Gonna give Choice Provisions the benefit of a doubt on this one and support them. They're a very unique indie studio and I generally enjoy their games. Whoa Dave and the Runner games are classics IMO.

Oh yeah. I'm stoked.
There's no reason why every Nintendo-fan shouldn't download this and reap the benefits of a loyalty account on top of it all. I'm very intrigued.

@wazlon I don't see why you'd recommend getting the WiiU version over Legends. You haven't played Legends so how can you advise against it?

Since I began playing XCX Christmas day, I've found it nearly impossible to be motivated to do anything else.

Just wanted to voice my support for Renegade Kid. They're a Nintendo-loyal, hard-working studio with great games overall. Sure there have been a couple of misses, but like I've said before, I think their only true fault was poor timing and prioritizing.
I really do hope 2016 is a better year for RK. Keep the faith, Jools!

@PORYGON thanks. I just really feel that RK is making simple mistakes in their business decisions... The strange timing and sudden nature of some of their development announcements seem like the choices of one person without counsel.
It's a bummer because unlike some here, I feel that their efforts are obvious in the finished product. I really hope they don't abandon Nintendo systems.

I have a great amount of respect for Jools. He seems like a really nice guy, and I do enjoy Kid Renegade's games...
But my thoughts about this entire situation go back to before they attempted the Kickstarter for Cult County. Everyone was hyped for Treasurenauts. It was coming on the heels of the similarly-styled Mutant Mudds, which was very well-received. I love it...
But then everything took a left turn. We expected Treasurenauts, but got Moon Chronicles. Then came Xeodrifter, a fairly brilliant and unexpected brain fart from the studio, but no word on Treasurenauts... Then we hear about Dementium 1 and 2 but still no Treasurenauts. Then we get news about another upcoming addition to Mutant Mudds before Treasurenauts finally arrives on the 3DS.
I just feel like they should've kept stoking the fire began by Mutant Mudds with the Treasurenauts release we expected a few years ago. It would've kept fans happy and willing to follow Renegade Kid into their other efforts. But instead they cooled off.

This seems like the feature that should have heralded the triumphant writer-return of @SpaceKappa Joe Walker.

This is just more Nintendo-covering-their-bases-with-patents stuff. The NX controller might have elements seen here, but I'd put money on the controller looking vastly different and interacting with the games in ways we haven't even considered.

Welp, that makes it an instabuy in my book. I was already gonna get it at some point, and now it's looking like a day-one purchase.

Making levels that require skill and effort is great, but some of those "hard" levels are plain trolls. I can't stand that mess.

But I'd love to play another Runner game @ChoiceProvisions ! It's the only "runner-type" game I even spend time on. So great.

I bought the first 3DS installment for my daughter, and ended up loving it myself. It's such an addictive and high-quality game, as evidenced by Nintendo attaching is name to the title. I'll definitely be picking this one up as soon as it's released here in NA.

@Spectra_Twilight on Twitter a couple of months back, Jools directly responded to my question about the status of Treasurenauts by saying that once Mutant Mudds Deluxe on Wii U was released, they'd finish it.

It all sounds like progression to me. I'm so hyped for If... and I, for one, love the title. Do we know for certain that the game will be released as two separate versions like in Japan?

This DLC pack seemed so much more full with the 200cc inclusion. It really has breathed new life into the game.
And now for some battle arena DLC, if you please, Nintendo.

If exploring/getting lost is considered one of the game's only real downsides, it sounds like a real gem IMO.

@pariah164 my butt is perfectly fine, and thanks for giving permission to enjoy my hobby. You do the same... but you might enjoy your hobby a little more with some amiibo to brighten your desk, and add content to your games.

@pariah164 it sounds like you ruined the fun for yourself. amiibo collecting is just a fun hobby like any other statuette collection, except these interact with our beloved Nintendo games. How is that idea lost on you? They aren't necessary elements that a gamer requires to experience the fullness of the game. They're optional, awesome additions like DLC.
