Personally, I think demonizing all who disagree with a company outright lying over and over is ridiculous.

Yes, the Devs shouldn't feel bad but the people at the top should. The solution here is for better management by the top and more developers getting paid better. If you're trying to support developers you shouldn't be aiding the company exploiting them while putting down those pointing out the clear problems within the company and the outright false advertising.

TLDR: Corporate bootlicking is not how you care for Devs. It's how you safeguard their continued exploitation.

Oh I thought this was a re-release of the original. That's a shame, I heard the first one is good.

Played Strange Journey, Persona Q and Persona Q2 on it so far this year and currently playing through Etrian Odyssey Nexus. Q2 is probably my personal game of the year so I'm more than happy with this year on my 3DS.

I like fortnite a lot but "£70" of content is misleading. They are selling it for £25 which means they found £25 to be satisfactory payment for the items based on the work put into making them (which isn't super much because they're re-colours). If the price is £25 for the group of items, that group of items is WORTH that. In fact, to be s stickler for accuracy, the set is worth LESS than that as they clearly want to make a profit off it.

Not giving that fool any money.

Indie devs are creating some of the most critically and culturally acclaimed games in recent memory off their own back and you want to slag them off because they'll take money from Epic to make their game exclusive to their completely free-to-use launcher?

If you look at the global population and assume a 50/50 split of male and female (although in reality the majority gender is usually female) and then factor in that not all men are straight, it is evident that when counting gay men, bisexual men, women and other sexualities of women; straight men are a minority when compared to all other types of people on this planet

@SwitchForce Source and what was decided? If the state has its own age of consent (all of them do) and it's above 12 (all of them are) then their claim would be without legal ground. You said in your own comment that 18 is considered a universal norm outside of Japan because 13 is normal in Japan which is demonstrably false.

@Xansies That's incorrect. The national minimum is 13 but all areas of Japan have it set above that. In practice the age of consent varies between 16-18. In Japan being a pedophile is still being a pedophile and 'lolicon' is their direct equivalent of pedophile. Lots of otakus and other sorts on the internet often distort facts about Japan to feel better about using Japanese media as an outlet for their pedophilia and they've helped feed this massive misconception about Japanese culture.

Edit: TWO areas of Japan have the age of consent at 13. The rest have it at 16-18. America's national minimum age of consent is 12 which is below that of Japan but you don't see Americans using that to justify things because it isn't the age of consent in practice.

Huh, thats really weird. I got it day one and the FPS has seemed really strong almost the whole way and the only texture issues I see noticeably in docked are weapons at the beginning of the game with handheld looking pretty perfect at all times.

I was actually taken aback at how well the port came out so it's a shame to see it labelled as disappointing and such.

@Aneira Resident Evil has been doing really well after 6. Revelations 1 and 2 are fantastic continuations of the style 4 brought and 7 went in a new direction which paid off with it being one of the scariest RE games to date. Granted, that is just one series and I can't really think of many other big survival horror games in the past few years...

Great. People that want that can buy it. Maybe they'll leave coverage of the remake alone now so those who are actually interested in the game and will BUY it, can keep up with the news without incessant whining from people who have said that they won't buy it and don't want it. TMS flopped because it was a Wii U Game. The switch is freaking massive in comparison to the Wii U. The SMT franchise keeps growing with Persona 5 blowing the series up to insane levels of recognition and Fire Emblem just had a massive game launch in Three Houses. Cross promotional outfits (already seen a Three Houses one in the trailer) and such will help sell this game even more by connecting the game to the big hits they've known recently. If it is marketed well this game won't flop, regardless of some angry Japanese players and angry Americans pretending they were going to buy the game anyway on twitter.

The majority of the Switch's demographic isn't paying close attention to One Angry Gamer. They're paying attention to Nintendo's advertising and the game itself.

Edit: can anyone actually link to me angry Japanese players? I've only seen Americans angry about the subject which suggests to me that the Amazon Japan sales are Americans ordering from there simply because that's the only place it's available. Plus, it wouldn't take many sales for a Wii U game in the end of 2019 to become the best selling Wii U game right now. This is grasping at straws.

@SBandy Artistic choice. Original artist made the new outfits AND is adding glasses to a character who they originally intended to have glasses as well as creating the new costumes for the game. This is the developer's vision but people can't seem to fathom that maybe the developers decided less nudity was better because they all seem to think Japan is some homeland for their sexual fantasies and nothing more.

It's a shame that Capcom isn't putting enough effort in to these ports. The switch is easily capable of playing these games considering they were developed for last gen (which the switch is more powerful than) and the Revelations ports were great

God imagine how cool it would be to get more characters and seasonal costumes and such on MK8Deluxe. Oh well. This is a ripoff obviously but whatever. Hopefully we get Mario Kart 9 at some point on the switch considering I had the Wii U so MK8 is old for me and Deluxe didn't hold my attention for long and mostly just have it for when I'm playing with friends as I already played it tons on my Wii U.

I don't care about cross play. Switch will have a big enough playerbase. It's cross progression that is needed.
