The time is here, with the Mario Kart 8 DLC Pack 2 and software update now available to download; if you try and fire up your copy of the game it should automatically trigger a download update. Once that's done you can open up the game and set the DLC downloading - when that's finished you have various delights waiting for you.
The 200cc speed class is included for free on all copies, and will be available if you've won gold in the non-DLC cups through to 150cc - you don't need gold in all of the Mirror cups.
As for the DLC Pack 2, that'll download if you've purchased it individually or as part of the pack - it unlocks the following:
Courses
- Animal Crossing
- Big Blue
- Super Bell Subway
- Wild Woods
- Baby Park (GCN)
- Cheese Land (GBA)
- Koopa City / Neo Bowser City (3DS)
- Ribbon Road (GBA)
Characters
- Villager (Boy and Girl)
- Isabelle
- Dry Bowser
Vehicles
- Bone Rattler
- City Tripper
- The Streetle
- P-Wing
In addition there are eight new Mii costumes - free, like the 200cc race class - that are activated by amiibo: Bowser, Wario, Olimar, Sonic, Villager, Mega Man, Rosalina, PAC-MAN, and Toad.
So, will you be downloading this right away, or anxiously waiting to get home? Let us know.

Yaa-hoo!
Mines downloading now 2 mins to go.
YES! ....downloading update... I can't wait to crank my speakers up and wake up my neighbors to Big Blue!
Literally finished installing this second... See ya!
Hooray! Such an arcane update process though. Downloading, installing, updating, installing, updating, updating, installing some more.
Will be Downloading this as soon as I get home. So happy to see the Baby Park track. Not so happy about the characters.
Omg
Just downloading, Super Excited for more Super Mario Kart What a day, Avengers Age of Ultron to see later too, Thanks Nintendo keep up with the Mario Kart DLC.
Now i just need a Wii U lol.
Seems Europe only right now, launched the game on m Wii U and nothing's downloading.
EDIT: Going into eShop triggered the download, so anyone with american Wii U - try that.
Gah, gotta wait till pay day next week.
I can't wait though.
I guess it is good that I'm awake at 5am for no reason then
Dry Bowser here I come!...After school, damn it.
Shame, gone too hardcore. 200 cc feels like a lottery you'll never win. Nice new tracks tho.
I wish there were some DLC for Mario Kart 7.
I will be downloading whenever I next boot up the Wii U, so probably sometime next year.
Here we go!!!
(Oops, too early here in the US)
feels like it just me for the moment, im having issues playing it AFTER ive downloaded and installed the DLC... i can´t find it! i don´t know what happened, last DLC i did same thing with and that worked just fine.
Well, I guess I'll just download it now that I'm actually on my computer before work. Dumb luck, ftw!
@Moon why next year?....
@HeroLink98 Same here but then powered off Wii U and reloaded MK8 then it popped up so hopefully that helps :/
that's my evening sorted!
@Smooty As much as I love the Wii U, and know that the home console versions are 'better' (Smash, MK8) - I just prefer playing my 3DS. Makes no sense, I know. I have a beautiful TV too. X_x
Next year because Zelda - Xenoblade will probably be 2016 too.
I think I was just being a bit moody in my original post tbh.
Cool Ramona avatar
Is this UK or NA?
I can't download the update.... is this Europe only right now?
First thing I'll be doing when I get home from work today!!!
im in ky usa and im still on 3.0 and i have not recived a update...i purchesd both packs before release...
I see...onscreen track maps! Did we know about this? I am loving the new content ...
correction update has just now stared now as i type...
Next on my list but playing through Super Smash Bros at the moment
I booted up Mario Kart and the update hadn't happened automatically like usual.
Found out i didn't have enough memory free.
Now its downloading. Should be fun!
Game updates on the Wii U can be so fun. Boot up game, exit game, boot up game, exit game. Boot up game, go to eShop, exit game, boot up game, content starts downloading, content downloads, boot up game, can't access content, exit game, boot up game, can't access content, exit game, turn console off, turn console on, boot up game, game starts to update again.
