North America's Next Splatoon Splatfest is a Battle of Art and Science

Does it really matter? Both sides are equal in power and ability. Science is about logical solutions while art is the beauty of the heart. Why fight when you can all team up together?

Pretty nice choice Splatfest choices again. I needed more Super Sea Snails for the rest of my gear so the timing of this Splatfest is great.

I understand why, but does every Splatfest have to be on the weekends? Their are seven days in a week and I know kids (who do play this game) have school during five of those days but come on.... holiday times???? Not always a weekend. Im away every weekend, and I never get to play a Splatfest.
BTW Art will likely win...... and for Europe?

I'm a medicine man, so I'm gonna have to go with Science. But art will always have a special place in my heart. Right next to my sinoatrial node.

@IAmDeclanJay I agree! I usually work during the weekends, so I've only managed to join the very 1st splatfest for a few rounds before it was over. Haven't been able to participate in any other splatfest since.

Thus one sounds great fun. I'd choose science, because FOR SCIENCE.

However, I'm in Europe, so I guess the choice will be something lame like Peas vs Carrots.

@crimsontadpoles Yeah I'd probably just go "eenie meeni miney mo" or however that rhyme goes. Whereas with US Splatfest, I couldn't possibly pick between both sides, as I care deeply about both arts and sciences.

And even saying Neatfreak vs Slacker (or whatever the opposite of Neatfreak is) would be better!

@whodatninja NoE could really do with getting a few young children and asking them what issues matter to them. I bet they would give much more interesting and creative answers than the current person who chooses it.

I guess this is the first time I leave Callie's side in Splatfest. Science FTW!!

I used to draw while I have never done anything science related. So I am going Art.

I'm going to change it up this time and go with the team that seems most likely to lose popular vote, and pick science. However, that is what I would pick anyway as my artistic talent registers as nil.

The scientific fields, including technology, come more naturally to me. So, science.

I do participate in the performing arts though. If you are in the Chicago area, look up Overshadowed's SongSmythe- a musical play about the life of Philip Bliss, 19th century songwriter (especially hymns).

They wanted to do Religion vs Science cause it's North America but then they were like "oooh...."

well, i do use the rollers and the brush in this.... so.

I know Splatfests only happen once-a-month, but it would be nice if Nintendo waited a bit longer so people could get the Splatfest theme out of their heads.
