Re: Guide: Nintendo Switch Launch Games & Release Dates 2017

NImH

That is a load of games slated for 2017. No way I'll be able to afford everything i want.
Comments from Yasume almost always make me wish upon a star for a mute/block button to use here.
It's obviously your world (first world) and we're all just living in it.

Re: Talking Point: The Nintendo 3DS, A System That Still Has a Role to Play

NImH

@BLM that's the worst idea.
Mini-mini joycons?
No. The most natural move for Nintendo as it applies to their dedicated Handheld division is the DS HD.
Keep the DS family alive with continued backwards-compatibility through the original DS, and just heavily beef up the internal hardware. DS HD exclusive games for those willing to make the jump, plus the DS/3DS compatibility would keep the familiar and introduce so much more.

Re: Talking Point: Splatoon May Be Winding Down, But Its Legacy Could Be Significant

NImH

@Clownshoes your comments say a whole lot about you and your personal tastes, and not much objective about Splatoon.
I, and many many others have nothing but love for the game's unique style. It is rad, and as for how it controlled on the gamepad, I've had no complaints in my battles. I've never reached S rank, but it's not an issue with the controls. I stopped blaming games for my lack of skill back on the NES.

Re: Video: Check Out the Open World Flash Game That Never Was

NImH

Cool. I'm glad to see output from Liam Robertson that isn't hardcore, angry leftist outbursts littering up my Twitter stream.
He was previously known to me for his great Unseen 64 stuff, but since I un-followed him over there for being generally rude and obnoxious, here is where I'll now count on reading anything from him that matters.

I'd love to play an open-world Flash game based on the comic and not the show.

Re: Random: Kanye West's Potential Album Tracklist is All About the Wii

NImH

...that's actually a pretty good game list.
If that's the list of samples for the tracks, I may have to swallow my pride and actually listen to that numbnuts' album when it releases. And with Pete Rock on scene, there might actually be something worth listening to.
@ChaoticBull if you had standards for hip hop music, I don't think you'd be arguing for this self-stroking, mediocre non-MC.

Re: Review: Gotta Protectors (3DS eShop)

NImH

Very nice review @MitchVogel. Sounds like a must-buy for folks with old school gaming sensibilities. Frantic gameplay, good music, good writing, level creator, co-op, and classic bit art equals a sure thing for me.
