I will ALWAYS recognize the Koopalings as Bowser's children. I remember on the cartoon show, they were his actual children. Miyamoto might as well cave in and just make them Bower's kids. I got a 7/8 btw. Last question got me.
15/15 baby! I've been playing this series way too long not to recognize the characters. Dark Samus almost got me. I was going to put Samus until I looked at the shadow of the boots.
I see a lot of support here for TLOU2. I'm actually surprised. Normally it would be a bunch of negative comments and such. Just a few. Definitely not the majority though. Good stuff, NL!
As of lately, I've been tired of seeing the port begging from Nintendo fans. However, I understand the frustrations. More particularly in this case. Outside of PlayStation, the KH series certainly has more fans on it than anyone. It's surprising not to see the remixes on here, yet Xbox got them. I don't think Nintendo fans should fret though. The KH remix games are coming. No doubt. They're probably working on it now making sure everything is working right.
Hopefully you all can get the Yakuza collection while you're at it. I know....baby steps. Still, at least this game is coming to Switch. Imagine the uproar we'd hear if this game skipped Switch. It would more or less be like it is now in the comment section. Except it would be worse.
@Razer The Switch is all but guaranteed to hit over 100 mil man. You gotta look at the trajectory of sales. It's outpacing the PS4 now. This year or maybe next will be the Switch's peak year. Still with no proper price cut on the console yet, the Switch continues to sell at a high rate. I can't imagine what will happen when it does get a proper price cut.
I understand what you're relaying about consumer logic to the casual audience. However, there's still too many variables that can also be looked at in Nintendo's favor. There are some die hard fans out there for every system. Switch is an anomaly for Nintendo. It's crazy how it's selling. Who would've ever thought Animal Crossing would sell the way it's selling. Not me.
@dew12333 Sony has always had a relationship with Platinum Games. PlayStation is still Japanese console maker (albeit them adopting American directives). Of course it wasn't just going to be Nintendo. Why would you say that they're going more towards Sony? I don't think they are at all. I also highly doubt that Bayo 2 and/or 3 will ever hit over consoles outside of Nintendo.
@Friendly Ummm ...the franchise of Bayonetta probably wouldn't exist anymore, not the developing company itself. Platinum Games would still be around. They still had other contracting deals with other developers and such.
Wow. I've never played any of those games, so I'm okay with the offerings. However, I echo the majority of the sentiments here and hope that we get more notable titles that's been requested for a while now.
@glaemay Please stop! It's not the first time you've been spreading that ignorant rhetoric about Sony and their "fans". Sony doesn't hate Platinum. Otherwise games like Nier Automata wouldn't have sold the way it did before it went to other platforms. Also Babylon's Fall wouldn't be releasing either as well as Wonderful 101 on Sony platforms.
@joshuagamer The Bayonetta IP isn't owned by Nintendo either. Nintendo funded Bayonetta 2. Just the same as Sony funded most of Street Fighter V. That's why I mentioned it. It would be a fair trade. No God of War, Horizon, Last Of Us, etc would be a fair because those are 1st party games for PlayStation. Nintendo would have to give up a Mario or Zelda title to satisfy that type of deal.
I have my doubts. Bayonetta 2 and 3 doesn't look like it. Nintendo funded these games. If Nintendo lets this happen, then Sony can divvy up one or 2 of their exclusives (like SFV) to ease a fair trade. MS has already shown good faith by giving Ori AND Cuphead to Nintendo.
@NoTinderLife I've been asking for this since forever. It's been a while since Kamiya and Capcom worked together. They should totally do it now. I'm sure Kamiya would enjoy doing a proper new game for Viewtiful Joe.
@PerishSong Prior SMT games were on PlayStation consoles before, so the possibility is definitely there.
