Funny thing is....I feel like I have only one rare amiibo. I have Shulk. The rest can be found. Well except for Mega Man. Sonic stopped becoming so rare as well. Maybe Toad....MAYBE! Everything else I have can be found in the store. I hate that I see Disney Infinity characters any and everywhere, but not Nintendo characters I'm interested in. If Nintendo satisfies everyone by meeting demand here, then my faith will be restored. However, I'm afraid that Nintendo is "marketing" in a way to keep demand hungry. Not a good look.
Nintendo needs to stop screwing around and send more amiibos. Stop with the whole "hold back supply to increase demand" thing. It takes the fun out of collecting them. Disney doesn't do it. You see their characters everywhere. Why is Nintendo doing this?!
@DESS-M-8 I understand that. Still, Nintendo's monetary print is all over B2 (Bayonetta 2). So they did fund it. Probably more than half. I thought the reason GTA 3 only came out on PS2, because Xbox was...well unproven (An assumption of mine, not that it was right one). Also I thought Nintendo didn't want terribly violent games on their console.

If a platform pays for the development of a game, you can be certain that it's going no where but on their console. IF they paid for the development!
Mark my words, Street Fighter V will appear no where else, but PS4 and PC. Street Fighter V would have to be under a different moniker for others to have it. Timed exclusive or not. You know...Street Fighter: The Return or something like that.

@Hy8ogen Nope...not for Wii U. Exclusive to only PS4 & PC. If Sony helped fund this game, you can be sure there are stipulations in the contracts to prevent others from getting it. Although they (Capcom) claim there won't be other versions, just add ons...it still wouldn't change the fact that the platforms will only be PS4 and PC. Microsoft funded Dead Rising 3. You don't see that going anywhere. Titanfall either. Look at Bayonetta 2. Nintendo funded that. It's the same thing here.

I know I'm about to get flamed for this, but the graphics was kind of...no scratch that...it WAS underwhelming compared to what the Wii U can do. I know, I know graphics isn't everything. I just didn't expect it to look like a Wii game. However I'll still be picking this up. They still have plenty of time to polish up the game. I don't want to criticize too heavy. My apologies if I offended anyone.
Heck yeah! I'm happy about this. I'm a little rusty now with Mario Kart 8 seeing as other games had my attention. Looks like I'll be pulled away from MKX for a bit with this update coming!
I just wish we had some Nintendo themed packs. However, that's a dream now. Zen wants their tables available everywhere. Of course a Mario or Zelda themed table will be Wii U/3DS exclusive.

I can't stand folks like that. It's a dang on game! What's wrong with half dressed characters IN A GAME?! Most of us gamers play to escape the harsh realities of life and enjoy full immersion of video games and what they offer fictionally. Japan has always had taste in games that best suited what I'm looking for. That's why I continue to support games made by them.

I appreciate the creativity in it. I just think some of the others were better. Nonetheless, everybody did their thing and the pics look great.

@Chubblings Absolutely! Tim Daly did a great job with his voice on the animated series and Justice League. To be honest, no one has a better Batman voice than Kevin Conroy! He IS the voice of Batman. Mark Hamill as Joke as well. Now he just does Skips voice for Regular Show. I would assume that it's more straining to do that voice than Jokers. At least it seems like it.
Anyway, I desperately want a GOOD Supes game. I'm tired of Superman being the butt end of jokes with his games and movies as of late. People can't see jack ish about that the last one. Even if you didn't like it, it was still well written and packed with action.
Ya'll need to stop hating on my boy Supes. Sure he's had some bad games, but so has Batman! If Rocksteady could do for Supes what they did for Bats, then Superman would be in there. Just have Paul Dini write the script for the game and we could possibly have us a stellar Superman game.

