You guys/gals see those reviews for Shovel Knight? Almost perfect scores across the board with the exception of 2 companies. I can't wait to download it.
This game is shaping up to be one of the best games for Wii U. It seems as though it's packed with content. So much of it. I'm excited for the holidays this year!
Nintendo is going in the right direction with their 1st party games, in my opinion. The new games that are set for release in the later part of the year and next are extremely promising. Splatoon looks like so much fun....and it didn't even have to have real guns and/or blood to do so. Got to hand it to Ninty for finding more ways to make games fun with this shooter infested gaming world today.
I saw the title and knew that this would be interesting to say the least. I hope everyone can keep their tempers and stuff in check. This is a sensitive subject to some.
I got this game on the PS3 and it's AWESOME! I'm getting it on PS4 though. You know...trophies! I know...I know trophies ain't everything, but I really like them.
@Maneauleau THIS!!! I definitely agree here. I would also like to see achievements. I LOVE achievements. I think that would entice some gamers to buy Wii U consoles.
Sorry to be a debbie downer here, but I don't agree with Nintendo buying Capcom outright. Some of the key franchises Capcom has just belongs on other consoles. Just like I believe Phoenix Wright should NEVER leave Nintendo. I can't see any of the Capcom fighters on a Nintendo console. Monster Hunter can be on either Nintendo or Sony. Then again the 260 even got Monster Hunter. Just my opinion. Someone said the Dead Rising series should be Microsoft in an earlier post....I agree. I just don't know about Nintendo getting Capcom if it was a possibility.
I would hope that all 3 would step in and grab a few franchises and agree to keep some multiplat. Of course that's all a pipe dream.

Wow. Can't believe that Wii U hardware numbers are still down. 61K isn't a good number. Glad to see at least MK8 is doing phenomenal though. I have to say though...I'm surprised to see the 3DS pull in 2nd for hardware sales. Dang Kirby really pulled through. I was thinking that it was going to be a tight race between XB1 and Wii U for 2nd. 3DS said, "SCREW THAT...!" LOL Junes NPD should REALLY be interesting.
@JaxonH It really is nice. That's why I have all consoles. Yeah I'm looking forward to a lot of titles. Most of those titles are surprisingly Wii U titles. They have a tremendous amount of games coming out. Sony aren't really coming out until next year, so it's hard to get too excited about anything THIS year. Just LBP3 like you said. Next year they bringing the heat though.
Still Wii U will be top dog for the holidays and I'm extremely thankful that my family and I will be playing fun games this holiday from Nintendo. I'm not sure if Yoshi Wooly World is coming this year. Nintendo already has a full schedule...especially with Smash U coming. I was excited about Yarn Yoshi..I mean Yoshi Wooly World since I heard of it. I like the Yarn Kirby game. Yes it was easy, but it was beautiful and fun to play. Yeah we gamers are in for a treat.

1. PlayStation 4 2. Wii U 3. Xbox One 4. Vita 5. 3DS XL
Like you, the last 2 may switch over after titles I'm interested start coming in. Sometimes my Wii U climbs to the 1st spot. Like right now. My PS4 is literally on standby as my Wii U has been getting SO much play. I haven't touched my Xbox in about 3 weeks. That's just because nothing has come out yet that I want for it. However, they got some heat coming. Between PS4 and Wii U, those 2 alone has some great games coming. Especially the Wii U.
@Ralizah LOL So you're saying that Microsoft's offerings are good, although some of them are sequels or ports like the PlayStation's, were better than Sony's? Wow! Uncharted 4 (although in game cutscene) was one of the most beautifulest character models I've ever witnessed for a console. That's real. Nothing lazy about what Naughty Dog does. Let's keep in perspective here. Bloodborne looks absolutely stunning. The Order looks fabulous and some of the gameplay I did see is shaping up. Amongst a few other things.
The thing about Uncharted and LBP is that they don't have as many games as Mario, Zelda and they don't come out with games that feature those characters often like Nintendo does with them. I don't wanna rag on MS offerings because it's good, but outside of Sunset Overdrive and Scalebound....it was all multiplat stuff. Halo Anniversay Collection (I'm looking forward to it) is just a HD collection like Sony had in the past with extra stuff added though. Much better than Sony's actually.
To be honest, the Playstation 4 TECHNICALLY has more games than the Wii U. Quality is subjective to the consumers taste. Just like the reason a person would buy a PS4 right now, or even a Wii U. Nintendo does have the upper hand with their first party games though. Gosh I can't wait for them.