I'll be downloading it tommorow, since I won't have time to play today.
OK - update is happening now
@Thomas Whitehead.... You've said there are eight new compatable amiibo then listed 9 characters. I think 9 is right
otherwise.....Whooooo!!!!! The wait is over!!!!!!
200cc on Mute City with the Sonic amiibo costume? Heh, gotta go fast.
@EllenJMiller it's like they know how excited we all are and they deliberately make it use every boring trick in the book to slow us down!
@Moon yea i agree, would be amazing to get some Mario Kart 7. I prefer playing my 3DS to Wii U too
@adamatsu I said the same thing but had some smartass come along and say "Duhhh well it's been it for 4 years so what do you expect."
Great, i was expecting somewhere this evening so that's a plus. I'll be home in 2 hours, so the countdown has begun! was excited for this such a long time, I'm glad the day has come today!
Looks very cool! Probably most excited to Dee Ribbon Road back and better. Too bad I'm on another work trip until tomorrow evening...
Nice! I will get this downloading ASAP!
Can't wait to try these new features out! It's going to be tough to choose which characters or cups I want to play now. So many choices!
@LunaticPandora Ha, it may have been four years but I'm sure they could make more if they wanted to....it'd be great if they could build some synergy with MK8, like with Smash Bros., though that's quite wishful thinking
Time to go download it! My kids are going to be excited when they get home from school.
QUICK TIP: On average, you get about 2 to 4 coins from the item box per race. Item balance has been tweaked, and you can be more offensive. This only applies to 200cc.
You'll notice this right from the get-go.
Good
Was playing earlier this morning. I dont think I've EVER needed to apply the brake like I have these past few races at 200cc. It's super fun, but dang, you're really gonna have to know the tracks to keep up the momentum!
Woke up earlier today to sneak in some footage before work. Worth every minute despite my poor 200cc performance (was my first time anyway). Enjoy!
[youtube:6V1Yz1JqwT8]
[youtube:iRFbgJoYGIc]
@PewnyPL : this worked for me (US). Thanks!!
My goodness 200cc is no joke, im on leaf cup beat all the ones before hand but 200cc on Cheese Land..... Man i beat it once then i got wrecked on Wild Woods. So i had to start over still trying now... Haha fun stuff but so far my fav is Wild Woods just love that stream area ~
@Cloud02 i just went out for a walk with my dog, came back in now and it works as it should! i took your advice and turned off the console too, that probably did make it work when i started it up again. thx mate! .
Arghh - have to win the cups first - it's time to order the high capacity battery pack for the pad .
Just woke up, begrudgingly, at 4am to take my mom to the airport and read this. This put some pep in my step. Never been this happy to wake up 3 hours earlier for work. Now to survive the work day...
Ribbon Road is hard to play.....I keep looking at the background
@HeroLink98 aha good to hear I worked and your now racing around having fun
I've been playing the DLC since 7 in the morning, it's a good thing school starts late today at my place.
I (okay, my brother) pre-ordered it months ago.
But please tell me something. Months ago—like I said—, he pre-ordered the pack that includes Villager, Dry Bowser, etc.; will we still get Baby Park—which was announced after we pre-ordered the pack?
realizes you must earn 200cc Fuuuuuuu....
@Mus1cLov3r yes
Yeah I need to clear those other cups to unlock 200cc
I tried 200cc and goodness it's hard! I think I'll just leave that mode alone lol. The rest of the dlc is even better than last time! Now if only smash bros. had dlc like this.
Played last night in anticipation. I still haven't played a single cup in 150cc so I guess I'll never see 200cc if you need to gold them all. Do you need to 3 star them as well or is Nitneod throwing us a bone? Yes, that's my tiff'd voice.
