I’m just really want the HD version of Twilight Princess and Wind Waker for Switch. A remake of Ocarina would be nice, I’m sure that will happen at some point.
I would argue that backwards compatibility is almost a standard now. Microsoft has it, and PS five and PS4 are compatible. Or at least, if not a standard feature that consumers are expecting.
I am shocked that Wind Waker and Twilight Princess haven’t come over yet. Nintendo did all that work on HD games for a dead system that would sell very well on Switch if ported over.
@YoshiF2 I agree with the grind critique. Armour needs X number of part B that is a rare drop from overworld bosses is such a bad design choice. Sorry I’m not grinding for 9 Gleeok guts, and yes I know they are 100% drop rate from King Gleeoks, still a bad design choice.
I played the Pikmin 4 demo last night, which was my first Pikmin game. It was a lot of fun, the clock is a bit stressful though. I pre-ordered, glad that progress carries over.
My issues with Breath of the Wild were its empty world, bad side quests, lack of rewards for exploration, lack of places to explore, and samey Divine Beast dungeons. Tears of the Kingdom fixed all of that and more. I can’t imagine going back to Breath, it would feel like a Beta version compared to TotK.
The game is testament to what developers take their time can produce when given the time. Nintendo had 6 years to take the foundations of BotW and make it so much more for the sequel.
I wasn’t the biggest fan of BotW, but Tears fixed most of the things I disliked. I can’t believe how much time I’ve sunk into TotK, Exploring finally feels worthwhile and exciting. Making a direct sequel was brilliant, it gave Nintendo six more years to iterate on what they already built and the results are impressive.
@boreal187 I wish the lock-on function was a bit better too. If there is only one enemy it would be nice to lock-on no matter what direction you are facing. I got screwed in the boss rush section trying to get the Hylian Shield because of the lock-on.

Re: Zelda Movie Director Wants Film To Feel Like "Live-Action Miyazaki"
Also, this isn’t going to be a silent movie, right? 😉 This is Link we are talking about after all.
Re: Zelda Movie Director Wants Film To Feel Like "Live-Action Miyazaki"
I’d wish they just make an animated film. Too much can go wrong with live action fantasy: wonky looking cgi, actors, costumes, sets, etc
Re: Video: Digital Foundry's Technical Analysis Of Batman: Arkham Trilogy
Batman Arkham Ass. I’ll just play Asylum and City on PS5, Knight is not worth revisiting.
Re: Mortal Kombat 1's DLC Fighter Homelander Won't Be Voiced By 'The Boys' Actor
That’s lame Starr won’t voice Homelander. MKI
Should have the The Seven’s entire lineup.
Re: Nintendo Download: 30th November (North America)
@Truegamer79 I was about to post the same thing about the lack of Origins.
Re: Round Up: Everything Announced At The Level-5 Vision 2023 November Showcase
Honestly, a simple sequel to Fanatsy Life and I’ll be happy. They don’t need to reinvent the wheel.

Re: Poll: So, Will You Be Getting Super Mario Bros. Wonder?
Wonder is amazing. So many fun ideas and surprises. I’ glad I stayed away from watching videos and articles.
Re: Soapbox: 'Switch 2' Doesn't Really Need Backwards Compatibility
I would argue that backwards compatibility is almost a standard now. Microsoft has it, and PS five and PS4 are compatible. Or at least, if not a standard feature that consumers are expecting.

I’ll be curious what DigitalFoundry says first before I consider buying it.
Re: Talking Point: Will You Pay $50 For Red Dead Redemption On Switch?
No, RDR would too compromised to play on Switch. It was neat Witcher III could be played, but the game looked like ass.
Re: Feature: So, Which Zelda Games Aren't On Switch Yet?
I am shocked that Wind Waker and Twilight Princess haven’t come over yet. Nintendo did all that work on HD games for a dead system that would sell very well on Switch if ported over.

I look over my shoulder when I’m near the bananas at the market.
Re: Ubisoft Has Reportedly Cancelled Plans For An Immortals: Fenyx Rising Sequel
Fenxy was fun, the writing was humerous. Ubi is emblematic of the big developers/publishers that just chase the “AAA” dragon.

Re: Super Mario Bros. Wonder's Estimated File Size Is Revealed On Switch eShop
Tears of the Kingdom is 16gb. Nintendo knows how to utilize the Switch’s resources.
Re: Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom Was One Of Twitch's "Most Watched" Games In May

Is the eshop for 2ds/3ds shut down in Asia? If so, those 36 new 2DS owners are in for a shock.

The Twilight mirror is my favorite and Link has been rocking that for
Pat of the game.
Re: Talking Point: Which Version Of Zelda: Link's Awakening Is Your Favourite?
The art style of the remake is gorgeous. I love the DX version, but Toy Link takes the top spot
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (June 3rd)

So it would be a silent movie?
Re: Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom Is Now The "Highest Rated Game Of All Time" On OpenCritic
I wasn’t the biggest fan of BotW, but am currently playing Tears. I’m glad there is a better story so far. It’s still too early to judge the rest.
Also, Last of Us is highly overrated on that list.

I finished the game a week ago, I didn’t run into weird glitches or bugs.
