@Gen0neD And one of those insiders, Emily Rogers, CLARIFIES that just because the standard is 16 GB (mostly because of Nintendo's concern for its internal storage capabilities and slighter cost), does not mean larger cart sizes do not exist. It's the same as the 3DS. It's still worrying about your own doubts despite what common sense wold tell you based on what the article is telling you. Mochizuki NEVER said it was limited to 16 GB. Nintendo Life did. It's that simple.

@GenOneD Is it because you don't know what standard size means?

Let me give an example. The 3DS had a standard cart size of 2 GB. The range that developers can go for was between 128 mb and 8 GB. Standard is not a sole option.

Standard means minimum.