Well, at least it's free, I'm more interested in the 8 new tracks anyway. Unless we can only play them on Thursdays between 2 and 3PM after we've entered the Wii Fit amiibo (thinking of the Sonic DLC levels last year once per stupidity)
Nintnedo giveth, but Nitneod doesn't let us useth.
Been waiting for 200 CC for what seems like a life time! haha. Finally triple starred all of the mirror cups last night in preparation!
@rjejr Why no 150 CC? That is literally the only fun CC so far.
I had to start the game twice to get update to activate! Generally displeased with Nintendo console's update procedures, much smoother on PlayStation!
@ledreppe The first time it kicks of the 970MB download. Next time it installs it. (Maybe they presume people would rather play than wait for the update to complete)
@rjejr you don't need all 3 stars fortunately.....I've only got 2 stars on the 1st dlc pack tracks and its letting me play them on 200cc. That is of course assuming you've got a gold Mario amiibo otherwise you have to finish everything in reverse
Getting this tomorrow night. Dont even have mirror mode so no 200cc for me.
@Rafie mine too! Enjoy!
@unrandomsam It wasn't installing anything the first time, as I checked download management! It just started the game straight away, and only did what it was supposed to the 2nd time. A bit confusing.
Time to update! Not now, because I want to wait until a later date, don't ask why.
Ah..why do I have to be a responsible adult and work?!
Love rain effects on neon bowser city!
But favourite track is the animal crossing one and metro track!
Favourite character is villager and love streetle and city tripper karts & bike
I have say this pack is far better than first one!
blew past everything on leaf cup but the 200cc i just keep getting screwed at the end of races to get the full 3 stars..... man ima have to make a video about this no joke. The struggle is real i want everyone to feel my pain haha but seriously this is awful. Cheap wins just like old school kart games where the bot would just rubberband up or you get hit right at the FINISH LINE !
@Gobelee - I only playing steering w/ the Gamepad, same as I did w/ all of Mario Kart Wii. 150cc might be fun once I get the hang of it, but I don't think getting Gold on every cup would be fun. Not at all. All golds and 3 stars on 50cc was almost too easy, but 100cc seems about right, though I do have 2 bronze and 2 silver cups and only 2 stars on a couple. I figure 150cc would be fun to play but I'm not going to care about winning. I thought 200cc would be like that as wel, just try it out to se how crazy it was w/o any expectations of doing well, just trying to keep my kart on the track
Read post #78 above this and you'll see "no fun" in action.
I downloaded the new DLC and then the game did an automatic update as expected. It's got version 4 on the screen but I got no 200 cc just the DLC tracks and characters. Anyone else have this problem?
Have you won all the 150cc and Mirror mode cups? It might not let you play 200cc until you have
Ready to race...after school. This is going to be a long and painful wait...😬
Download size for this update?
@andyg1971 You don't need to win all the Mirror mode cups to unlock 200c cups. Mirror and 200cc unlocks the same way.
Well, it's not quite as much of a trainwreck as the first DLC pack, but still rather subpar. To cover it right away: none of the new drivers and vehicle parts bring anything new to the roster in terms of stats, so they're merely cosmetic appeal. As for the tracks... well, I didn't expect much, so it was rather easy to surprise me - which still didn't happen except for one track in total. Woo.
To conclude it: it's better than the first DLC, but still isn't worth the asking price. Most tracks only stood out with their theme or music, but not with the track design.
However, 200cc is a completely different beast. The huge speed increase that wasn't planned for most tracks offers a considerable challenge, and makes heavyweights much less effective due to some turns being pretty much impossible for them at full speead. I don't know if Nintendo had such a thing in mind, but 200cc balances the chances more in favor of middleweights, which is a really good thing in terms of encouraging experimentation.
Update downloaded first, DLC still downloading,
I tried the Mushroom Cup in 200cc, (with the Sonic mii outfit) and I had to change my tyres from fast ones to grip ones, as I kept crashing into the sides while drifting - and even after changing my set up, it was still super mega crazy. Second time was with Mega Man outfit, and neither looked as cool as Samus or Captain Falcon outfits.
