In one of the streams I saw yesterday I also saw a bug on the kart board where the player was not able to stop at a "star point" after rolling a multi or triple dice. Is this intended?

Can't help thinking there was a small and dedicated dev team passionately working on this for a few years. I hope they are OK and can still fix some of the bugs.

Everyone that can afford a 350-400 dollar console will also be able to afford a Micro SD card, so I think Nintendo will definitely see this as a saving option — at least in the first iteration of their console.

@Yosher That's correct, nothing after Mario Party 3. Dates for 1080° Snowboarding and Harvest Moon 64 are still TBA.

This is actually one of the better 3D model recreations, but as usual, these lack any creativity or soul.

How about some work on the game engine first? Fix the most severe perfomance issues... and deliver the "fixes" that were promised by Nintendo back in December.

@LadyCharlie I fully agree. The only way you can get into the same race with friends is by entering a lobby at the same time (have been trying this multiple times last night). Definitely feels like a missed opportunity, since you are also encouraged to defeat "rivals".

This looks like a fun take on the original game, with new mechanics that'll actually work online! Will definitely try this out.

Noticed it while reading the Pikmin 4 review, but am wondering how effective it is as the accessibility report is hard to read. What does a 1 behind Content mean, for example? Is this a 1 out of x, 1 out of 5... there's no sense of scale. I think it's meant to be informative (no scores), but it looks like a score card.

Again, no performance improvements. Despite Nintendo acknowledging on December 3, 2022 (!!) they were aware of the issues / promising they would work on improvements to the games. It's almost 6 months later now.

OTII is my favourite game of the year so far, but as it stands now, sales numbers aren’t strong enough to justify a third game (at least not for now). Miyauchi-san knows that too I think, hence the polite reply on the Famitsu question.

It has been 50% off 3 times on the eShop already (DekuDeals has a nice graph for that), so why is this news now?

I absolutely love this. Toruzz did some amazing work on Super Mario Land DX and Super Mario Land 2 DX in the past, this is as good as it can get. Will pre-order the GBC game for sure.

These games won't get fixed on Switch. You can't repair a poorly running engine on outdated hardware. The only thing we will see this year are small bug fixes and minor optimization tweaks.

@Lizuka For me there was actually a tipping point in the Desert world (I think it is around Chapter 12?). More interesting characters, better music, more variety in goals and maps.

Well this basically hints at a new Nintendo system in 2024, right? Pokémon Company has been releasing a new Pokémon game almost every year for over a decade now (with the exception of 2015 and "Corona" year 2020).

Disappointed by this low effort article. There's a huge leak on the most anticipated game of the year and all that Ollie did is mentioning a random message from Stealth on Twitter (??). A bit more context and investigation would have been appreciated (keeping it spoiler free).

I still think Conrad could have done more to please the people who bought his game, even though the relationship with the publisher went sour. Taking it publicly is not always the best course of action. We'll see how this plays out.