How did I miss this?! Obviously this a "Imma get you back for what you said" type of deal here. I'm going to give my honest opinion on what was said here.
As a handheld by itself, there's no question that the Vita is better. Just the hardware by itself. Overall experience is certainly going to the 3DS. The games...no brainer, 3DS all day. Why would Sony even mention their worst selling product to Nintendo's best selling. The 3DS is annihilating the Vita by a country mile. Heck by a 2 states or 2 countries, depending on where you live. If Sony supported the Vita, then the things might be different. Still, since they don't...it was rather stupid of them to mention it in the first place!
As for the Wii. LOL I think we all know that the Wii is a former shell of itself. Damn shame that Sony completely skipped on mentioning the Wii U as if it doesn't exists. I won't go on about the Wii though. We knew that. Sony should have tried harder there instead of a immediate response. Mention the Wii U, not the Wii. That's like Nintendo mentioning PSP or something right now.
@rjejr I agree 100%. I was about to get on Reggie...again, but realize he has a point. HOWEVER, if you're going to boast about HD graphics and so on, then the Wii U is NOT the system to go for. Advertise what make the Wii U different than the XBox One and PS4. So far both of their holiday bundles trump the Wii U's. Which is a shame because I always expect Nintendo to come up during the holidays. Smash is going to do some earth shattering records for Wii U. More than likely it will be the best selling game on the Wii U. Can't wait.
I'm surprised at Reggie. If you're going to throw some shade at the competition, make sure your stuff is impeccable or at least as good as the competition's. With no 3rd party and and the old games bundled with the system now (except for MK8), there would be no reason for me to buy a Wii U at that moment. The Wii U is a great console and Nintendo's quality is the reason I bought one on launch day. I just want them to step it up!
Another thing to add here is that people need to stop attacking others for their preferences. You're on a Nintendo fan site. Of course the majority of fans here prefer Nintendo consoles. What do you expect?! You don't go on a PlayStation fan site and expect everyone to prefer Nintendo, do ya?! I'm here because I love Nintendo, but I love the others as well. No alliance, allegiance, or preference. I prefer all of them if I had to choose. We can get our points across without attacking one another.
I'm very happy to see some people on this site are objective here instead of just bashing the other systems. I read what Reggie said and he's right. At the same time, he also sounds kind of butt hurt. Don't spin what you're lacking to turn it into jabs at the competition being "the same". If you're fine where Nintendo is at, then be fine with it. Nintendo needs third party and that's that. People will continue to buy from the other 2 because Nintendo doesn't have it.
I personally was starting to lose faith in the Nintendo community because I felt like Nintendo fans feel like Ninty can't do no wrong. Now the the true Nintendo fans are speaking up that they aren't happy that 3rd party is becoming non-existent. Nintendo fans don't want to buy Xboxs and PlayStations to play their 3rd party. They want their Nintendo console to do that. I can't blame them. Nintendo really needs to pick it back up with this. It's a huge issue with Nintendo now. The biggest one honestly.
I see this as a win. I mean the Royal Rumble type of matches where no one is safe is a great idea. At the same time I feel as though there would be a separate bracket for that 4 on 4 is good imo.
Put me in the club that just spent 700 coins to get those posters. Like someone said earlier, the rewards have been pretty sucky lately and I had over 1300 coins to spare. Why not?!

They won't release the Wii U version first. You know that. It's going to be a simultaneous release, or the Wii U version will come later. Unfortunately Nintendo isn't in a position to have a parity clause with 3rd party developers. They would just skip out on the Wii U altogether if Nintendo ever pulled what Microsoft is doing.
@Gamer83 I have all 3 systems and I can justify the purchases for each. Now let's be real here...and objective. Nintendo has more first party exclusives out (due to them being out a year longer). However, Sony technically has more games than Wii U for it's library. Whether quality is called into question is irrelevant. The system has games. So your purchase is justified. As far as Xbox is concerned, they have just as many triple A titles as Sony does, but not games. How does Microsoft deserve to stand next to Nintendo in your eyes, but Sony doesn't?!
As far as exclusive games go, I would say Nintendo is best...for now. Please don't go and say that they (Sony) don't have games to play. That's ignorant to say. All 3 have games to play. If you really want to the answer to your question, I'll give you my view.
As far as current consoles go, the Wii U is not as powerful as the other 2. I'm not saying that it's underpowered. It's just not AS powerful. Not all gamers like the gamepad either, not even Nintendo gamers. Not every gamer wants the Kinect, not even Xbox gamers. Which is why MS decided early within a year of it's release to take the Kinect out and sell it seperately. Without that, price parity among the 3 is right where it's suppose to be. Heck, you can even say that the Xbox should be 50 dollars cheaper without the Kinect seeing as the PS4 is more powerful. Let's take Nintendo out the picture for a second because I believe every gamer should own a Wii U. It's the only console you can play Nintendo games on and it's a pretty good console. Now back to the other 2. Now without the Kinect, the PS4 and Xbox One are pretty much the same with one being a bit more powerful. Let's take into account that multiplats for the most part will look and play better on the PS4. Who do you think will by a technically inferior console (hardware wise)? No one. They will go to the PS4. The exclusives is what will determine who will win 2 regions, U.S. and U.K. Everywhere else is PlayStation. So the more popular powerful system with more games will appeal more. The hype train is over. People that say the PS4 is selling on hype alone are foolish. Now this may look as if I'm downplaying the Xbox One, I'm not...or that isn't my attention. This is from a consumer standpoint. The Xbox One is an excellent console. I recommend it to anyone.
So now that the Xbox and PS discussion is out the way. Let's get to the Wii U. Now you have one console who has powerful first party exclusives, but lacks tremendous 3rd party games. Then you have another console whose 1st party games aren't as popular as Nintendo's, but still strong...however has tremendous 3rd party support. Both consoles have great indie support, but Sony edges Nintendo out there. So now we have a "preference" issue. At this point, you're either going to prefer what Sony has to offer, or what Nintendo has to offer. Either way, Nintendo needs to be in the equation for either Sony and/or Microsoft. Or you can have all 3 like me. That way you don't miss anything.
Now I wasn't singling you out. Just informing you that Sony place in this console race is deserved. I didn't even mention all the other fiasco's and what not. I got straight to the point because all that DRM and stuff is irrelevant.