I know I'm going to get downvoted, but damn the port begging of this game needs to cease. It's apparent Atlus isn't developing the mainline Persona games for Switch for some unknown reason. @Wexter I understand the dynamics of how the ownership of games and exclusive titles go in this case. I know P5 isn't exclusive to Sony, but for some reason it's staying exclusive. Which is why I brought up the notion about that type of logic used when someone wants a game for their platform of choice. I always found it weird Nintendo never got any Persona games. I thought it made more sense for Nintendo than Xbox (referring to Arena games). SMT fans are also on PlayStation, yet I wouldn't be mad if SMT V stayed exclusive to Nintendo. Then folks would have to buy a Switch for it.
I'm not going to lie though. I don't like port begging of any sorts, but I understand why gamers do it. The Persona 5 issue will always touch a nerve with Nintendo fans because of the whole Joker thing. Although a mainline Persona game has never been anywhere but PlayStation. Personally, I would hope both Persona and the Yakuza series hit Switch. It's going to Xbox, why not the Switch. Kingdom Hearts as well. Especially seeing as the fanbase was more pronounced with Nintendo than Xbox.
@Gwynbleidd With that type of logic. It's no different than when PlayStation fans tell Switch fans to buy a PS4 if they want to play Persona 5.
Personally, I can see a few games that may have been PS exclusive hit Switch. The Switch has already surpassed expectations and some. It would be foolish at this point for anyone to ignore Switch.
@Dirty0814 Actually I do have an argument. You're just too immature to converse with. "Sony's lame products"...yeah you're clearly a fangirl. Have a good day...again and learn how to conversate/debate without calling someone a fanboy and maybe you'll garner better dialouge with folks.
@Dirty0814 For the last time I'm done talking to you. You have shown clear bias towards anything not Nintendo. Yes you are a fangirl and your last sentence displays it. I'm already bored of you.
@Dirty0814😂😂😂 Boy you're a special one, aren't ya? It's not even worth going back and forth with you. If I'm a Sony fanboy, then you are certainly a Nintendo fangirl. Let's not talk about remasters. All of them are guilty of it. Hell a good chunk of the Switch's library are ports of games that came out for PS4 and Xbox One. Let's ignore that to call out Sony for having some remasters. Don't even bother replying. You've already shown you can't handle a conversation without calling someone a fanboy who has differing opinions than you. Good day.
@Dirty0814 First of all, 0relax yourself with that fanboy talk. If anyone is exhibiting fanboy behavior...it's you. Now as far as exclusives go (this generation) Nintendo definitely doesn't have more than Sony does. It's you that need to do the research. You're reaching. I mentioned triple A because THAT is what Sony said for PS4, not PS5. This generation PS4 was chock full of exclusives. More so than the other 2. So for you to say that Nintendo has more than Sony and Microsoft is completely incorrect. I mean far off. Wow you said combined. I'm still baffled by that. Nintendo has more exclusives than Microsoft. Not Sony bud.
@Dirty0814 No Nintendo does not have more exclusive than MS and Sony combined. (if you're referring to just this generation) Dude just don't. Especially Sony. Btw, you're incorrect by saying that Sony said they would focus on less triple A games for PS5. They said that for PS4. Look how that turned out....
@GAMER1984dude2 It's not the same. This will be a completely remastered in "today's" graphics. Meaning it will look more modern than that back in the 90s.
@NEStalgia Sorry I had to go to work. That's why I didn't respond right away. Anyway I do have more to say, but I don't want to seem combative and argumentative...so I'll end it here on this particular subject. I will say this though. Yes the name "The Show" concerning the video game is tied to Sony, but Sony doesn't completely control the game because of the licensing franchise intertwined with it. Essentially like we've both been saying.
Again, I don't think it even went far as the MLB having to threaten Sony with going elsewhere. They've reached a deal before that happened. Still, I know what you meant. Anyway...good chat man.
@NEStalgia Again..I don't think they were threatened. The use of that word changes things. Now if Sony didn't come to an agreement, then yes I can see how things would have gotten threatening.