And very fun. Can't wait to get the new courses
As soon as I got up, I went straight towards my Wii U... I won't be able to play it, but at least I won't have to wait for it to finish downloading!
Why there is no reward for completing all cups 3 stars in 200cc mode so i did complete all cups 3 star ranking in 200cc for nothing
@Kaze_Memaryu
It haves to be superduperwuvydovied up to be you, go play COD where you pay 20€ for 4 remade maps maybe then you feel happy
7€/$ for 8 tracks 4 characters vehicles tire and a glider is much XD ? Yoh must be kiddin
@pandarino it was mentioned in the changes for the update, but not very publicized
Played through all 8 tracks and a little bit online. It's a great addition! My favorite tracks are Super Bell Subway and Ribbon Road. Why do people seem to dislike Neo Bowser City? I like it, though I did as well on the 3DS. The rain effects are cool, and it's one of the tracks that really transports me to the environment.
Not here in Germany so far 8( Maybe later the day or tomorrow.
EDIT: I correct, it is downloading right now. Will see the result. All tracks are actually my favored tracks,
especially Baby Course... so much nonsense back in the days with Double Dash... oh, how I miss Double
Dash sighs
@Kaze_Memaryu You really should be ashamed of yourself. I can't believe you wrote that 8000 word crap "review" and posted it in the comments section here. Get a life.
@vio Ashamed for expressing their opinion? That's odd, I thought that's what a comments section is for. Stop hating other people just because you don't agree with their views. I don't agree with everything @Kaze_Memaryu said, but respect their opinion.
@Tsurii897 Try 200cc and bob-ombs only on Baby Park. It makes it a little better.
@rjejr Haha fair enough. I am awful at motion controls. Maybe I will give it a try
@Shane904 I see. Very welcome addition!
This will be a new challenge to 100%. I've kept up so far, though. Debating whether to start with the cups or the time trials.
@benptooey LOL, I got up started the download and scarfed down my breakfast as quickly as possible only to see same thing, updating, installing, wait I forgot to update something, install....... for a second I thought my WiiU went haywire.
Oh Nintendo, it worked out in the end, got to play 200cc; which was not a good idea that early in the morning. Went back to 100 and felt like a turtle.
Enjoy everyone because the tracks are fun!!!!
It is sad to hear that the pack was not for you, Kaze. I just finished both cups in 100cc and I had a big grin when I played the Big Blue and Animal Crossing tracks. Oh well...
Consider it downloaded
@Kaze_Memaryu ' Anyone else noticed how this is basically the Mario universe equivalent of Xenoblade's Frontier Village'
This is pretty much the only thing I can agree with.
@ULTRA-64 - My gold Mario amiibo is in the mail, ShopTo told me so
One good thing about the 200cc listing, it says you don't need the DLC to use it,which is nice. If you did need to buy the DLC tracks then they really coudln't list it as free.
FYI for anyone who cares - you can use 200cc in the vs mode. (Though in retrospect I don't think thats' what it's called., I'll check when my DLC is finished.)
Can't wait to get home and play this.
I definitely need practice with 200cc. I can't believe that I need to use the brake. The speed is fine, but the turns are extra slippery. Selecting better kart handling stats doesn't help.
I finally tried this too...
1st of all i did the time attack ghost challenge, really easy, then i tried the 200cc...
Man thats really one hell of a challenge! I managed to get the shell triple star gold cup but i didn't like my performance at all...
Online i got my ass kicked so bad...i mean steering with the racing motorbike its really hard at 200cc! I have to use brakes(for the1st time ever on a mk game) in order not to go out of bounds!
How do you do it on 200cc w/ motorbikes?
@sinalefa - "you don't need gold in all of the Mirror cups"
How did you miss that but noticed I mixed letters and numbers?
