It loses some of its charm, it needs the cell shading animated look. That said, the level of detail in the video is amazing. I really want WW HD on switch, the music alone is my favorite in the series.

I’ve got Great Ace Attorney arriving tomorrow. It will be my first Ace game, so can’t wait to play.

My first impression is that will not do well. It seems to me, PC gamers have different expectations of what kind of experience they want and this seems to be too niche.

I play exclusively so the better screen isn’t that exciting. I do like the white color of the joy-cons though.

“New Breath of the Wild” is a very Nintendo title, they should go with that.

I am cautiously optimistic. On my wish list is a Metroid 2D collection and Zelda WW or TP release. I am expecting Prime Trilogy next year, I think.

Hmm $14.99 on the eshop or included as part of Apple Arcade. That’s a no-brainer.

64 and Sunshine really should have gotten a full remake.

Do Rogue-like’s count as MetroidVania’s? Seems they are two different styles.

I’m sure Nintendo isn’t the easiest to work worth compared to Sony or MS, but this sounds a little bit like “sour grapes”.

I get that there is a myriad of legal issues, licensing, etc but I wish the industry as a whole could devise a solution to allow access to old games. Far too much stuff is almost impossible to get legally. They, the industry, should be more active in the games preservation initiative.

@ferryb001 I actually preferred the Playstaion version. Some of the brushstroke motions were very difficult to do with the Wii remote.

@Spoony_Tech not only that, the Wii U name was a bad idea which made the messaging very confusing. It made it sound like an add-on for the Wii.

@NintendoFan4Lyf I agree. I watched a speed run of Wind Waker and the runner said he has been playing the game almost non-stop for a year. I could never do that.

The visuals looks amazing. They remind me of the pop-up book style of the Bravely series.

I’d like to have known more about how this teacher is utilizing Labo, such as how many Switch consoles he’s using and the number of kits he or the school bought. Lot of credit to the teacher for trying something new.

I have zero interest in paying for a Nintendo online service, especially sine they are still planning on relying on the smartphone app. I really hope classic games are available in another manner.

Nier was my GOTY last year. It deserves to have more people play it. The soundtrack alone is incredible.

Now if Nintendo could do something about eshop, it’s still a pain to browse for games.

@Al_Godoy I’m with you on that. Smash is fun and all, but fighting games aren’t my thing. I was hoping for something more from the direct.

@The_Pixel_King a new 2d Zelda would be an amazing announcement. I suspect there will some Zelda announcement, like a Twilight Princess or Wind Waker HD port.
