Nah MK8 all day. I will be getting Watch Dogs at a much later date for the PS4, but MK8 has my full undivided attention at the moment! WOOOOOOOOO!! Yes I'm bias for this game and I admit it!
@BinaryFragger It's already doing well on PS3. Sold millions on the 360. I'm going to say that it will do good on the PS4, Vita, and XB1. Not as good as their predecessors, but good nonetheless.
@stretch90 Well the Wii being in SD and jumping to HD with the Wii U is big, but not huge. The games still looked great even in SD. Anyway, the arguments that Wii U fans always say is that the gamepad is what makes the Wii U a more "prominent" buy. While I do agree with that sentiment, the XB1 has the Kinect. In that regard, it's an entity that extends to it's console like the gamepad does for the Wii U. Another thing to note is that, yes the jump from PS3 may not be huge, but it has become way more powerful. Just like the X1. No need to silently down play it.
The Wii U actually does better in America than any other territory. The PS4 exceeded the Wii U's lifetime sales and the amount of sales it's done in Japan in half a year. Wait a minute...we just established that. Disregard that.
I do agree that the Wii U has the better selection of games, however ,I also have to say that it did get a year head start on the other 2 for their great library of games. The odds is going to even up when 1st party from Sony and MS start piling up on top of 3rd party. Then again, saying the Wii U has the best selection of games out of all of them is also subjective from a technical standpoint. I do agree that it does though.
@stretch90 So what do you think about the jump from Wii to Wii U or 360 to X1? Are those 2 is or isn't as significant as latter?
To those that are thinking this is DOOM for the PS4...think again! As some has stated earlier, consoles are starting to become less relevant in Japan. They're all about portables and smart devices now more than ever. ALSO, the fact that the PS4 did their numbers in 6 months speaks volumes of how well it's doing.
Unfortunately the Wii U still has some hurdles to climb before it really can compete with the PS4 in the sales front. The Wii U is such a fun system and capable. So don't take this as I'm saying the PS4 is better. I will never say it's better because it's subjective to the gamer's taste. I will say that the Wii U has the most promising line up of games this year though. No doubt!
@StarDust4Ever I loved that commercial. Every time it came on, I ran to the tv. I was like 14/15 at the time. I definitely agree that it's the best Ninty commercial thus far.
Who gives a darn if the game is a 9. Is that somehow a failure of a game now? We're measuring how good or great a game is by whether or not it gets a 9 or 10? For the longest time I thought getting a 9 still makes the game a MUST HAVE and phenomenal across the board. The game could be a 7 and I would still get it.
I'm in if it's Nintendo. I'll be 32 tomorrow and I haven't let go my kid side at all. Like @Yorumi said, even if the game isn't that good....I'll still buy the figurines just because. LOL

@Daemonite Unfortunately he's right. The situations for Rayman Legends and Bayonetta 2 are completely different. The thing is, Bayonetta 2 would not exist at all if it wasn't for Nintendo. Nintendo paid for the development of the game. This will NEVER see a multiplat release. Just on Wii U.
@PrincessEevee9 I think Hyrule Warriors will release in the summer in Japan, not anywhere else yet. I hope so though. I don't think of Hyrule Warriors as a "major" release, although it probably is. I'm looking forward to it.

When I saw the post count, I knew this thread would be interesting to say the least. So many butthurt folks from both sides (Nintendo and non-Nintendo fans)! Funny though that non-Nintendo fans would be on this site where Nintendo is glorified from it's fans. There's only a few objective ones here that isn't completely bias for Nintendo.
I for one enjoy Nintendo games. Which is why I have all of my Nintendo systems to date. However, I'm not going to bash or downplay the others because Nintendo isn't doing so hot in the sales race. The console (Wii U) is a great one. MK8 will definitely be my game for the summer. No other game from any platform will take precedence. Hehehe Yes I'm biased for that game.