I still think you're missing what I'm saying here, but now on a different point. Let me explain. What I meant by the first party bit is that the MLB controls the narrative with their own franchise. It's theirs. Not that it being first party to Sony didn't matter. However, Sony doesn't have complete control over the "The Show" series because they themselves don't own the franchise it's tied to.
Now you're right about Sony not being the ones approached about this. MLB did it. Like I said before, it was them that wanted to maximize their franchise on all markets. However, they still had a deal with Sony in place. So renegotiating the contracts to include other platforms while Sony still has a hand in receiving some of the revenue was probably a deal Sony couldn't refuse. It certainly wasn't out of the kindness of their hearts. Then again, all 3 companies do this. It seems like Sony gets more of the bad rep about it when everyone does it. Meaning make deals that make sense to the company that is.
I doubt there will be exclusive content if it's not a PlayStation Plus jersey or anything of that nature. Also I'm confident that the MLB will want parity across the platforms to avoid backlash. The Switch will be the weakest graphically and resolution wise, but still should perform almost on par with what the console hardware could do.
Btw I agree with what you said earlier about Sony not having a choice here. That really goes back to what I was saying about the franchise not really being Sony's to begin with. If Sony had complete control over all of the teams on the game, we wouldn't be seeing a multiplat "The Show" game.
@NEStalgia You've missed what I said. I said it was a business deal that the MLB presented to Sony because THEY (MLB) owns the license, not Sony. All of that 1st party jazz don't mean anything when the franchise isn't officially yours to begin with. Sony still will make money off of the franchise going forward to other platforms. That's why their name and studios are still on it. The licensing fee could be high, but we're not sure if that's the main reason. It's a plausible one though. I just feel like the MLB wants money from the others as well. Not to mention some fans wanting the game on their system of choice. While Sony still has their deal renewed with the MLB whilst getting a bit of revenue from the others....this satisfies all parties.
While Sony developers are great ones, they may have to get in touch with those who are much experienced with the Switch to make it just as great as the other 2 moving forward.
@NEStalgia I don't think it's MLB threatening Sony. These giants are business conglomerates. MLB is owned by the MLB. They want their franchise to expand. I'm sure the business side of it was fruitful enough for Sony to still have their hand in a piece of the revenue that the other platforms will have. Seeing as Sony San Diego develops for the game. I'm sure they (SIE San Diego) will develop for the Xbox. The Switch is a different tho. We'll see if they will develop for Switch as well. Exciting news either way.
@Octane Yeah it seems a deal was made between Sony and MLB. As you see Sony's name and some of it's developer's are still tied to the "Show" franchise. I don't know how true that is that Sony is still involved, but it looks that way. Sony did say that you will start seeing MP/mulitplayer titles go multiplatform. I guess this was one of the examples of it. This is great news for Xbox and Switch owners. The Show is definitely the best baseball game I've ever played (realism). I still have a soft spot for Super Mario Baseball for the Wii. We need one for the Switch.
@NEStalgia What is Sony paying MS for in terms of streaming? They already have a streaming service that was out long before XCloud and such. Did I miss something?
I don't want to be THAT guy, but can't we chalk that up to optimization? The PS4/Xbox One are much more powerful hardware, so it should have run very smooth and clean on those versions as well.
Shout out to the Switch tho! Loving the attention it gets and deserves.
@FullbringIchigo Then I stand corrected. Thank you for the article. Hopefully JYB can make the character into his own and make it fit. He's a well polished voice actor, so I have faith.
@FullbringIchigo Not sure why you wrote the first paragraph to me. I understand the Vic Mignogna situation.
Now to actual reply. It would be a plausible theory that Sony delegated a termination filing to Funi. However, I haven't seen anything saying that it was Sony that did this. Funi for sure. Although Sony owns Funi, I believe Sony lets Funi conduct their own investigation and let's them do their own HR work. It's why you saw Funi making the tweets and posts about him getting fired. If you have anything about Sony being the ones that decided this, please post it.
