@NodesforNoids uh this is ridiculous. The majority of my post was about their ridiculous pricing structure in regards to CURRENT games on the eshop such as TPHP WWHD and Pokken. I had about 1 sentence at the end discussing virtual console which you have spun into me being a 'thief' and a 'pirate'. Your argument is illogical, no one can keep hold of every console and game they have had for all their lives. The virtual console allows for people to legally (as is pivotal for you) play games they love from decades ago. It is unfair that Nintendo then adds what can only be called a 'nostalgia charge' to triple the price it is worth for a game you have likely purchased multiple times before. Like I say, I wasn't talking about piracy in my post and your barrage is ridiculous to say the least.

The only instance in which I was 'advocating piracy' was in my statement that we can obtain ROMs for free which Nintendo are charging around £7 for for decades old games. How do you presume that people get hold of games that aren't on the virtual console? That's right, the dreaded piracy. I don't 'pirate' games myself but it agitates me when I can't find a retro game I want on the eshop so I wait for it to eventually release and its £7-8. The rest of my post was just about reasonable pricing for games that no one is considering pirating so screw your self-righteousness.

Eshop prices are disgusting and the sole reason I don't buy off there often eventhough I prefer to have games digitally.
I swear Wind Waker was £50 on there when I bought it for £35 in a shop. Twilight Princess HD on eshop is £40 but I got the special edition with amiibo and soundtrack from Amazon for £36 pre-order, £50 for Pokken whereas I got it for £40 with Mewtwo amiibo card off Amazon.
Not to mention the virtual console prices when we can all download ROMs for free.

Yeah I don't understand the whole hate towards remakes/remasters on Nintendo consoles when it's more prominent in other consoles; Last Of Us, Kingdom Hearts 1.5 and 2.5, Nathan Drake Collection, Gears of War, Resident Evil 1 and 0 etc.

This might be wishful thinking but does this mean the unique features from each games will finally be all in one game?
For example; will we finally be able to have Pokemon walking behind us from HGSS (please please please) as well as a difficulty option from B2W2, a second region also from HGSS, contests from ORAS etc.

I hope it's Gen 7 Kalos is nice and all but a Pokemon Z after like 3 years since X and Y would be a bit disappointing I would have thought they took a year off last year so they can create something new rather than a remake or copy and past work cough battle maison cough

@Silithas yes I wish I could get letterbox back. It irritates me how Nintendo and fans make a fuss of Nicki and the whole art style used in letterbox (they were recently used as badges in Bage Arcade) when the software can't be used.

Pre-ordered the special edition with Amiibo and Soundtrack on Amazon for £36, think that's pretty amazing value for someone who's never played the original (me)

How can someone who released a remake of a game (that wasn't massively popular in the first place) only in the US then complained about it not selling well, then go on to announce a remake of the second game and ask if we, the end customer, want to fork out cash to back a game that most parts of the world will likely never see?

This actually looks quite interesting. Especially seen as it appears to be a first party title with voice acting and cinematics from Nintendo haha

I like that the advert was obviously trying to play off nostalgia and cool visuals to get more adults interested. Would have been a good opportunity to advertise Pokken seen as that has more mature visuals.

@Bass_X0 and that's how it should be, there shouldn't be any sort of derogatory language used against any group in society. The fact that gay marriage was only legalised in the US last year shows that homophobia is still a pressing issue and Nintendo following the Tomodatchi life thing need to be more considerate.
It's easy to view things as a non-issue when you aren't a member of the group getting targeted by the derogatory terms and misrepresentation.

@Dakt except they were right to receive the flak they got for Tomadatchi Life and this further highlights their bigotry and disregard for the feelings of people who aren't heterosexual.
Nintendo are right to be hyper-sensitive and vigilant if that means offensive crap like this and Tomadatchi Life's marriage system don't happen

Already ordered 10 packs of amiibo cards season 3 for £18 from Ami-Ami meaning it's 60p per card instead of the £1.10 per card paying UK price so got a bargain

Lmao if the NX doesn't release this year I'll almost be disapointed becuase I love my Wii U but every time I come on the Internet the NX is always being talked about when there's no information to go on. If it doesn't release this year this will just go on for longer

@BakaKnight agreed, I'm sure it wouldn't have taken too much time to create some more levels and character models to match other amiibo. Hell, they could have had one world for the whole Animal Crossing line and just had different character models for the different Animals and they all could have had the same ability and that would be better than pretty much just serving the fans that bought entire Mario roster from the smash line or the Mario party set.
Even if it took significantly longer to develop, it would still create a more inclusive product and/or provide an incentive to buy more non-Mario amiibo.

I would love Chandelure to get into the roster purely because it's my favourite Pokemon and I know it will never happen.
Realistically, I would like Hawlucha as most other fighting types don't interest me too much. It'll likely be Swampert though to round out the Hoenn starters which I find underwhelming as the only Hoenn starter I like (final evo) is Sceptile

Yeah I still find it annoying that people have chosen not to buy the game becuase one young character who's age is in fact important to her characterisation and lots of dialogue (she referred to me as a father figure at one point which would be a bit weird if she was changed to like 20) has had a slight costume change. Yeah the bust slider may be annoying to some but I really see it as a non-issue seen as, once again, it is absolutely not integral to any part of the game.

X ultimate will likely come out in 2016 in Japan would it kill them to work on the localisation at the same time so we can get a worldwide 2016 release instead of us westerners having to wait till mid-2017

Annoyed that they won't increase the stage rotation 2 just isn't enough when we'll have 16 stages once the new ones are released. As I can't play very often it's annoying to come online when I have the time and not be able to play more than 2 maps in any given mode

I actually think the level is really well done and tbh I also liked the cars in MK8. I'm more of a motorbike kinda guy but my partner always uses the Mercedes cars.

Was really conflicted between XCX and Monster Hunter 4U. In the end I went with MH as I've sunk 250 hours into it and loved every minute. So far I'm 30 into XCX and also loving it equally as much so I kinda just went with the one I know best so far. Maybe if XCX came out around the same time as MH I would be able to decide between them properly but as it stands im loving them both pretty much equally, MH just had the edge because of the time I've gotten to spend on it.

@Nego this. You can't expect tremendous sales when you only release your games in one territory. I imagine that many people initially interested in the studios games in Europe are now not interested as there is little chance anyone will see them

As much as I dislike Josh Thomas, the ideas are very nice and displayed beautifully, I'd happily buy this game

I heard that the main character is 17 which is below the age of consent in America so it makes sense for them to remove a skimpy outfit which hyper-sexualises what is considered a minor in the US.
In Japan however the age of consent is 13 and in Europe its 16 so naturally it's considered okay to keep them in these versions.
