ARMS is still ticking along just fine, seeing a regular amount of content additions and balancing tweaks every few weeks. The big news with the current update is that the new fighter, Lola Pop, is finally being added to the game, but there’s a number of other additions and tweaks that have been made, too.
Alongside Lola, we’ve got a few new ARMS, a new stage, custom button mappings, and a whole array of bug fixes and balancing tweaks. Take a look:
· New fighter Lola Pop can now be selected.
· New ARM Funchuk added.
· New ARM Biffler added.
· New ARM Clapback added.
· New stage Via Dolce added.
· Customize Controls menu added.
- This allows you to freely customize button mappings.
- Access by pressing X on the fighter select screen, or from the pause menu in battle.
· Condition for unlocking Ranked Match has changed from clearing Grand Prix on Level 4 to clearing Grand Prix on Level 1.
· Stun charge attacks will now immobilize fighters for longer.
· Fire charge attack damage has been reduced by 10.
· After landing a hit on an armored opponent, there will now be a momentary delay before the ARM starts to retract.
· In modes with multiple opponents, removed function where the targeted opponent would automatically switch to another opponent when the targeted opponent was knocked down.
· Fixed issue where bomb blasts would not knock down players during their rush attack.
· Fixed issue where bomb blasts could not be guarded when playing 1-punch KO
· Fixed issue where, under certain conditions, after connecting a wind type rush attack follow up attacks would be impossible.
· Fixed issue where even in the process of shooting an ARM it was possible to charge-up when on a trampoline.
· Fixed issue in Hedlok Scramble where if a communication error occurred at a specific time it would become impossible to grab the Hedlok powerup.
· Fixed issue where fighters would sometimes go out of bounds during fights against Hedlok.

I really have to get back to this, darn you 2017 with your awesome games!
Me as well, looks like a great update!
What a great support to this great game! The control customization itself will take me back in it!
It's nice you can change the controls. I use the ZL and ZR buttons to change who I home on, and the SL & SR buttons to activate "Rush", which is more natural to press without having to move away from the Dash or Jump buttons.
Lola Pop is a fun character to use, if you like defending a lot.
They nerfed the cracker, I'm screwed
That's good I like stunning enemies. Speaking of, anyone seen the new IT movie?
Dat subtitle. Well played sir. moderate applause
so this must be penny wises' gf.....spoiler alert shes gonna be in the sequel XD
Wow I can actually move the guard to a place where I can use it!
@arvin didnt you hear? Pennywise is dating The Barbadook
Going to experiment with different buttons for guarding. Hopefully that gets me to rank 10 finally...
Keep buffing those Parasols, hehe. Ç'est bon!
Lola Pop has pretty fun moves! You can perpetually shield bounce if you dash midair, and when you bounce back, press dash again and again to keep bouncing!
Her double clapbacks can get pretty annoying in able hands though...
Now I am going to play this again
Mechanica is rocking in the 3.0 update!
nice to see another update with a new character.
does anyone know if friendly fire is an error in the game when playing 2-vs-2 battles or is that by design? i don't think you should be able to knock down and/or give your partner damage during a fight unless the rules allow it like in super smash bros.
Are you guys really enjoying this game ? I just couldnt get behind it. Gamefly'd it and sent it right back. Im still glad people are supporting it and its getting its usual updates.
Haven't played it as often as I used to since Splatoon 2 came out. With this update and the season getting colder, I'll be back on the wagon and staying warm (active motion control user). Worked up too much sweat playing in the Summer.
Good job on that It reference. I approve.
I really like that lots of the ARMS are getting faster! One of the critiques is that the action feels too slow, but I wonder if they meant to start it like that until people get used to the game more
Glad to see they adopted the balancing approach known from Splatoon. I totally support this!
Nintendo focus on continous improvement on every detail is their key to success, I am glad they keep breaking paradigms and taking risks, same as what happened with mario kart, smash bros, splatoon , and arms. Thanks god Japan exist
Nice rebalancing overall.
I love all of these constant updates. Really catering to the fans. Nintendo knows how to keep their dedicated online experiences fresh.
