Re: Skullgirls Dev Is Off The Game, Taking Legal Action Against Publisher

The people in here using this article as a pro-Mike Zaimont revisionist base are the sort of people that just regurgitate what they've been retold in steam and reddit threads, and don't even know that the company that's suing Autumn Games isn't even the same group of people they're taking offense against. Like it's literally a different thing entirely.

Re: Catly Developer Says Game Does Not Use Generative AI, Blockchain Tech, Or NFTs

I feel like people are too focused on the company trying to show its not AI with this new trailer and should be more focused on how much CG is used and how little actual gameplay was shown. All the marketing was absolutely generated even if the trailers weren't. Which only means to me they were assisted at most.

It's a wild goose chase and a waste of time spent on a mediocre sim game made by a web3 grifter.

Re: Pokémon Fans' Raspberry Pi Project Allows Twitch To Play Pokémon Sword

@nessisonett They cancelled that livestream because half of the contestants were changing their names to a hashtag movement or literal twitter links, they halted sponsored college smash tournaments because allegedly they were planning something else for it. Playing an authentic video game with a software gimmick functioning outside of its code is an entirely different scenario. Otherwise they would’ve shut down the fish playing pokemon.

There’s also the fact that the closest thing they’ve had to interacting with any of the TPP community was to take down a romhack that was using the streams as advertisement for its release, but not the touching the streams themselves.

Re: Even The Man Who Wrote Animal Crossing: New Horizons' Sea Bass Joke Is Tired Of It

It's weird this is the thing you focus on from that twitter thread for an article and not the fact that the localizer is talking about how the small moments that happen in Animal Crossing is there to provide comfort and that he was humbled that the game has become important to so many people. That some people would even celebrate birthdays with friends, or make a place for their mother's grave in their town to visit, because they couldn't visit the real grave on Mother's Day because of quarantine.

But hey no yeah go with the sea bass part.