200cc is available under speed in the "make your own race" settings. Coming in 12 out of 12 is a new feeling for me. I did get that "lucky 8" item for the very first time ever though. I actually came in first on the Excitebike track but that really only has 2 turns so straightaway speed makes up for rubbing the walls at both ends.
Waiting for the DLC to install, then I'm out of here, my oldest son gets home from school in a few minutes, half day today. Google "common core".
Anybody in NA still wondering my morning went something like this:
1. 11:30 turn on Wii U , nothing different.
2. Put in game disc and start it up, 3 minute DL and install to 4.0
3. Games asks if I want to DL DLC. Says 9 minutes, I play old tracks in 200cc after pressing Later.
4. Exit and restart game. Needs 4 more minutes to "install" 923MB DLC.
I'm hoping it will be ready to go after that, my patience is wearing thin.
@rjejr respect for using the motion controls btw! I had to for 6 weeks as when mk8 came out I had a cast I'm my left hand due to a broken thumb. It was hard going but let me play when I couldn't hold a pad properly so avoided a gaming drought!!
@rjejr
You don't need gold in the mirror cups, but you need gold in the 150cc, which I don't have. Haven't even touched the 150cc, so are you telling me I don't need that to play 200cc?
Ribbion Road is my favorite! I think this DLC is better than the first one imo. Now back to Mario Kart 8
@sinalefa - It's Nintedo, so as usual it's complicated
If you pick 1 player or 2 player on the first screen, and "VS Race" (thats the NA version, not sure if the menus are different where you are) on the 2nd screen - it's the 3rd choice under "Grand Prix" and "Time Trials", then you can chose 200cc in the speed line, it's 50cc, 100cc, 150cc, Mirror, 200cc, like they were trying to hide it. And it did let me play. Granted no glory playing in VS race mode, but you know me, I'm all about having fun, not proving anything to myself or anyone else.
So, yes, you can play 200cc, but no it doesn't count. How's that?
@rjejr
Yes, you can play 200cc but in multiplayer only that way. Thanks for clarifying that.
These new dlc levels are great, it's just a shame they're for Mario Kart.
Didn't expect this at all. I guess most people will still be thinking it's coming in May and not even bother to check before then... unless they decide to play the game before May, or come to these forums or watch ND or someone tells them or.. oh they will find out somehow I suppose.
Downloading now. Wow!! The download is pretty quick, by Nintendo standards.
The comment section here starts to remind me an awful lot of DA... no negative views allowed. Very mature...
@Dbwesz Yes, because not liking Mario Kart 8 DLC always amounts to being a CoD fan... sigh
@vio Why should I? Because I don't share the popular opinion? Because you don't like my view on the DLC? Because you said so? Like it or not, it wasn't hard to see for me how these tracks could've been much better than they are. Whether this coincides with your view on the matter is something I couldn't care less about.
@noctowl Your view, not mine. I didn't write that to tell others how it is, but to leave my view on it, so make of it what you will. Also, train wreck is a perfect word to describe the first DLC, so I don't see how that's supposed to affect my "credibility" in the slightest.
@sinalefa - No, you can play 200cc in single player mode, I don't know why it's called VS Race. Sorry I wasn't clear before.
@Kaze_Memaryu Maybe I'm being thicker than usual today (probable), but what is DA?
Can't wait to get home and play this
@Vineleaf DeviantArt I believe and @Kaze_Memaryu you're wrong. DA has a lot of negative views and comments. You only have to dig deep enough.
@CharlyDunst Thanks. Makes sense.
@cloudrunner64 It's all about the tracks, anyway. And Big Blue is one of the best in the entire game.
I really struggled when I first played 200cc this morning but I'm now 8 races into the NL tournament and I've placed 1st 5 times. If you know the tracks well it's really not that hard at all,I've rarely needed to use the brakes, you just need to get the right race line and drift or hop at the right time.I'm on 84 pts just now but it should really be 99.I got a communication error right after crossing the finishing line in 1st and was awarded zero points for my efforts.
