@Zaruboggan Completely agree with you omg, the first 20 or so minutes of the film are genuinely really gripping but once they enter the Mushroom Kingdom it kinda just becomes A Troll in Central Park 2 and barely anything that happens during it sticks with you outside of sheer spectacle and a mild chuckle here and there. Hoping this sequel actually tackles giving the characters more depth and it's not like Despicable Me where the characters stay still and stagnant forever after the second filmđ
@tektite_captain charging people 80$ for a game isnât inherently evil, but you know what is?
-Refusing to credit your composers and developers for big movies and video game releases -Suing other devs for simply being inspired by your ideas -Having your ceo fire and blacklist employees for bringing up union suggestions to him and claiming they âmade him sadâ as an excuse -Treating contract developers like sweatshop toymakers
Maybe DONâT charge people 70$-80$ for your games and go after developers in court for simply being inspired by you if yaâ want people to maintain good will and not resort to stuff like emulation then
We should be focusing less on combating switch 2 scalpers and more on combating the greedy obese slimeball politicians and CEOs who keep pushing for the common people to pay exorbitant prices for this stuff. People hoarding these consoles to sell them on third party sites wouldn't be NEARLY as much of a problem if they were just affordable and easy to obtain.
This wouldnât be that bad if they werenât making you pay almost a thousand dollars for the console and games themselves already. Then again Iâm not surprised considering Doug Bowser is just Mr Burns IRL sođ¤ˇ
Was gonna be upset but honestly the digital discount is fair enough for me, especially considering the switch 2 has a black hole worth of storage right off the bat lmao. Sure having cases for games is nice, but also in this current fat-cat run economy spending less money is worth the sacrifice imo.
I wanna love this game so badly but the weapon system is just god awful, one of the worst of any run and gun i've ever played. Everytime you die, your weapon power gets reset to 1, which doesn't sound bad, but your level 1 firepower is so hellishly pitiful that even something as simple as a thin door you need to blast through to proceed takes I KID YOU NOT 10 whole seconds or more, so when you take that and try shooting enemies who have more health than that, it just becomes an unfun slog of an experience where you cant even lay a scratch on even the smallest of enemies, but they can rip through your life bar and kill you effortlessly. Play the turrican games or any of the run n guns over on the sega genesis instead, they're all way more worth your time and a lot of them like ultracore and contra hard corps are already available on the switch.
The C stands for coin, obviously. Pressing it flips a coin in game that depending on what it lands on either bricks your system or gives you invincibility
This guy is like the Zack Snyder of video games, as in his work isnât anything groundbreaking or revolutionary, but his followers just rave like deranged cultists if he does so much as just blow his nose on a livestream. Like he literally just went âoh neat theyâre doing a Nintendo direct:pâ and immediately people think weâre gonna get like. Super Mario 64 odyssey ultimate Kirby super smash star 4 feat. half life 3, so when the direct inevitably isnt the most crazy thing in the world, everyone will just be like âGRAAAAH THIS SUCKED WORST DIRECT EVERâ and ignore all the actually cool announcements like they always do đ
@jsty3105 It's not the titles themselves for me, i shouldve worded my original comment differently I admit. It's the fact nintendo continuously takes near-year long gaps with adding games to these services even though the games with VERY few exceptions are always really simple stuff that doesn't warrant such a long wait. People always say it's licensing issues because nintendo has to work things out with companies, but i cry false on that. Way smaller companies like Hamster and GOG with a fraction of a fraction of the money Nintendo has are able to work deals out with these same companies for THEIR legacy stuff at an INFINITELY quicker and more reasonable rate with harder hitting games, by comparison there's no excuse for this baffling dripfeed approach Nintendo is taking with NSO.