However, I do agree with those sentiments. The others weren't bad, but they weren't great either. Nintendo just BROUGHT IT!! Too many games that I felt I will actually purchase to have in my home versus renting it. Nintendo games as a whole impressed me more. I'm looking forward to those said titles. Heck there were games that we know are coming that wasn't mentioned from Nintendo. We're getting spoiled here now.
@Giygas_95 LOL Me too. I got my Wii on launch day, My PS3 in February 2009 (I wanted to be on time for Street Fighter 4), Xbox 360 in May 2010, Wii U launch day, and PS4 launch day.

@DESS-M-8 How exactly are they failing? They are ahead at the moment. I do have to admit that I'm more excited for the games coming to Nintendo than I am theirs, but they are in a great position right now. I think that dude that made that claim is basing what happened to PS2 install base and went to the Wii and 360. Of course there's no concrete proof of that, but it's a plausibility.
I felt that Nintendo definitely "won" E3. Games after games after games were shown and it was great. I actually smiled a lot during their show. If I had to rate it, I would definitely say 9/10. GAMES GALORE!!!! That's all I have to say.
Sony had a good show going until they started with that tv and movie b.s. I got bored at the moment. However, they picked it back up showing games like Bloodborne and Uncharted 4. It wasn't a bad show, but it wasn't great either. They have quite a few games that I want to get though. Far Cry 4 is huge for PS. Just good. 8/10
Microsoft also had a good show. They played it safe and showed the games. Although I was disappointed because I wanted them to show more 1st party seeing as they claimed to have lots of exclusives on deck. We already knew Halo 5 was coming. Nothing was shown but a bunch of multiplats and 2 exclusives. Still, the presentation was very good and it wasn't bad, but wasn't great either. I gave it a 7.5 because Sony showed more exclusives on their part.
Now Nintendo has been hammering out games galore this E3. I honestly don't see how anyone would think otherwise. Ubisoft and Nintendo killed it! I'm so happy to be apart of the Nintendo family as we have games coming. I'm looking forward to damn near ALL the games coming. I passed on some of Microsoft and Sony's games. I have to say that 2015 is going to be a battle between the 3. Nintendo is coming out swinging and folks are getting grand slammed on! Good stuff, Ninty!
Come one Nintendo. Re-release the Wavebird in those themes. Trust me...you'll sell!
However, I do have to agree with the consensus here and say that the Yoshi one is official! I love it. I just don't buy 3rd party anything except for games and fightsticks.
@babyguess I doubt it. Look at all of the titles that are coming out this year alone. Bayo2, Hyrule Warriors, Smash U, Captain Toad, etc. That's already a lot of titles right there. 2015 seems more likely.
Nintendo really did wow me today! Nothing but positive things to say! I love it. I will buy every single Amiibo even if I won't ever use it. I'm OCD like that!
I'm not going to front. I was hoping for a more "realistic" looking Zelda game, but I have to say that this one right here is most certainly....beautiful! Well done, Nintendo. Faith has been restored!
@sinalefa Same here! I have to finish my hard playthrough on the PS3 as well. So far, the 360 has the best version of the first game. This game has some really great music as well. I still have to purchase some things from that demon guy. LOL I have to get the plat. Also I have to beat all the Alfheim portals as well. Lots to do before October.
I'm kind of relieved that B2 doesn't have achievements/trophies for me to go after. Heheh

