We are getting a direct, albeit mini, but it's not going to be about Mario titles or any first party for that matter. Either the leakers sources were very confused or Nintendo is doing this just to mess with us.

@ryobi85 I concur. The combat is clunky as Tartarus and the bosses are the spongiest abominations I’ve ever fought.

Whelp, I was originally not going to buy the game because it looked like absolute garbage, but now that I know that it has Nintendo owned copyright music in it, I HAVE to get it now simply for the novelty and proof that Nintendo has not quality control.

Just give me ports of KI:U, Tomodachi Life, M:SR,and the 3ds remakes of Starfox 64, Loz: OoT and MM and I wouldn't complain about 3ds ports ever again.
