The people in here using this article as a pro-Mike Zaimont revisionist base are the sort of people that just regurgitate what they've been retold in steam and reddit threads, and don't even know that the company that's suing Autumn Games isn't even the same group of people they're taking offense against. Like it's literally a different thing entirely.
@johnvboy My man if you're the only one being repeatedly deleted for inappropriate comments that seems to be a you problem and not an echo chamber problem.
I feel like people are too focused on the company trying to show its not AI with this new trailer and should be more focused on how much CG is used and how little actual gameplay was shown. All the marketing was absolutely generated even if the trailers weren't. Which only means to me they were assisted at most.
It's a wild goose chase and a waste of time spent on a mediocre sim game made by a web3 grifter.
@Qwiff they all gave their individual apologies a day after everything went down. Nintendo actually took several weeks to deliberate this announcement.
@Hck That's right friend, your example is very much the same as an entire team taking part in turbo racism publicly for years under the pretense of "it's a joke".
@nessisonett They cancelled that livestream because half of the contestants were changing their names to a hashtag movement or literal twitter links, they halted sponsored college smash tournaments because allegedly they were planning something else for it. Playing an authentic video game with a software gimmick functioning outside of its code is an entirely different scenario. Otherwise they would’ve shut down the fish playing pokemon.
There’s also the fact that the closest thing they’ve had to interacting with any of the TPP community was to take down a romhack that was using the streams as advertisement for its release, but not the touching the streams themselves.
@Cosats @Rich_Uncle_Skeleton In NL’s defense, this is exactly how the subject line presents itself in the actual verdict release. And this is likely how articles covering this matter will follow.
@BionicDodo In this specific case, the game has had significant post-launch updates since those reviews. For one, they added an entire first person mode to the walking segments two months after launch so you could actually see the environment details and NPCs up close.
@Teksetter asset hacking and ruining online playability have been hand in hand with Animal Crossing since Wild World. It’s clearly not as bad as back then (In Wild World hackers could just make your station inaccessible and ruin your save completely and they visit you online), but hacking your game and going online with it is still against the TOS by any means.
[A publicist for Deadly Premonition 2 tells me it’s “inaccurate” to say the game won’t receive a patch to address the game’s poor frame rate. They are “currently speaking with the developers” and “should have a better update soon.”]
The Satellaview didn’t connect to the Internet, it streamed data via Broadcast Satellite. That’s why the initials for a lot of games were BS. Satellite is in the name!
Come on, Nintendo-centric website, I thought you’d know this.
@Araquanid It's still pretty minimal how many people actually hack their Switch like this, but Xecutor was one of the first hacking groups to get that initial Switch hack down to a sell-able product.
PC culture is preventing this guy who is working to say he’s horny to everyone online on the company twitter while on the job how dare you stifle his freedoms and his addiction to tiddy.
It's weird this is the thing you focus on from that twitter thread for an article and not the fact that the localizer is talking about how the small moments that happen in Animal Crossing is there to provide comfort and that he was humbled that the game has become important to so many people. That some people would even celebrate birthdays with friends, or make a place for their mother's grave in their town to visit, because they couldn't visit the real grave on Mother's Day because of quarantine.
Just for clarity, the eShop in these countries is basically only free demos and a code redemption page. It literally has nothing and most bundled games are US region coded.
@Fido007 Yes, personally requested by the family and publicized by Gearbox . They didn't do that out of nowhere. And the villager's name isn't even Audie in the Japanese version.
@Anti-Matter It's a glitch you probably wouldn't even be susceptible to until a week when you're fully equipped to even do the things the glitch needs you to do. And by then Nintendo would probably have it fixed.

Reminder that this game was originally supposed to come out in 2021.
Re: Unlike Nintendo, EA's Game Prices Apparently Won't Be Rising Any Time Soon
They make enough money with their aggressive microtransactions and content passes as is.
Re: Madden NFL 26 Confirmed For Switch 2, But College Football Isn't In The Starting Lineup
Typo, its 69.99 on eshop and game key cart, not 79.99.

Re: Nintendo Switch Online Announces Removal Of Super Famicom Title
Super Soccer was published by Nintendo outside of Japan. I wonder if spike chunsoft wanted to renegotiate for the game for some reason.
Re: E3's Entertainment Software Association Returns With A New Industry Event
Reverting back to being an invite only keynote and showcase centric thing is probably the best thing they could've done in starting up an event again.

Of course they weren't. They built the dang thing on the old processing plant for their hanafuda cards. Can't replicate that aura.

Re: Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund Acquires 5% Stake In Nintendo
@Giancarlothomaz None.
The investment of public stock is an action that ultimately does not provide any direct influence on Nintendo’s business practices or ideology.
Anyone who thinks that has a gross misunderstanding on how these financial dealings work and are just moral grandstanding.