@LookAtMahFace It was too much CGI going on there. I wanted some gameplay trailers and such. It's all good though. I guess we'll see what happens with Sony tonight. I'm actually more excited for Nintendo because they have a chance to blow us all away. They don't even have to show any gameplay. They can just start announcing titles and they will win. Of course they would have to deliver on that, but hey...win win for everyone!
I do have to say that I think Nintendo just may win E3 this year. MS conference was meh...with a bit of excitement towards Crackdown and Scalebound (Platinum games exclusive for XB1). I see Sony doing something right on the level with MS with Project Morpheus. I think Nintendo can actually pull this off. I guess we'll wait and see.
@WanderingPB That's what I'm saying. To keep the longevity of MK going for the Wii U, they should add more cups with redone tracks. To be honest, I don't want to see another MK for the Wii U. One iteration of the franchise per generation is good enough for me. I just want this one to last longer than any of the MK's. Double Dash still holds dear to my heart as the best. I want MK8 to exceed that, if it's possible. I guess we'll find out if it does or not.
To be honest, I would rather have more tracks as DLC. Like they should really redo tracks like the Baby Park from Double Dash and such. That's what I would like to see. Add another GP mode there.

I can very well say the Wii U has nothing but rehashed titles from previous series with an exception to some games like W101, ZombieU, etc. So I will admit right now the Wii U has maybe 2 or 3 over it's competition that's completely new. See here, the question isn't about quality here in this argument. Quality is going to be subjective towards each consumers view. Just like you went on about the rivals offering "more of the same", then fans of the competition can rebut with Nintendo games offering "more of the same" as well. Yes this is about about both hardware and software. The Wii U doesn't have to be a multimedia hub, neither is the PS4 to a lesser extent. The only one that's advertised as such is the XB1.
Also I will have to disagree with your stance in whatever is being offered on the PS4/XB1 can be found on the PS3/360. Not every game is like that. In fact there are plenty of games coming that completely skips out on the last gen entirely. Oh and please clarify what you mean by exclusives not as strong as Nintendo's atm? I mean I'm actually curious. I say that because exclusives in terms of quality is again...subjective. Quantity of exclusives certainly goes to Sony hands down.
Einherjar I don't want you to think I'm just picking on you. I just didn't agree with what you said and felt I should offer another point of view. You don't have to be a bias Nintendo fan to be a fan of the system. I'm certainly not biased towards any console. I play the games, not the consoles. I am, however, bias with the MK series. I can admit that one as well.

You know that the same thing can be said about the Wii U being sold on just it's name to now, right?! Of course we know that's true. Also the fact that the PS4 and XB1 are selling because they have quality that consumers are looking forward. Downplaying it won't get you anywhere, but an argument/debate from other crowds.
Now as far as Sony outselling Nintendo...it's good for competition. The Wii sold over 100 million (although it's not the most popular console amongst the 3) WW shows that capabilities with Nintendo are still there. However, the fight with the Wii U and PS4 in Japan isn't over. As soon as more JRPG's start pouring in, the battle will shift. I think it's good that the Wii U is doing great in Japan and PS4 monopolizing won't happen ever. It's a good time to be a gamer right now though.
I'm so glad I'm not the only one who thought Double Dash is the best Mario Kart...EVER! It really is! Gosh I loved that game. I really could have played it competitively and placed extremely high. I'm that confident in my skills with that game. I literally ran laps around the AI on 150cc easy! Anyone who came to my apartment that could play the game easily got crushed by me. LOL I really love MK though.
Are some of you upset that it didn't come out when it was suppose in conjunction with the other platforms?! Honestly would you had played Watch Dogs over Mario Kart 8? I think fall is a great time to release the game. A developer who will utilize the Wii U's powers and gamepad as it should instead of some gimped version of it. This is good guys/gals.
@Gamer83 Well I think it's safe to assume that in YOUR humblest opinion that MK8 is better than InFamous. I wouldn't say "worlds" better. InFamous is still a great game. I have a bias with MK, so I would think any game would be inferior to MK. MK definitely deserves the praise it's getting. Now all I have to do is work on my 3rd star on all of the cups. I have 2 stars in each cup on 150cc. I would be doing great the entire time I'm in a cup until someone hits me with a blue shell or blast past me with a mushroom right at the finish line. LOL It's all good.
@Action51 I certainly don't wanna throw salt in Nintendo's way for this fabulous game. I absolutely adore this game and it deserves every praise it gets. I just didn't want people to think this is doom for everyone else and all hail Nintendo for this savior. I personally think this game just may give the Wii U an edge on NPD numbers over PS4. Not that any of that matters in the least. However, Watch Dogs did exceptionally well with over 4 million sold with probably the PS4 version to sell the best. Still, I want Nintendo to climb to the top. Their games are top quality and always worth the wait. Just like this game is and how Smash U will.

