That is a load of games slated for 2017. No way I'll be able to afford everything i want.
Comments from Yasume almost always make me wish upon a star for a mute/block button to use here.
It's obviously your world (first world) and we're all just living in it.
For me, the Switch hype is snowballing. Pretty much every time I read about a new game announcement or details about Ninty's future plans, it's exciting. TumbleSeed looks like some great fun.
@BLM that's the worst idea. Mini-mini joycons? No. The most natural move for Nintendo as it applies to their dedicated Handheld division is the DS HD. Keep the DS family alive with continued backwards-compatibility through the original DS, and just heavily beef up the internal hardware. DS HD exclusive games for those willing to make the jump, plus the DS/3DS compatibility would keep the familiar and introduce so much more.
Yeah, I'd support this on the Switch. It looks beautiful, and from an indie... That just makes me more inclined to appreciate the effort made and every little aspect of the game.
@Clownshoes your comments say a whole lot about you and your personal tastes, and not much objective about Splatoon. I, and many many others have nothing but love for the game's unique style. It is rad, and as for how it controlled on the gamepad, I've had no complaints in my battles. I've never reached S rank, but it's not an issue with the controls. I stopped blaming games for my lack of skill back on the NES.
@LiamR sorry, I guess "abrasive, condescending liberal outbursts" would be more precise.
But still, methinks some self-eval is in order if you have no idea about what I'm referring to. But I do appreciate your great Nintendo detective work!
Cool. I'm glad to see output from Liam Robertson that isn't hardcore, angry leftist outbursts littering up my Twitter stream.
He was previously known to me for his great Unseen 64 stuff, but since I un-followed him over there for being generally rude and obnoxious, here is where I'll now count on reading anything from him that matters.
I'd love to play an open-world Flash game based on the comic and not the show.
I will not be selling off my Wii U to offset the cost of a Switch. I remain very fond of it. I will now begin hunting down those last-remaining titles that are now sure to be put up for sale on eBay and the like by (what I perceive as) short-sighted, "use-and-dispose" gamers.
Oh, I just love procedural generation. Always been such a big fan of procedural generation. I really like the way that the generation is all procedural and whatnot... Like how it just makes the games better and more good in the long run. It's all so procedural.
...that's actually a pretty good game list. If that's the list of samples for the tracks, I may have to swallow my pride and actually listen to that numbnuts' album when it releases. And with Pete Rock on scene, there might actually be something worth listening to. @ChaoticBull if you had standards for hip hop music, I don't think you'd be arguing for this self-stroking, mediocre non-MC.
@BensonUii and that there is the most annoying part of it all. I'm very optimistic about Nintendo's future "now with greater visibility!" They aren't going to stop putting out highly-polished, fun and imaginative games. And that's all that matters to me.
Nintendo has always covered the only part of the market that really matters to me. I have fun with Sony's consoles, but all of the games that really matter to me have always been Nintendo games.
I love all the people whining because these decisions aren't going to fit their own weird personal lifestyles.
The universe apparently revolves around countless oblivious & demanding geeks simultaneously.
I really hope they throw us a bone. I'm not demanding much more than an announcement of an announcement of the NX, but something. NX silence here would be such a kick in the boys.
Very nice review @MitchVogel. Sounds like a must-buy for folks with old school gaming sensibilities. Frantic gameplay, good music, good writing, level creator, co-op, and classic bit art equals a sure thing for me.

Re: Eiji Aonuma Lists His Top Three Favorite Zelda Games
I do not think Phantom Hourglass deserves the #1...
But Triforce Heroes is way more fun than it gets credit for. With friends, of course.
Re: Video: Nintendo Comes Out Swinging With New ARMS Footage
ARMS will be my summer if Splatoon 2 waits until fall for release.
This looks so dang good.

Great recommendation/review. It's now moved to the top of my download list.

C'mon guys... I know Jools is with Atooi and not Renegade Kid anymore, but he's gotta get props for a game other than Chicken Wiggle.
Re: Super Mario Run Has Been Built on Unity
@SCAssassin I was just referencing a port across multiple consoles. Why is that hard to believe? The WiiU and 3DS already support Unity games...
Re: Super Mario Run Has Been Built on Unity
Great news. Seems like Nintendo is starting to broaden their scope in terms of multiple console releases. I'm down.
Re: Animal Crossing Nintendo Direct Airs Tomorrow
First thing in the morning for me. A perfect wake up 😁
