The PS4 definitely deserve the accolades it's getting. Especially with the sales. Critically and commercially it's arguably been the best this gen hands down. Proud owner of all 3 systems. However, PS4 and Switch has been the best combo this gen.
I want to shout out the NintendoLife community though. I remember years ago if you would post anything about Sony or other competition, it would be riddled with downplaying and some unwarranted hate. Now I see MOSTLY congratulatory comments and such for scenarios like this. Kudos to you, Nintendolife.
I knew this game would deliver. Now all I have to do is wait for Halloween! I didn't play the first one on Gamecube, so this will be my first time playing it.
@Doktor-Mandrake I'm hoping for SF4 to come to Switch as well. You can forget 5 coming as it will be exclusive to PlayStation. 4 is better than 5 anyway. I have every Street Fighter to date and outside of 3rd Strike and Alpha 2, SSF4 is by far my favorite one.
@sixrings I have SF4 on the 360, PS3, and PS4. I would definitely pick up a Switch version. They (Capcom) need to go ahead and make this happen. They released RE4 for the billionth time. This would be welcomed big time.
This game isn't going to flop because some of you won't let go of the fact that P5 isn't coming to Switch. It's going to sell well because the interest of Persona is there. Some of you saying "vote with your wallets" to show your distaste. It could very well have the opposite effect. Atlus could shrug and say, "see....they really didn't want the game". However, if this sells very well...Nintendo could see a possible port or some sort to Switch.
@Itachi2099 If this game was going straight to PS4 with no Switch announcement, a lot of Nintendo fans would be very upset. Atlus did at least release this game to Nintendo. A mainline Persona game has yet to hit another console outside of PlayStation. Persona 6 could very well end up on Switch. Let's just enjoy what we have at the moment. SMTV will be a blast I'm sure of it!
This fighting game is criminally underrated. If you haven't played it yet, please do yourself a favor and PLAY IT!!! Awesome game with fantastic music to boot.

@NIN10DOXD I agree for the most part about GTA V. Thing is GTA V, from a technical standpoint, is much more intensive hardware wise. I think the cartridge is why it's not able to fit the game in it's glory on there. Not that the Switch hardware itself can't handle it. If it can go on the PS3 and 360, it definitely can go on Switch.

Not that I'm saying the experience would be better on PS4. Definitely not saying that. You all will simply adore this game. Beautiful game with fluid gameplay and an immersive story. My favorite indie over Celeste and Cuphead. Scratch that...one of my favorite games period. Don't wanna pigeon-hole Ori to just being great for an indie.

@Dm9982 Same age man with 3 kiddos myself. I'm super excited for this as well. I never did beat Lion King. I beat Aladdin on Genesis and that was the superior version of Aladdin in my opinion. I had the Capcom version on SNES too. I was super bias with Super NES back then, but even I had to admit that the Genesis port was better.
BEWBS!! Nothing wrong with that. Sony is killing themselves slowly with these draconian policies. Switch will be the viable platform. Still a niche genre. However, the precedent will be set.
Scalebound was a huge disappointment. Still, I'm looking forward to Astral Chains and B3. Hell I would take Wonderful 101 for the Switch. That game would sell big time!
@TheStar-Lord I'm really looking forward to all of those titles. Babylon's Fall looks good. I was hoping Platinum would have finished GranBlue Fantasy, but nope. Cygames took over. It's cool. PG seems a bit stretched with the games in development anyway.

Not surprised about the reaction this is getting. I would venture to say that the final nail was placed long ago in the coffin. Now the Wii U is just...existing. However, the games for it keeps pouring in and the games are GREAT!! Some should be happy Nintendo wants to keep their core values in alignment with quality to give gamers the best game they can. Can't be mad at that!
@Artwark Like others have said. The MGS series is known for being on PlayStation consoles. Naturally it's gonna sell more on PlayStation consoles. Same as the Tomb Raider series and/or Final Fantasy. It would be the same for Monster Hunter being on platforms (which it is), but it's best on Nintendo consoles or gamers feel more at home with playing MH on Nintendo consoles.

This sounds really cool. I'm very interested in anything 80's. What can I say? I was born in '82 and loved G Force, Voltron, Transformers, etc. This sounds like it's cut from the same cloth as them. Of course I've never seen this cartoon due to it being in Japan. Oh and they are in talks with Peter Cullen?! Wow. I'm also very surprised at the Dreamcast version being made. I still have my Dreamcast in mint condition. I love the idea. I will certainly buy amiibos for this if it happens. I'll back this. It would be the very first kickstarter I have ever backed. I just like the sound of this project.
Why didn't we get this in NA? I swear man Nintendo loves EU more than NA. Or maybe NoA isn't doing enough to get us these nice perks NoE has been getting. I've been on Reggie's case for a while now and I don't want to blame everything on him. However, he has the biggest voice here (US) and nothing is coming our way. Not stuff like this.