LOL I'm also having difficulty getting 3 gold stars on the lightning cup as well. I swear the computer cheats. As soon as I'm in the lead for at least 2 laps, I get hit with everything under the Sun. I get so mad that I would have to turn off the game and try to calm down.

@readyletsgo The difference is you're talking about one of Sony's first party studio's versus a 3rd party developer's game. No way would Uncharted 4 come to any system, but Sony. Just like Mario wouldn't go anywhere, but Nintendo.

The PS3 version was the worst compared to the 360 version! Much worse. I'm sure the Wii U's version will be the definitive one. I love this game very much. The music is also fantastic. That soundtrack is memorable.

Which is a shame because I always expect Nintendo to come up during the holidays. Smash is going to do some earth shattering records for Wii U. More than likely it will be the best selling game on the Wii U. Can't wait.
I'm surprised at Reggie. If you're going to throw some shade at the competition, make sure your stuff is impeccable or at least as good as the competition's. With no 3rd party and and the old games bundled with the system now (except for MK8), there would be no reason for me to buy a Wii U at that moment. The Wii U is a great console and Nintendo's quality is the reason I bought one on launch day. I just want them to step it up!

Another thing to add here is that people need to stop attacking others for their preferences. You're on a Nintendo fan site. Of course the majority of fans here prefer Nintendo consoles. What do you expect?! You don't go on a PlayStation fan site and expect everyone to prefer Nintendo, do ya?! I'm here because I love Nintendo, but I love the others as well. No alliance, allegiance, or preference. I prefer all of them if I had to choose. We can get our points across without attacking one another.

I'm very happy to see some people on this site are objective here instead of just bashing the other systems. I read what Reggie said and he's right. At the same time, he also sounds kind of butt hurt. Don't spin what you're lacking to turn it into jabs at the competition being "the same". If you're fine where Nintendo is at, then be fine with it. Nintendo needs third party and that's that. People will continue to buy from the other 2 because Nintendo doesn't have it.
I personally was starting to lose faith in the Nintendo community because I felt like Nintendo fans feel like Ninty can't do no wrong. Now the the true Nintendo fans are speaking up that they aren't happy that 3rd party is becoming non-existent. Nintendo fans don't want to buy Xboxs and PlayStations to play their 3rd party. They want their Nintendo console to do that. I can't blame them. Nintendo really needs to pick it back up with this. It's a huge issue with Nintendo now. The biggest one honestly.

I see this as a win. I mean the Royal Rumble type of matches where no one is safe is a great idea. At the same time I feel as though there would be a separate bracket for that 4 on 4 is good imo.

They won't release the Wii U version first. You know that. It's going to be a simultaneous release, or the Wii U version will come later. Unfortunately Nintendo isn't in a position to have a parity clause with 3rd party developers. They would just skip out on the Wii U altogether if Nintendo ever pulled what Microsoft is doing.