I'm not in the least bit surprised that MK8 did better than both InFamous and Titanfall during their launch week (MK8 did it in 3 days). This game is deserving of it. Thus far between InFamous and MK8, I don't know which game is better. I guess it depends on what you like. Still, MK8 has proven itself to be in the likes of conversations and debates with Titanfall and InFamous....no doubt.
This game will cause the Wii U's first online overload to the point no one can get a decent match in for like 2 days. LOL I can tell already! ESPECIALLY if this game still plans to release in the holidays.
To those saying that MK was "crap" after the first one is truly misguided. Just because it's not your cup of tea, or isn't coming to your console of choice doesn't make the franchise a bad one. Sad to see it's not coming to Wii U, then again...I'm not surprised. This game would have been the most highly rated in terms of maturity. Blood, sexual themes, language, etc would have been something Nintendo would think about for their brand. Injustice isn't half as violent as MK is.
I'll have this on the PS4. I hope Nintendo can achieve another fighting game gem like Killer Instinct and KEEP IT!!
@Marshi Ummm...yeah let's wait to see what E3 has before we start suggesting the Wii U should advertise what "classics" they have over PS4. To be honest, that type of marketing isn't Nintendo anyway. They need to continue to focus on new IPs and such and advertise THAT! MK8 is the only game Nintendo has advertise severely outside of Tomodachi.

However, I do have to agree with the consensus here and say that the Yoshi one is official! I love it. I just don't buy 3rd party anything except for games and fightsticks.

@babyguess I doubt it. Look at all of the titles that are coming out this year alone. Bayo2, Hyrule Warriors, Smash U, Captain Toad, etc. That's already a lot of titles right there. 2015 seems more likely.

@sinalefa Same here! I have to finish my hard playthrough on the PS3 as well. So far, the 360 has the best version of the first game. This game has some really great music as well. I still have to purchase some things from that demon guy. LOL I have to get the plat. Also I have to beat all the Alfheim portals as well. Lots to do before October.
I'm kind of relieved that B2 doesn't have achievements/trophies for me to go after. Heheh

@LookAtMahFace It was too much CGI going on there. I wanted some gameplay trailers and such. It's all good though. I guess we'll see what happens with Sony tonight. I'm actually more excited for Nintendo because they have a chance to blow us all away. They don't even have to show any gameplay. They can just start announcing titles and they will win. Of course they would have to deliver on that, but hey...win win for everyone!

I do have to say that I think Nintendo just may win E3 this year. MS conference was meh...with a bit of excitement towards Crackdown and Scalebound (Platinum games exclusive for XB1). I see Sony doing something right on the level with MS with Project Morpheus. I think Nintendo can actually pull this off. I guess we'll wait and see.

@WanderingPB That's what I'm saying. To keep the longevity of MK going for the Wii U, they should add more cups with redone tracks. To be honest, I don't want to see another MK for the Wii U. One iteration of the franchise per generation is good enough for me. I just want this one to last longer than any of the MK's. Double Dash still holds dear to my heart as the best. I want MK8 to exceed that, if it's possible. I guess we'll find out if it does or not.

To be honest, I would rather have more tracks as DLC. Like they should really redo tracks like the Baby Park from Double Dash and such. That's what I would like to see. Add another GP mode there.

I can very well say the Wii U has nothing but rehashed titles from previous series with an exception to some games like W101, ZombieU, etc. So I will admit right now the Wii U has maybe 2 or 3 over it's competition that's completely new. See here, the question isn't about quality here in this argument. Quality is going to be subjective towards each consumers view. Just like you went on about the rivals offering "more of the same", then fans of the competition can rebut with Nintendo games offering "more of the same" as well. Yes this is about about both hardware and software. The Wii U doesn't have to be a multimedia hub, neither is the PS4 to a lesser extent. The only one that's advertised as such is the XB1.
Also I will have to disagree with your stance in whatever is being offered on the PS4/XB1 can be found on the PS3/360. Not every game is like that. In fact there are plenty of games coming that completely skips out on the last gen entirely. Oh and please clarify what you mean by exclusives not as strong as Nintendo's atm? I mean I'm actually curious. I say that because exclusives in terms of quality is again...subjective. Quantity of exclusives certainly goes to Sony hands down.
Einherjar I don't want you to think I'm just picking on you. I just didn't agree with what you said and felt I should offer another point of view. You don't have to be a bias Nintendo fan to be a fan of the system. I'm certainly not biased towards any console. I play the games, not the consoles. I am, however, bias with the MK series. I can admit that one as well.

