@Yazan I think it is a little underwhelming, though I'll probably dip in for BoxBoxBoy.
Sent me this about 4 hours ago, wasn't impressed, NoE disappointment confirmed.
Worthless. MyNintendo is worthless. Switch better change the game or I'm switching over to PS4.
Thought there may be some decent discounts on some games I don't already own, but it's rubbish as usual.
Well it certainly looks like Nintendo have saved the best for another time. I don't think any of these are cheaper than other stores.
Hm...not interesting deals. Ah, I forgot. I play physically as usual.
@ThomasBW84 Probably the only one for me too.
I think Star Fox Guard is well worth £9, but in general these are the kind of deals they should have on all the time, not for a Black Friday special.
I live in Germany. The Amazon Cyber Monday week is utterly disappointing from a Nintendo fan perspective. At least, I thought, Nintendo would offer some good discounts, but again, nothing special... 4 games each. Can't believe it.
It really feels als if Nintendo doesn't want to us to buy too many games (especially on Wii U), to keep us all hungry for the Switch launch.
Looks like I'll be saving my money for something else then.
lol.
Terrible. Luckily PSN has an awesome sale going on, so I'm not too let down.
Starfox guard codes can often be picked up for a fiver in bricks and mortar stores so not a very good discount in my opinion
Very disapointed !
Hope I was in the US for all their black friday and Atlus discounts...
Too numb to care
I'm sure BoxBoxBoy will be on sale on NA before the year end
Shame there is no third party stuff like the USA have with Sega and Lego. Will pick up Yoshi and possibly Tokyo or starfox
Pullblox it is for me
It's just so brilliant. I'm so happy for all you Nintendo fans. You all have been waiting for this and now you have it. Enjoy
Wow this is a joke
I was gunning for twilight princess as that's the one game I wanted to play through again.
Small list but with the right item for me:)
Last year wasn't a great black Friday sale in Europe but Christmas was pretty good. Hopefully the same this year.
Awfulness confirmed. And look at them only running for a few days. As if they're afraid there'll be a run on the eShop. Don't worry Nintendo, your digital vaults are safe.
Got all the WiiU games, both Box Boy games plus Wooly World & Paper Jam. The rest I'm not interested in. This is usually the case as Nintendo just put out 2-3 of their highest sellers for sale. So all that benefits from these sales are the people who normally don't buy games, not us that support Nintendo in a major way. Which is a shame...
Hyrule Warriors Legends - £24.49 / €27.99 (30% off)
hahaha...
Funny stuff, anyway, even the limited edition, new, sealed, is 24.95 euro, on amazon ... im really starting to believe this is some sort of internal nintendo joke/experiment, they want to see how far they can go until nobody buys anything anymore digital.
.......BoxBoxBoy it is! Terrible sale.
Ridiculous sale. Does nobody at Nintendo own a Sony or Microsoft console? They might see how sales should be done.
really? is that the best they could come up with.....very disappointed!
I was expecting (or at least hoping) a lot more, but anyway seems a good time to pick up the 2 BoxBoy games...
It hurts.
40% rip-off.
I join everyone else in saying that the sale is pointless. These games are all cheaper in physical form and have been for ages. The original idea that digital content meant less costs for developers and cheaper games for consumers has clearly missed Nintendo. Their digital games are crazy expensive for no clear reason
.... not much of a deal because of the original high price of the games. Cashing in on Black Friday rather than participating in the event.
Underwhelming to say the least. PS Store currently has a black friday sale (even in europe) that makes this seem like a joke. Nintendo should really step up their game when it comes to pricing.
Meh. There was a game I was hoping to be on sale but it's not. Smaller amount of games than I thought there would be really.
Would it kill them to just put all of their (as in Nintendo owned) games on sale for one day?
Disappointing.
Sony does what nintendont ever do.
PlayStation networks Black Friday makes nintendoes one look like a Friday night comedy special.
I was hopying for a discount on "Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Sprits of Justice".
Those discounts are terrible: 2/10
Nope.
And another stumbling block to like nintendo as a company. If it wasnt for some of their games...
I just wonder what the message is here and with mynintendo. Does nintendo think nintendo fans are fools who buy everything nintendo puts its stamp on and are happy if they just get something, like an animal crossing wallpaper? Being a nintendo fan seems to become the toughest thing...
They're not as bad as some people seem to say.
BUT. In Switzerland, the eshop prices are way off compared to retail price (way worse than in France). I would be happy to play some paper jam bros, but the 30% only brings the price up to the normal retail price. I just don't get it.
EDIT : I mean, how seriously dumb is this ? The "sale" price is still 50% more than retail.
That said... TOKYO MIRAGE SESSIONS #FE is not cheap but I'm not seeing that cheaper elsewhere. Plus it looks fun.
That's it then. Buying a Ps4
Nothing exciting at all really. Having said that, Starfox guard probably won't be any cheaper at any point and pullblox world has been on my wish list for three years now. May as well buy just to be done with it and have them ready for another time. I've finally finished XCX now so my back log it going to get some attention!!
While I was expecting more than this, it is still better than the regular deals we've been getting lately, and Black Friday isn't as big of a deal in Europe compared to the US, so they may be saving most of the offers for Christmas/New Year sales.
This is rather poor given the competition elsewhere. I really think for me a PS4 would be a better purchase than Switch. The WiiU has had such a short cycle with long frustrating barren periods in the release schedule. I don't think I can face the same thing again!
BoxBoy! was a solid 7/10, can't go wrong with more of the same at that price... so BoxBoxBoy! for me.
I'm usually not one to complain, but this sale if awful.
Wack! Saying that I've yet to pick up BoxBoxBoy!, so I guess now's a good time.
I was hoping for some VC discounts. Theres not a lot there, is there?
@riChchestM Bought it new and sealed from TheGameCollection for £30 not even 2 months ago. Yes in general its price is quite high but it will be found cheap again soon I'm sure.
@SLIGEACH_EIRE Nice deal. Unfortunately that site only has 8 Wii U games at the moment, not including that.
Disappointment, like non-alcoholic beer.
Failsales like this kind if hurt my love for Nintendo. And I'm afraid they likely won't treat us any better with the Switch. It's strange thinking that one year on Xbox One gave me more excitement and surprises than the Wii U did in 4.
But seriously though, sales don't really determine the quality of the console and it's games, but it does add to the overall experience. And Xbox One and PS4 have far better deals which turn their customers into fans.
Nintendo should know better with their small Wii U installed base and treat the loyalists with amazing deals instead! If the console failed, why not spread around the good games to make even more fans!?
Hmm, oughta pick up Boxboxboy, just finished the first one.
You know it's a poor sale when BoxBoxBoy, a pretty cheap game is the most popular thing on sale.
Those are some God-aweful "deals".
NoE what are y'all doing...? NOA IS WHERE ITS AT REGGIE DOES IT AGAIN
NoA PARTY AWWWWEWE YEAAAAAAAAHHHH. We are ballin' over here, and finally too, NoE was having a good run but it's our turn now son
I think those boys over at Nintendo are Trolling with this sale.
Those really are pathetic but at least I'll be picking up BoxBoy and BoxBoxBoy. Star Fox Guard is currently £3.99 at SimplyGames if anyone actually wants that.
Big Deal! Utter rubbish
If they're not going to get into the spirit of things, don't bother. Don't they see the feedback they get on their "sales"? So.
Nintendo has forsaken us!!!
As a heads up, you can get new physical copies of two of these games for cheaper on Amazon UK. Hyrule Warriors Legends at £21 and Star Fox Zero at £20. Also you can get a code for Star Fox Guard for £5.52.
Also I got my physical copy of Tokyo Mirage Sessions at launch for £1 cheaper than the digital sale price through My Nintendo.
Compare this to the North American sale. Wtf.
@Peach64 thanks I have just ordered Starfox guard from simply games.com £3.99 is a brilliant deal for it. I am digital only so this is great.
absolute utter dog from nintendo
@Mario_Fart No profanity, thanks.
@gigoloaunt7 No profanity, thanks.
They've gotta be joking. My god this is terrible. NOE are clueless as usual.
I feel sorely disappointed in Nintendo right now. The 3DS is my favorite console but when they have a holiday sale they should make it special, it is after all one of their chances at gaining more new customers. This is not any different from the weekly sales and I think that this is only something for those who already are fans of Nintendo (and only a few of those too at that!). I had expected at least twice as many discounts, and that the prices would be less than the physical version of the games. Hopefully they will try harder at the christmas sale.
That's pretty weak. Considering the offers for Halloween, I had expected more.
Predictably disappointing, especially when you consider the sales we're seeing on other platforms. Other platforms which will actually get my money.
LMAO! Oh God... Even NoA's deals are way better than this... This is unbelievably, astonishingly bad. It takes a concerted effort to be this terrible. Jesus...
So bad, what a disappointment. But it's my fault in believing that Nintendo is going to step up it's game.
I don't know whether to laugh or cry.
@Peach64 That right there is a small but typical example of how the eShop is overpriced. A digital code on the eShop even with a 30% discount costs £9 VS the same digital code shipped in a Wii U case for £4 from a retailer. It's such a tough decision for the consumer to make.
nintendo really do not understand the concept of flash sales and causing customers to buy on impluse.
this week I bought God of War III remastered on PS4 because of huge discount. Same with Hitman!
on android I got Final Fantasy Tactics and Limbo because of a big reduction from RRP.
I look at Wii U and 3DS sales and I am buying nothing at all. nintendo dont want me to spend my money.
pathetic sales lineup.
As pathetic as expected. Nintendo's stinginess is costing them fans.
Haha, good one, now show me the rest of the discounts. Erm... hello?
In all seriousness, I only have $108 dollars left since I bought Pokémon Sun & Moon, so I probably wouldn't have bought anything anyway.
even in the Wii U's last breath they don't offer a good eshop sale...
what a way to please fans and suppoters right?
That's it ?
Rather pathetic. I might have been tempted to buy Hyrule Warriors Legends on 3DS if the discount was higher.
I just purchased the Mega Man Collection for $7.49 and I got the Gold Coin reward for MyNintendo as if I paid full price! Just sayin'.
I had all those games, but Tokyo Mirage, so I picked that up, Beat the Beat and the remaining Hyrule Warriors DLC.
Nintendo offer so little for so much.