@Gamer83 I have all 3 systems and I can justify the purchases for each. Now let's be real here...and objective. Nintendo has more first party exclusives out (due to them being out a year longer). However, Sony technically has more games than Wii U for it's library. Whether quality is called into question is irrelevant. The system has games. So your purchase is justified. As far as Xbox is concerned, they have just as many triple A titles as Sony does, but not games. How does Microsoft deserve to stand next to Nintendo in your eyes, but Sony doesn't?!
As far as exclusive games go, I would say Nintendo is best...for now. Please don't go and say that they (Sony) don't have games to play. That's ignorant to say. All 3 have games to play. If you really want to the answer to your question, I'll give you my view.
As far as current consoles go, the Wii U is not as powerful as the other 2. I'm not saying that it's underpowered. It's just not AS powerful. Not all gamers like the gamepad either, not even Nintendo gamers. Not every gamer wants the Kinect, not even Xbox gamers. Which is why MS decided early within a year of it's release to take the Kinect out and sell it seperately. Without that, price parity among the 3 is right where it's suppose to be. Heck, you can even say that the Xbox should be 50 dollars cheaper without the Kinect seeing as the PS4 is more powerful. Let's take Nintendo out the picture for a second because I believe every gamer should own a Wii U. It's the only console you can play Nintendo games on and it's a pretty good console. Now back to the other 2. Now without the Kinect, the PS4 and Xbox One are pretty much the same with one being a bit more powerful. Let's take into account that multiplats for the most part will look and play better on the PS4. Who do you think will by a technically inferior console (hardware wise)? No one. They will go to the PS4. The exclusives is what will determine who will win 2 regions, U.S. and U.K. Everywhere else is PlayStation. So the more popular powerful system with more games will appeal more. The hype train is over. People that say the PS4 is selling on hype alone are foolish. Now this may look as if I'm downplaying the Xbox One, I'm not...or that isn't my attention. This is from a consumer standpoint. The Xbox One is an excellent console. I recommend it to anyone.
So now that the Xbox and PS discussion is out the way. Let's get to the Wii U. Now you have one console who has powerful first party exclusives, but lacks tremendous 3rd party games. Then you have another console whose 1st party games aren't as popular as Nintendo's, but still strong...however has tremendous 3rd party support. Both consoles have great indie support, but Sony edges Nintendo out there. So now we have a "preference" issue. At this point, you're either going to prefer what Sony has to offer, or what Nintendo has to offer. Either way, Nintendo needs to be in the equation for either Sony and/or Microsoft. Or you can have all 3 like me. That way you don't miss anything.
Now I wasn't singling you out. Just informing you that Sony place in this console race is deserved. I didn't even mention all the other fiasco's and what not. I got straight to the point because all that DRM and stuff is irrelevant.

@JaxonH You sure about that friend. I just tried to recreate that blowing past the blue shell with a mushroom deal..twice. I failed miserably....twice! LOL I'm also having difficulty getting 3 gold stars on the lightning cup as well. I swear the computer cheats. As soon as I'm in the lead for at least 2 laps, I get hit with everything under the Sun. I get so mad that I would have to turn off the game and try to calm down.
@SquidGaming You did a fantastic job. You play just like I do. I wish I could add something constructive to enhance your game play. Unfortunately I can't. However, you've inspired me to play the game again and try getting all 3 gold stars on 150. The Lightning and Star cups are the only ones I don't have all 3 gold stars on.

@readyletsgo The difference is you're talking about one of Sony's first party studio's versus a 3rd party developer's game. No way would Uncharted 4 come to any system, but Sony. Just like Mario wouldn't go anywhere, but Nintendo.
Still, this is rather tiresome. If you want the f'ing game, purchase a Wii U. Otherwise...STFU! Move on Sony and Xbox fanboys! Maybe they (Sony/Microsoft) should have stepped up and funded the game. Now you want to cry it's not coming to your console. Well tough tatas. This is a day one purchase for me on the WII U. I can't wait for it. Also the added fact that I can enjoy the game without having to worry about trophies and achievements is an added plus.

The PS3 version was the worst compared to the 360 version! Much worse. I'm sure the Wii U's version will be the definitive one. I love this game very much. The music is also fantastic. That soundtrack is memorable.