@Einherjar You know I disagree with your sentiments, but respect your logic explaining it.
You know that the same thing can be said about the Wii U being sold on just it's name to now, right?! Of course we know that's true. Also the fact that the PS4 and XB1 are selling because they have quality that consumers are looking forward. Downplaying it won't get you anywhere, but an argument/debate from other crowds.
Now as far as Sony outselling Nintendo...it's good for competition. The Wii sold over 100 million (although it's not the most popular console amongst the 3) WW shows that capabilities with Nintendo are still there. However, the fight with the Wii U and PS4 in Japan isn't over. As soon as more JRPG's start pouring in, the battle will shift. I think it's good that the Wii U is doing great in Japan and PS4 monopolizing won't happen ever. It's a good time to be a gamer right now though.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who thought Double Dash is the best Mario Kart...EVER! It really is! Gosh I loved that game. I really could have played it competitively and placed extremely high. I'm that confident in my skills with that game. I literally ran laps around the AI on 150cc easy! Anyone who came to my apartment that could play the game easily got crushed by me. LOL I really love MK though.

Are some of you upset that it didn't come out when it was suppose in conjunction with the other platforms?! Honestly would you had played Watch Dogs over Mario Kart 8? @Gamer83 Well I think it's safe to assume that in YOUR humblest opinion that MK8 is better than InFamous. I wouldn't say "worlds" better. InFamous is still a great game. I have a bias with MK, so I would think any game would be inferior to MK. MK definitely deserves the praise it's getting. Now all I have to do is work on my 3rd star on all of the cups. I have 2 stars in each cup on 150cc. I would be doing great the entire time I'm in a cup until someone hits me with a blue shell or blast past me with a mushroom right at the finish line. LOL It's all good.
@Action51 I certainly don't wanna throw salt in Nintendo's way for this fabulous game. I absolutely adore this game and it deserves every praise it gets. I just didn't want people to think this is doom for everyone else and all hail Nintendo for this savior. I personally think this game just may give the Wii U an edge on NPD numbers over PS4. Not that any of that matters in the least. However, Watch Dogs did exceptionally well with over 4 million sold with probably the PS4 version to sell the best. Still, I want Nintendo to climb to the top. Their games are top quality and always worth the wait. Just like this game is and how Smash U will.

@Gamer83 You mean in North America, right? WW Sony still outsold MS. I know this is a good time for Nintendo fans to be excited. Heck, I'm right there with them. However, this doesn't mean that the Wii U sales will just sky rocket from this point on. Once Smash hits, it's going to be CRAZY!!!
I'm not in the least bit surprised that MK8 did better than both InFamous and Titanfall during their launch week (MK8 did it in 3 days). This game is deserving of it. Thus far between InFamous and MK8, I don't know which game is better. I guess it depends on what you like. Still, MK8 has proven itself to be in the likes of conversations and debates with Titanfall and InFamous....no doubt.

To those saying that MK was "crap" after the first one is truly misguided. Just because it's not your cup of tea, or isn't coming to your console of choice doesn't make the franchise a bad one. Sad to see it's not coming to Wii U, then again...I'm not surprised. This game would have been the most highly rated in terms of maturity. Blood, sexual themes, language, etc would have been something Nintendo would think about for their brand. Injustice isn't half as violent as MK is.
I'll have this on the PS4. I hope Nintendo can achieve another fighting game gem like Killer Instinct and KEEP IT!!

@Marshi Ummm...yeah let's wait to see what E3 has before we start suggesting the Wii U should advertise what "classics" they have over PS4. To be honest, that type of marketing isn't Nintendo anyway. They need to continue to focus on new IPs and such and advertise THAT! MK8 is the only game Nintendo has advertise severely outside of Tomodachi.