@Ludovsky Absolutely. One thing I've noticed about Nintendo over the years is that no matter when they launch a console, it's never in direct competition with the other 2. I'm not saying this as a negative. I'm saying that Switch, PS, and Xbox don't eat into each other's sales. Well at least the Switch and a secondary console and vice versa. PS and Xbox are definitely in direct competition with one another. Nintendo has a great thing going with the Switch. They really don't need to bother with a new generation console to "keep up". For me personally, Nintendo was always a secondary console for me until the Switch dropped. Now I play both PS and Switch equally...easily. I do show my Xbox love, but not as much as Switch and PS.
All Nintendo has to do at this point is keep launching compelling titles. That's why Nintendo is unique in this scenario with their hardware. Going hybrid was genius.
@BorderlineJon It's so much to do in that game. It's definitely one of THEE best games I've ever played. Very easy to get immersed in Hyrule like you're actually there. I'm with ya on that OCD thing with having to complete and get everything. I'm like that too.
@Ludovsky The PS4 is in it's 6th year. Well...come the 13th Nov it will be officially 6 years old. So technically it's a 5 year old console at the moment.
Anyway, the Switch is an anomaly. It has completely made folks forget about the blunder in sales that was the Wii U. I feel like the Switch is certainly going to climb in revenue. I'm excited to see the lifetimes of the Switch in a couple of years.
@shock_trooper Right. That's the same thing I just said.
Anyway, I hope we get the new Metroid game before we get the new Zelda. (As awesome as BoTW was) Most of us have been waiting a good while for a new Metroid.

@FullbringIchigo Then I stand corrected. Thank you for the article.
Hopefully JYB can make the character into his own and make it fit. He's a well polished voice actor, so I have faith.
Re: Nintendo Switch Has Now Outsold The Mighty PlayStation 3 In Japan
@smashboy2000 It was sarcasm.
Re: Dragon Ball FighterZ DLC Reveals Controversial Voice Actor's Replacement
@FullbringIchigo Not sure why you wrote the first paragraph to me. I understand the Vic Mignogna situation.
Now to actual reply. It would be a plausible theory that Sony delegated a termination filing to Funi. However, I haven't seen anything saying that it was Sony that did this. Funi for sure. Although Sony owns Funi, I believe Sony lets Funi conduct their own investigation and let's them do their own HR work. It's why you saw Funi making the tweets and posts about him getting fired. If you have anything about Sony being the ones that decided this, please post it.
Re: Dragon Ball FighterZ DLC Reveals Controversial Voice Actor's Replacement
@Kisame83 Just fyi this isn't on Sony. It's on Funi. I know Sony owns Funi, but it is them (Funi) that fired the voice actor.
Re: Nintendo's New Tokyo Store Is Looking Great, Here's A New Range Of Super Mario Merch
Damn I wish we had that here in the west. I would love to purchase all of that Mario goodness!
Re: Nintendo Switch Has Now Sold 41.67 Million Units Worldwide, First Switch Lite Totals Revealed
Re: Nintendo Reconfirms Release Windows For Upcoming Major Switch Games
@BorderlineJon It's so much to do in that game. It's definitely one of THEE best games I've ever played. Very easy to get immersed in Hyrule like you're actually there. I'm with ya on that OCD thing with having to complete and get everything. I'm like that too.
Re: Nintendo Switch Has Now Sold 41.67 Million Units Worldwide, First Switch Lite Totals Revealed
Re: Nintendo Reconfirms Release Windows For Upcoming Major Switch Games
@shock_trooper Right. That's the same thing I just said.
Anyway, I hope we get the new Metroid game before we get the new Zelda. (As awesome as BoTW was) Most of us have been waiting a good while for a new Metroid.
Re: PlayStation 4 Just Overtook Wii's Lifetime Sales
@Edu23XWiiU Just wow....