To be honest I got all 3 on both systems. I can tell you that the SNES version was far superior. Sure on the first MK it was uncensored and the music was better, but the SNES version played and looked closer to the arcade original versus the Genesis. So only the first MK can be arguably better on Genesis. However, the MK's after that was DEFINITELY better on SNES. No question, hands down!
I have a strong disdain for NoA as of lately. They are a#$backwards and behind the other entities. Not a good look. Don't know what Reggie and the others are doing, but we are definitely not on the same level as NoE, and of course Japan.
@Einherjar Maybe it's you that has no idea what it takes to manufacture a console if all you think the other 2 has is bells and whistles. That type of development takes years to do. Just like the Wii U has. No one here should be expecting a new console this early. Maybe in another 6 years or so. Not now though.
@TheRealThanos Unfortunately you're right. As much as I would want a GC remix, that won't happen this gen. However, anything up to the 64 could and should happen, if the fans show interest tomorrow and buy NES Remix 2.

@Ichiban I have to agree here. I had Fatal Frame 1 and 2 on the PS2 and it was AWESOME! I have to challenge anyone to play that game by yourself at night...in the dark. It's crazy. The gamepad alone makes it worthwhile. I mean the possibilites with the camera on it is enough to excite anyone. As of lately, Team Koei has been localizing a lot of games. So I actually do have hope that it will see a western release.
I love NES Remix and think it's a well made game of our favorites. However, I'm calling b.s. on it "needing" the Wii U's power. Seriously?! It's an 8 bit game that I'm sure the Gamecube, or even the Nintendo 64 could do. Wow I didn't know this existed. I have to say that this is quite impressive. I mean wow this game looks incredibly good. It's well polished versus the originals and seems to play great. Those costumes though. WOW! I wish Nintendo would have came up with those.
Please understand....that this is frickin' AWESOME!! I honestly don't know why some of you are upset. Between the end of May through the summer, most of us will be playing Mario Kart 8. I'll still be online even when Smash U comes. Mario Kart is just that dang on fun.
Also as some folks pointed out, it's a great business strategy to separate the 2. The 3DS is going to move huge software. Oh and of course the Wii U will have exclusive modes that wouldn't be possible on the 3DS. Fans please rejoice. This is a good thing. I'll have both copies.
Well I own every single Mario Kart to date with the exception of the new one coming on the 30th May (which I will have). I wasn't lying when I said that Mario Kart was one of my favorite franchises. This will be awesome!
I have yet to be beaten in this game. Yes I owned it as a kid, and I own the Wii VC version of it. This game is fun as all hell and I'm still a beast at it. Over 20 plus years and this game is still fun. I always customized my players for my team, but I can work with even the weakest powered player. The one guy from India was always the longest to take out. LOL
I actually can't stop thinking about Mario Kart. Ever since I saw the new vids, it's been on my mind. Hahaha No game as of recent years has done that before they were released. It would seem we are getting 32 tracks. 16 retro-revised tracks, and 16 new ones. I'm stoked for this. So stoked!

I could have played that game competitively if it was available for tournies at the time. I didn't want to spoil myself with the video of gameplay, but dangit I couldn't help myself. LOL

There are a lot of games I'm looking forward to on the Wii U. However, the poll specifically implied "the most" meaning one. So I of course I chose MK8. That will be my game for the summer. I'm not even purchasing Watch Dogs because I will be on MK8.

Disney animated movies never disappoint me. They are the most original with the most original songs. Love it! I have Frozen on blu ray, but haven't seen it. My kids saw it and they LOVE IT! I have to admit I liked this version of the song. LOL

@SCAR392 I' m willing to bet that it is 1080p. If not, then it really doesn't matter. This game will be in heavy rotation for months to come. I feel bad for any other game coming in around or between months of big game releases. Gosh I love MK!

There are a lot of games I'm looking forward to on the Wii U. However, the poll specifically implied "the most" meaning one. So I of course I chose MK8. That will be my game for the summer. I'm not even purchasing Watch Dogs because I will be on MK8.

Disney animated movies never disappoint me. They are the most original with the most original songs. Love it! I have Frozen on blu ray, but haven't seen it. My kids saw it and they LOVE IT! I have to admit I liked this version of the song. LOL
