Re: Fire Emblem Warriors Adds A Significant Character From The Past

@BensonUii I'm with you in praying for Hector, I also really want Ike but considering this is Team Ninja the fact they managed to fit in the two most popular female characters but no word on the most popular male is not a surprise 😂.
But I'm still super stoked for the game, my faves from Birthright, Conquest, Awakening and SD are here plus Lyn to represent GBA FE (although I would have preferred Hector, Eliwood or Roy) now I just need that Celica leak to be true and Ike and I'll be incredibly happy with the roster.

@Malcrash Caeda and Navarre were also shown bringing the total SD characters up to 4 with Marth, Caeda, Tiki, Navarre so far.
Meaning this is Fire Emblem Warriors Awakening, Fates, Shadow Dragon and More from across the series!

The joke is officially tired now and seen as the Leak that said Lyn would be revealed in the direct also said Anna and Celica would also be playable means the list of games being featured is becoming too long to fit into a snarky comment.

Re: Video: Feast Your Eyes On This Gamescom 2017 Fire Emblem Warriors Trailer

@FriedSquid to be fair Fates is three games with 2 lots of 'main Lord' characters. Really they should have said 'we are focussing on characters from Birthright, Revelation, Conquest, Awakening and Shadow Dragon'. If there was just Xander, Ryoma and Corrin people would complain that they only put in the bare minimum, if they focussed on Hoshido or Nohr people would complain about that, if they put in say, Keaton instead of Leo people would complain about main characters being left out. People want to say they want more games being represented but there's really 5 games bein represented here and people are already complaining about minor characters not being included so if they included Tellius, Jugdral etc. The issue would have been much worse.

Re: Video: Unboxing and Testing the New Nintendo 2DS XL

I've got this on order as my New 3ds has serious light bleed on one of the screens and a problem with the thing that holds the stylus in meaning the stylus constantly either hangs out or falls out. Plus I want to upgrade to a bigger screen and don't mind the lack of 3D.

Plus Alex is super cute

Re: Lego City Undercover Box Reveals a Mandatory 13GB Install

Peterjr1

This is a mess. Nintendo justified the switch to cards with the fact they can hold large capacities of data with little to no mandatory install meaning that the low in built storage is not an issue. Now so companies can make more of a profit using smaller cards, the consumer is paying for it with large mandatory installs on a tiny hard drive.

Re: Pokkén Tournament to Get Another New Fighter in Arcades

Peterjr1

Cool for the arcade players, not cool for Wii U players. The roster at release was too small and please please please do not wish for more Switch ports. Pretty much my entire Wii U library is getting ports by the looks of it, I'm just playing the Splatoon game will be a sequel rather than a port. Pokken getting an expanded port would once again make me question why I ever spent any money on the Wii U when all my games get improved 3ds or Switch Ports.

Re: Feature: Catch Up With the Animal Crossing Direct and New Leaf's Fresh Features

I bought amiibo figures and cards for HHD (which I love) and for Amiibo Festival (which I love less but still play to chill) plus I have Zelda line amiibo from smash and splatoon amiivo so this really is a free update to me and the only cost will probably be for a couple of the new campsite series and the sanrio ones so I'm satisfied. I'm actually impressed with how many games my amiibo collection work with so I don't feel I've wasted any money.

Re: Pokémon Sun and Moon Pre-Load Now Available on the 3DS eShop

Peterjr1

Still annoyed about the release delay for the UK meaning I'll probably have seen everything by the time I get it but oh well. Only buy a few things like monster hunter and AC games digital instead of physical simply because the price is too high compared to Amazon every time. I would prefer to get digital in most cases but I can't justify paying £5-£10 more each time for the convenience of easy carrying.

Re: Monster Hunter XX (Double Cross) Heading to 3DS in Japan

Peterjr1

DLC for the West would make so much sense, £15/$18 would be a good price point. It would cost them less than making packaged games and take less time to localize. Just really hoping this comes over as I love monster hunter and the new dragon looks so cool as well as Aerial Prowler (maybe my new main).
