No Brewster, no play 👎 I cant believe we still don't have the coffee shop. It's such a heartbreak and is honestly a major buzzkill for me. This feels like a slap in the face to longtime fans and actually makes me dislike NH a bit. GIVE US THE ROOST ALREADY!
I tried to get excited for the fall updates, but the magic just isn't there... Especially without Brewster.

Many years have I sat at the banks and watched at news of an update, gazing upon the old faithful stream of comments. One day, the river of stability puns and "stability intensifies" jokes will carry me to my final resting place, and I will not be ashamed when I cross over... Because the stability news has generated a perpetual flow of cringe that will carry me.

@KnightsTemplar you should teach your children to know their roots. Nintendo is timeless brilliance. 2 of my 3 kids have Switch Lites and small collections for them, and we still have a great time playing Wii Sports & Nintendoland because they're fun. You're playing yourself and your kids by only chasing "the future" of gaming. But that's only my opinion, and it shouldn't matter enough to upset anyone ✌️

@Ninjalaislit no. Splatoon has become more like that since 2 came out... But the gameplay, character design and world, and overall aesthetic are far more well-done by Nintendo. Ninjala attempts to deliver something like Splatoon and (IMO) fails because they leaned too heavily on their (cringy, according to me) sense of style, and a free to play model that attracts the kind of players I don't like to play online with.

I was wondering why I've been hooked on Doom 2 for the past couple days... I've been thinking, "This feels good like when I used to play on the PC when I was a kid." These are some very nice QoL improvements.

I'm glad to be able to say that we have a glut of really fun Beat-em-ups in the Switch eShop. As someone else mentioned, I'm also wondering what this game contributes to the genre that makes it stand out, other than it's visual style.

@Ninjalaislit starting at the most shallow level: The turnt-up, oh-so-cool kid aesthetic is obnoxious to me.
The gameplay is just okay... The music is not to my taste... The overall design is just so irritatingly loud and tacky IMO.

I wish NLife had an option to filter out certain topics or keywords from the news stream. "Ninjala" would be on my list 🤮

😓 Cuphead: A wonderful game with tight controls, appetizing old-school difficulty, and a stunning, hand-drawn animation style with plentiful gorgeous character designs.
Makes perfect sense to have an animated series based on this game... But the character designs are not the same as the game, and neither is the animated style. Soooo... What's the point? Hard pass 👎👎👎

What a disappointment... that entire game, I mean.

I can't follow Jools' logic. Dude's a great game designer, no doubt... But I've watched his past video updates, read his blogs and such, and his thought process is frustrating to try and get a grip on. He makes strange decisions then wonders why his latest title didn't sell well. It seems like he comes up with a theory on what will sell a game, and runs in that direction.
But I just wanna play Treasurenauts!

Runbow at that price is a no-brainer. I can't seem to make myself pull the trigger on Yoku though... No one has explained it well enough or convinced me of why I would love it. I love platformers and I really like pinball... Why can't I make the leap?
