Then make them with smaller teams and less copypaste content. The best games in history were made with much smaller teams. Not every game needs to have 100000000000000 polygons on a trash can.

Also, how is it complex if there is currently no budget for story and writing as it's all written in a tram on the last day?

Same with music - western games dont even have it anymore.

That's the reason western games are so far behind Japan, with no fighting chance.

@Morsel I still remember the fortress protected by the wind. Retreating your melee cover before they got crushed by a giant ball required serious reflexes and a good bit of luck, as you are locked in a certain rhythm and cannot break it, so if you juststarted a new beat when it appeared, you were basically cooked, as there was no time to beat it perfectly, wait for Patapons to respond, and then beat the retreat song in time

A good farming game is always a big win.

Especially with marriage option.

I haven't completed the epilogue for RF4 yet, but I'll get it eventually

One thing I would disagree with, "Farming sims aren’t exactly known for their rich plotlines" - Older Harvest Moon games are really ripe with great stories. They are much more "slice of life" than "explosions and flying guts", but they are here.
