The latest issue of Nintendo's official magazine has arrived, this time boasting a winter theme.
The free magazine follows the summer edition which launched back in August, featuring plenty of advertisements for Switch's biggest games and handy little features for some of the most popular titles. Just like before, the entire thing is in Japanese, but it's a pretty little thing to flick through if you're intrigued.
Check it out for free here:
When the summer edition launched earlier this year we hoped that a western release might follow. Sadly, it doesn't appear to have made its way out of Japan just yet.
Thank goodness for Nintendo-centric websites, huh? Huh? Ah, forget it.

Love the cover image.
Hey look, they acknowledged Rock Mario, from Super Mario Galaxy 2!
That game does exist!
the japanese are real masters of graphic design, well, most of the times.
Nintendo have an official online magazine?
Now I just have to learn Japanese.
The is less of a magazine and more of a 100 page advertisement.
It is nice looking though.
dang, nintendo has really come through with these occasional mario renders. gorgeous
@Crockin well Mario is everywhere you look..
@ShinyUmbreon well yeah duh, but sometimes they post a very high quality render made with some extra effort. There is a difference between that and a copy paste render from NSMB or whatever
@Crockin well thats nintendo for you bud Mario is always gonna be somewhere..
@ShinyUmbreon
me:this render looks great, much higher quality than the usual copy paste merchandising stuff.
You: yep Mario sure is all over. Didn't you know?
Had to come back to say I only just realised the green scarf is meant to be a warp pipe.
The link just goes to a blank white screen?
@ImagineerNik nice catch!
Does it have news in it?
Im going to buy this, frame this, and sell it in 50 years to pay for my retirement
@AndyC_MK Is there no physical copy?
While I love being able to go online and get the latest news, I do miss the print magazines and slower news cycle. I remember pouring over Nintendo Power looking for every bit of information it contained. (And yes, Nintendo has a fine tradition of advertisements disguised as magazines).
Did anyone else get a Nintendo calendar in the mail?
Bring back Nintendo Power
Bring back ONM UK!
@jarvismp It should load in a PDF viewer on white background. Maybe use a diff browser?
@PotatoTheG While I sympathise with some of our American cousins wanting Nintendo Power back, ONM and UK gaming mags generally were always a lot more humourous and fun.
@Electric-Dreams We have Switch Player and if you love old style Nintendo magazines you need to be getting Ninty Fresh which is about to release its second issue!
@jarvismp Way ahead of you. I already do!
@Electric-Dreams Good man! I write for Switch Player and I love it! Great team.
@AndyC_MK84 There is a physical edition, the website says you can pick it up for free. I'm assuming it's gonna be in a 7-11, or Family-Mart (A japanese convenience store) or something.
Sometimes I'm really happy my mother taught me Japanese when I was young. I get to enjoy stuff like this when there is no English edition.
@AndyC_MK84 oof