@Atariboy thatâs not the point. The point is Nintendo needs to not release like 4 games every 6 months and actually give a consistent supply of titles coming like what arcade archives does instead of this drip feeding BS
Youâre telling me you donât like Lusamine turning into a badass jellyfish monster only to do nothing but sit in the background as set dressing while you fight her pokemon like literally every other normal training battle???đąđąđąđą
As long as we get actually cool games out of this and not âLEGO POP THE BRICK LEGO FORTNITESTARS LOOTBOX BUY LEGO CRYSTALS x100 FOR ONLY 99.99$ FEATURING BORED APE AVATARS AND INNOVATIVE BUILT IN AI ART ENGINESâ Iâm fine with it lol.
oh no*retroarch*ooooooo!!! this serious*Delta*ly sucks, Stuff like this is doom*snes9x*ing the retro market scene, and they seriously need to *raspberrypi*cut it out or else things'll be hopeless! cougcoughcoigfh9fu sorry guys do i have a sore throat or what lol
I want nothing but for this company to go under. The year long shipping delays are one thing, but on top of that, they straight up LIE to their customer's faces FLAT OUT on a CONSTANT basis. I ordered their Turrican games physically for almost 200 dollars, because their ceo and the listing on the website said the physical cartridge version would be the only medium the turrican anthology collections would be released on, whereas digital storefronts would simply get the inferior Turrican Flashback. So I waited almost 2 YEARS for the things to arrive in my mailbox, and when i FINALLY got them, literally less then 2 days afterwards they silently dropped the Turrican Anthologies onto the switch eshop despite LITERALLY SAYING PRIOR that they would only EVER be released on cartridge and they had no plans to go digital with them. They did this with the Wonder Boy collection too, and in fact were so bad with keeping promises with their Asha in Monster world release, that they straight up lost the rights to selling it and the game (with the bonus of the og monster world iv being playable they originall promised as "exclusive" to their physical version) instead became widely purchaseable on Amazon and other outlets under a different publisher who actually knows what they're doing. I can respect wanting to make physical versions of obscure old games and whatnot, but when you do it in this insane snake-oil-salesman-level way of straight up lying to your consumers, that's where I draw the line and begin to despise you.
@Serpenterror the marvel rivals instance was them laying off a development ASSISTANCE team, as far as we know the games main developer is still perfectly safe and sound
@Serpenterror if it clears things up for ya, all sources are pointing to this game being a metroidvania like symphony of the night, so the amounts of hits and combos enemies need are likely just due to it being early on in the game!
All I want from this is NO overt ties to Sonic Prime whatsoever. That show is a worthless pile of slop and I'd dread to see subsequent Sonic media follow in its footsteps.
Both of these suck lmao, itâs like that meme of the box arts with all the new Dante devil may cry funky mode tags on it but completely genuine, why are all 3 of the main characters combined smaller than the ratings logo alone đđđđđđ
As much as I like Capcom as a company for the most part, these showcases of theirs are always GENERATIONALLY bad, to the point I've made it a life goal to never tune in to a single one of them ever again. Y'all complaining about a Nintendo Direct being "mediocre" or "mid" haven't experienced jack-all until you've sat through an E3 conference where the final announcement is advertising Street Fighter V E-sports for 15 minutesđđđ
Watch Nintendo take this down so it doesnât âinterfereâ with their 70$ port of 3d land to the switch that adds literally no new content and has certain visual effects missing from the original version and a bug that makes the game impossible in multiplayerđ
maybe if the US didn't want everymiddle-to-low working class citizen to spend hundreds of dollars on the smallest of things nowadays this wouldn't have happened, especially with the 70 dollar price increase, lmao.
@TheDreamingHawk Oh dang u made ur own review site for indie games? Is it still up and running? Cause as a heavy indie game afficianado I'd kill to see what you've covered!
Going through the """"shovelware"""" section and aside from the obvious ai mobile game slop there are a LOOOOT of genuinely passionately made games on here that werent pumped out for a cheap buck. The Squidlit games, Panic Porcupine, Murtop, Pixel Game maker series, Tomomi, it goes on and on. I'd highly recommend either scrapping or reworking this filter thing cause this could genuinely qualify for a false advertising lawsuit, or at the very least is a seriously dishonest and slimy way of going about an eshop.