Baby Park, No items, Isabelle only
@OorWullie That sucks, but considering you've come first five times, you'll probably still get a lot of points anyway (at least enough to get into the top three, I hope).
For some reason, it will only let me update if it can save to the system memory so I've got to move a load of games to my HDD. I don't understand why the update can't be saved to the HDD. At least I get some extra faffing to do.
Love the visuals on Wild Woods. Favorite track from the pack, closely followed by Big Blue.
Hoo yes! Love it. Bone Rattler is my new favourite vehicle, and seems to perform very nicely on the standard tracks in 200cc. Fave course so far is Super Bell Subway.
Just need to get my homework done, first...crap.
Now a mission mode a la Mario Kart DS and at least new balloon battle maps and we'll be all set.
I just got home and I had to pay 7.99. I was a Dry Bone head when I could of bought both packs for 11.99. The time remaining says 12 sec. and that is a lie because it is staying on 12 and going slow for download. This is clearly the best game on WiiU so far. I am so excited. Yippie, hurray, hot diggity dog, holy moly, and all that stuff.
The next DLC is battle mode. I'm a gonna cross my fingers.
downloading it tomorrow.... also i have the season pass so i can download DLC pack 2
@CharlyDunst Maybe it's like that now, but I still remember how aggressive people became there when someone was being negative about someone's art there, baseless or justified.
@ryando I believe it's because the game won't work correctly otherwise. The WiiU notes that you have an update downloaded, and will delete that note once you delete the update. But if you had the update on an external storage without connecting it, the WiiU would still assume you had the update and get an error trying to load it with the game.
Having played 200cc on every track, majority of tracks are ok still for me. Some terrible tracks on 200cc for me are Wario Stadium, Wii U Rainbow Road, Dragon Driftway to name a few.
The DLC is great, can't stand Koopa City though but I never liked it in MK7.
Ribbon Road, Baby Park and Animal Crossing are great.
Big Blue, Subway and Wild Woods are growing on me.
I feel Cheese Land is wildly too different to the original, they've taken the mice off the track from GBA original and put Chain Chomps in, don't understand that switch. I still like the track but it's hard for it to feel nostalgic, and it's a bit disappointing to someone who likes Super Circuit.
Played a bit of online in 200cc and I sucked at it so I need more practice. This is despite the fact that I race as lightweight Toadette!
So where is 200 cc is just online?
Maybe I need to get that last star
200cc certainly is a challenge. I'm slowly learning though; 150cc feels sluggish now.
I suck. What happened to me? I am out of practice. I better get cracking.
@dragon_warrior1 I admit you have a fair point, but I'm not one to hold back with criticism. It's not me to express critical thoughts in a friendly way, and I'm not willing to change that about myself, while being fully aware that people can become angry because of that.
However, the backlash here was going out of its way to target me as a person along my opinion, which is where I tend to draw the line. I don't feel insulted or even irritated about it, but it's disappointing how quickly some people lose their minds when something's not according to their impressions.
Thanks for the kind offer, though. It's appreciated criticism from your end.
@Smashy_Link I agree. After 2-3 cups at 200, 150 feels like a downgrade now. I love it. CPU contestants seem to find it hard to follow me. I can space them much easier than 150cc.
@Kaze_Memaryu Cheese Land was a little boring, but I disagree completely on the Animal Crossing Track. The Zelda map was a generic castle, with rupees, and a master sword.
The Animal Crossing level has Resetti popping out to attack you, fruit trees you have to shake to get items, and balloons you have to hit to get weapons. THrow in the named villagers from the game, not just generic NPCs but actual named characters, and the seasons, and it feels EXACTLY like driving around in Animal Crossing town.
You shake the trees to get items out for crikeys sake!
That's like, half of Animal Crossing right there.
@Tate24 Shaking the trees to get fruit items amuses me way more than it should
I dug Wild Woods. Very Ewok-esque.
