@PineappleLake DUDE OMG Juiced is genuinely one of my fav 2d indie platformers like I have SO many good memories playing it back in high school on my switch and all the constant wacky boss battles and stuff, the fact the ppl at this site consider it “shovelware” is genuinely insulting and does your game a HUGE disservice imo.

@Bunkerneath gonna be real Nintendo consoles barring the GameCube and gbc/gba have always kinda had a dull color palette to them, the Nintendo entertainment system is literally just a tiny office fax machine when it comes to the colors and shape lol. Plus I’m positive there’ll be all sorts of silly fun colorful joy con designs released for the thing as it goes on.

Literally this is the most inoffensive leak I’ve ever seen and I don’t know why people are so furious at this when FAR worse incidents have been happening recently like the constant horrible attacks on insomniac games or the endless personal data leaks that plague the industry.

i wouldnt even hate nso sm if nintendo just actually updated their libraries instead of leaving them to collect dust for 2 years before randomly dropping 2 games and leaving, and don't pull that "oh its licensing cost issues!!!!" excuse on me either, nintendo is at their absolute richest and they were able to get massive libraries for vc back in THE 2000's with no problem. there is no excuse for this dripfeeding.

I'm so sick of this like at this point if you mess up a remaster of a game or something similar to the point it's genuinely worse than the original your team should face actual serious repercussions for it (unless it came about through crunch or exec interference obviously). Making an updated port of a game is one of the easiest things possible mesing it up is like flunking at a preschool art project like. how do you even do that.

Team Ninja has always kinda been the "kid who falls asleep standing up at baseball games while occasionally waking up and catching a ball" of these action game devs. When they make something good, they make something REALLY good, but most of the time they kinda just flounder their releases and pump out games that aren't GOD-AWFUL, but are moreso just really dissapointing and mediocre. Hopefully this time around they actually have something cool up their sleeves and not another ninja gaiden master collection lol, I sure do love psp versions that remove everything that made the game fun and put in weird creepy tit physic manipulation segments in that are so out of pocket the head behind the series has to be like "are the guys working on this ok?" instead:D!!1

Why do people ALWAYS assume with stuff like this that just because theyve had stereotypes means they're just. dead. like they're gone forever theyre some cursed ancient eldritch mothdronaruian demon artifact you can't touch or else curse the human realm forever. Literally making a punch-out game without stereotypes is the easiest thing in the world, just lean into the absurdity with characters like Alice and Ape III and Mad Clown. It is such a non-issue that's insanely easy to fix and I can guarantee you that it sure ain't the reason Nintendo hasn't touched the franchise for so long, they embrace and flaunt mario enemies and baddies constantly and you could argue a lot of those goobers have the rubberhose donut lips initially popularized by menstrel shows and the like, but they still use them because it's literally a massive non issue that affects noone. The reason they likely haven't touched punch-out in so long is because they simply view it like F-Zero; a franchise they still value as part of their company, but don't see any reason to give it new entries as their other fighting style games like kirby clash, smash bros, and all the fist swinging boxing sport games are more popular. It's unfortunate, yes, but it's also just how companies work with their IPs. And it's not like Punch-Out is dead forever or smth, people were saying Metroid was dead for good during the 2010's, only for nintendo to pull the insane triple whammy with dread, prime remastered, and Prime 4 with Sylux as the main villain. I'm positive someday we'll see Punch-Out make a comeback, it's just Nintendo is more interested in doing other stuff currently. It's nothing deeper than that and it certainly isn't because of the wii game having the tamest stereotypes I've ever seen in a piece of media, that's for sure lol.

Also like. Come on now be FR. A drunk, now-long ex employee of the studio who made a wii game almost like 15 years ago now is never going to be a remotely reliable source, "My dad's friend worked as a janitor in George Lucas' mansion" level BS right there😂

@Not_Soos DKC3 at least has good atmosphere and great boss fights. Returns has its merits but at the end of the day it’s bogged down by bad character designs that look like clip art, annoying gimmick segments that overstay their welcome, and for the most part none of the atmosphere that made the first 3 games or even tropical freeze great.

It’s not a bad game by any means, but it’s easily the dkc game I hold in the lowest regard

im not paying 60+ dollars for the weakest donkey kong country game with no quality of life improvements or additional content. This should've been 20 dollars MAX.

@garfreek meh. I can get all this and more for cheaper and more often than not free on various platforms. and getting these games wouldve been cool if nintendo didnt take nearly a year between every game drop no matter how big or small it is.

OBJECTIVELY should not be a near 40 dollars more than the base plan, it should've been part of the base plan at the same cost. From its ammount of game breaking n64 bugs, absolutely minimal additions in terms of multiplayer, and library of gba and sega genesis games that get updated between sparcer time periods than count dracula's ressurections, there is no excuse for why ANYONE should have to pay 50-70 DOLLARS `A YEAR` for this in an increasingly money-scarce climate, especially when the alternatives Nintendo hates SO much on pc run games so much better for FREE, not to mention these games were cheaper and ran better on the wii, wii u and 3ds as well via the virtual console. No matter how much of a nintendo/sega fan you are, they have no excuse for this.

this is cool but id rather they put the improved rereleases the dkc trilogy got on gba first before anything else, all 3 of those games are MASSIVE improvements over the snes originals in numerous ways that make them worth checking out.

How about Nintendo sues the entire gachapon industry and Sony individually for every single Ghostbusters film and show next, since they also infringe on the totally original nintendo made idea of creatures in an small device for catching/releasing😂

@Steel76 There were still mediocre to bad films like garbage pail kids, mac and me, double dragon, Robocop 3, Superman 3, Theodore rex, etc. Kids entertainment, animated or live action has always been a coin toss in terms of quality lol.
