I swear I've seen so many of these games with terrible graphics and basic gameplay framed by bad but 'sexy' art on the Switch eshop

I'm not supporting ANOTHER Nintendo gacha which is what this looks like so I'm not interested

It's s shame it's not very good as I've liked all the rumble games and the free to play 3DS one was actually really good with a good f2p model so I'm disappointed. I hope eventually the Switch gets a goodrumble game. I liked Quest but it only having gen 1 was very annoying

Actually the FPS and texture loading is the worst it's ever been. They've actually posted on Reddit now to say they're looking to fix it but the patch notes are lying. This happens every time they say they've made an improvement.

Usually handheld is pretty stable while docked it usually pretty bad but both have completely tanked performance wise. I love Fortnite but played 3 games before I had to stop because it was so awdul

@StephenYap3 not all games have to be continuously playable over a long time with consistent updates. It's a mostly single player platformer game, those are usually one-and-done. No one cares if this won't pull you back in because its not meant to

@Harmonie sure but SMT games have been on Nintendo Consoles for a while with 3 ds releases (Devil Survivor, Devil Survivor 2 and Strange Journey) then 7 3DS releases (Devil Summoner Overclocked, Soul Hackers, SMT IV, Persona Q, Persona Q2, Strange Journey Redux and SMT IV Apocalypse) and we have SMT V coming to Switch some time this or next year by the looks of it so a Persona or Megaten rep makes sense for smash imo

Plus, I'm pretty sure SMT 1 and 2 also released on Nintendo Consoles AND the Wii U had an SMT and Fire Emblem crossover game in TMS so yeah

I'm more hype for this than Cuphead tbh. A Zelda rhythm game is like a dream come true and the graphics look gorgeous. Between this and Links Awakening I feel almost spoiled this year

Honestly this trailer is super hype. It looks great, the story seems cool and it's integration into the P5 story through mementos is perfect. Plus, even if you don't like persona you should listen to the soundtrack on YouTube because it's genuinely amazing.

Like, the soundtrack is so good I really wish we could get some of the songs as DLC in Persona Dancing

@Mijzelffan as mostly a fan of male characters, them changing seasonals from mostly 50/50 boys to girls to 1 boy and 3 or 4 girls has been horrible. Especially on the summer banners where we got 6 bikini girls and 2 boys in swimwear. As a gay guy, the reduced male fanservice made me pay way less into the game

@Arnold-Kage yeah they removed 5 orbs from the monthly quests, removed orbs from Forging Bonds and some from Tap Battle.

Also there was the entirely RNG anniversary events which had 50 less orbs given out than last year

@puddinggirl there's direct skill powercreep in skills that used to cap at '3' being increased to '4' on new units, BST increasing over time, Armored dragons, AR lift being increased by the amount of mythic heroes on your team and their amount of merges, Surtr being released and doing an AoE damage attack for just standing there, Duma having a similar effect, PvE content such as the Legendary Hero Battles getting harder and harder to compensate for the powercreep, the majority of cool and exclusive skills being 5 star locked, the reduction in earnable orbs etc. If you don't care about these things that's cool but it's had a palpable effect for many

@bluemujika I take it you haven't seen the financial earnings reports for FEH and the recent, increasing anti-consumer elements then if you think Nintendo's only interest in these games is free advertising

I mean, what effect will that have after people have already hundreds of thousands on FEH? It's been out for two years and recently they kicked power creep into high gear, lowered the earnable orbs and made certain modes more whale-bait than before so I'll take the idea that they care about their mobile game players with a grain of salt.

They also added loot boxes to Pocket Camp after it had already received glowing reviews and it seems they've made a pretty penny off that too.

I like to see Nintendo as the good guys as much as everyone else does but they have been making Bank of the same stuff that EA and such have been doing yet Nintendo has a perfect image and I just don't see how on earth they're going to 'limit spending' in games that are fundamentally designed to bleed whales dry

Wait £30 each!? That's ridiculous! I wanted these so bad despite having an Xbox as I love playing mercenaries and raid modes and such on the go (as well as the campaigns) but that's awful pricing

@Nekonokatzen Pokémon following you is not at all off-putting to new players. It's 100% stripped out so they can get away with minor-to-no optimization of their old engine and scrape by with 20fps like they have done for years now

It literally looks like Sun and Moon blown up. That's not necessarily awful as the use of textures and land was much better in SM than Lets Go but the textures are blurry as hell overall and the floor texture for the battles is unforgivable. Pikachu looks like he's floating on a mess of green and yellow thrown at a canvas.

I'm also disappointed in the lack of overworld Pokémon and Pokémon following you. What does constantly removing features do for Nintendo apart from serving to create hype for when they bring it back?

Watch it gets justified for 'techinical reasons' while the game runs at sub-30fps, 720p like Lets Go.

I don't know, the reveal was just disappointing for me apart from the overall look of the new region

yeah I'm not buying them releasing AC and FE so closely together. Either both or one of these release dates are wrong. They must have learned their lesson after Tellius.

Selfishly, I'd already have completed KH3 by now if it was on Switch so I'd be a bit annoyed about my purchase of it for the PS4 but I would be happy for those who only have Switch.

I really really want them to get to a point where switch isn't a 'maybe in six months' system though as I own Switch, PS4 and Xbox and I want to make an informed choice on what system to buy a game on and preferably I'd like to buy it on switch for the portability. Been holding out on Spyro for so long and just hoping they eventually just announce it. If KH gets released for Switch now I think I'll have to hold out and wait for any and all purchases from now on seen as publishers won't let you be informed for the release of the game

Well it sold well while being an enhanced port. Surely capcom will see that these are good numbers for that type of game. My boyfriend started with World but has been playing a lot of Gen with me and has been saying how much he'd like a new game like it built for the Switch.

A new game with an improved engine by the team who made the Gen games would be great (especially if they incorporate some Frontier monsters)