Big Blue was much better than Kaze let on. The whole thing was a wonderful homage to F-Zero X, it had great presentation, and I like how it was one long track. That was the right choice for it.
Ribbon Road was the other highlight here, surprisingly. It was much more evident that it took place in a kid's room than in MKSC.
About the only track I'd classify as mediocre was Super Bell Subway, which was kinda bland and reminiscent of other MK tracks with its train obstacles.
@russellohh I liked that track as well and it really makes me want an Animal Crossing game for Wii U.
I like it. I like it a lot! F Zero Big Blue... Ah... The perfect course.
I silvered both cups- just goes to show how out of practice I am. And my goodness- is it just me, or are some of the turns in Neo Bowser City just flat out impossible no matter what cart you're driving? I remember having trouble with that course on the 3DS... I thought playing the course in this game might rectify that but it didn't. Those turns are just really freaking sharp.
I was having a lot of fun with 200CC. I played more of that with the old tracks then the new courses.
Neat! I didn't think it'd be out that quickly. I've had a long day, so I'll probably just unwind and play some Mario Kart instead.
@Kaze_Memaryu I respect your opinion, but don't you think its a little too early for any sort of review? (negative OR positive)
Personally I love the AC track the best...
What I hate is that the retro courses aren't all bundled together, and that people actually like baby park. I never did. When the heck did retro courses spew out into the new tracks section? BABY PARK (and cheese land) SHOULD BE IN RETROS FFS.
Just did 50cc Animal Crossing Leaf Cup last night, with my girlfriend, before I slept and it was so much fun! I love that new Leaf track car, looks uber!
@Uberchu DLC Pack 1 only had 3 retro courses so the retro cup rule had to be broken.
Fan-freaking-tastic DLC. I've been playing non-stop since yesterday. It's been a blast playing these new courses online. I've barely scratched the surface of 200cc but it really has a big impact. I'll have to revise how I attack each course in this new class but that just adds more replayability. The only downside to all this extra content to Mario Kart 8 is that it keeps me coming back to play Mario Kart 8 over and over again which is not great for the stack of unfinished wii U games that I have as MK8 is just too good to pass up and it's almost always the game I wanna play first. Aaaaarrrrrgggghhhh first world problems.
@Uberchu It's not like I wrote that on a whim. I spent roughly 2 hours on the DLC tracks alone, driving through them with various driver vehicle combinations. And then another hour to drive through 200cc.
3-star Gold Trophied all 50cc Cups. Now onto 100cc. Man, I suck at this. XD
I got 100% Gold/3 stars in Mario Kart Wii but I've been really struggling with Mario Karts 7 and 8.
@Kaze_Memaryu
I like how you call one of the most critically acclaimed DLC's "a complete trainwreck" and are "fully aware" you're offending people, but are still "disappointed" that people do this on a forum that reminds you "an awful lot of DA".
As cherry on the cake, your "self-knowledge on how you to express critical thoughts and are not willing to change" must make it a wonderful experience to post anyway!
Sad to hear you don't like the DLC hehehe. No seriously.
@Reusinck Critical acclaim often doesn't relate to actual quality, so there's that, but I'm not here to discredit people who like this pack. If they like it, I have to deal with that - and I do.
But, it doesn't matter whether I know what reactions I'm likely to procure, that doesn't mean it's okay for others to attack people because of differing opinions. It's less about how they reacted to my opinion and more about their apparent need to become so aggressive over criticism that doesn't sit well with them - it could happen to others, as well, and those others might not take it as easily as me.
@Grumblevolcano oh. guess I never cared enough before
@Kaze_Memaryu I can't even legit 200cc atm so i might not bother with that
I've just started working on 150cc the new tracks though with my toad suit. I'll do 2 races of that then 2 100cc's with the remaining chair/suit I need to use.
I'm having a blast but I won't stop you form having your opinion. no need to fight over opinions. I have people try to do that to me a lot of the time in an online game I play. makes me sad D:
