@imadeanaccount Lack of story and difficulty. Started on normal (but later on was not much better on casual) was dying frequently, losing a lot of progress, althogh went for weakness and criticals. MP depleting quickly. Before boss I had to grind, but not enough mobs to grind on and no variety. Not enough side quests. Still boss was fun.
Before this I completed FE Engage so I am really resistent to design errors, but this game was too much.

After giving up on SMTV I started 2 games: Portal 1 and Pikmin 3. In Portal I’m in the 16th chamber. The game reminds me on the shrines of BotW and TotK. In Pikmin 3 I’m in the 4th area of the story mode. Playing these and Picross. Taking a break from Theatrhythm, I have my fill on that for now and my joints hurt badly on higher difficulties.

I keep trying, but somehow cannot get into Shin Megami Tensei V. Might drop it, there are so many good games to play instead of suffering with this. Besides the usual Theatrhythm, going for the last 3 stars and last achievement. And Another Code DS, in the 6th chapter, so it can end any minute now. What an amazing little machine the DS was!

During the week I finished FE Engage. Today I finished Zelda the Minish Cap, was already in the last dungeon, and played some Theathrythm, filling critical charts. Already put in the cartridge of Shin Megami Tensei V. Played a few hours when it was new, but I decided to restart.

It seems full normality will “never” come back to my family, but at least now I can find time and place to rest and play. I’ll try to focus on one game until I finish: FE Engage, starting chapter 21.

@Teksetter My condolences. I was thinking on you during the week.

My real world problems haven’t solved yet, so no games with time commitment. A bit of Picross and Vampire Survivors. Maybe continue Another Code DS which I started some weeks ago but set aside.

I never sell and rarely buy. I bought last year my 1st used cartridge, as the game was not sold as new anymore, and it was the 1st time I got the error message Switch cannot read the cartridge. What are people doing with it?

@Poodlestargenerica This is great news for me, because this means the next “Switch” will be portable too. My only option to play has been portable for quite some years now.

Nothing this week. My mother came back from hospital bedridden, probably forever, my life is upside down, no clue how to solve this problem on longer term. No real support for this situation in my country.

My main game is Fire Emblem Engage, in chapter 17. Story starting to be interesting, just in time.
Still not finished Zelda the Minish Cap, probably will not this weekend.
Today I was moving my old games to another place in the room and realized I have Another Code for DS, didn’t even remember! Maybe giving it a try, and I’m curious how far I got back then.
And the usual Picross and Theatrhythm.

@-wc- I bought it at launch, but played it only some years ago. As I could play only in single player, I suspect lot of the fun was lost, and the whole game felt like a chore.

Ghost Trick 10/10 is not on the list, but also on sale.

@JohnnyMind You are finishing a lot of games at the same time. I wonder will you pick up that many for the next year too or stick to the unfinished rest now.

Playing Fire Emblem Engage, in chapter 12. In the first few chapters I was on the fence, but now I’m completely hooked, this is an amazing game.
Not much left from Zelda the Minish Cap, should finish soon to not lose momentum.
Also playing some Picross and Theatrhythm.

Finally started Fire Emblem Engage, I’m in chapter 5, I will play this mostly this weekend and during the holidays. I also plan to progress with Zelda the Minish Cap, already in the clouds, and play some Picross and Theatrhythm.

This was a great year, ToTK, Pikmin 4, Theatrythm, Xenoblade 3 DLC, Paranormasight all 10/10 for me, but also enjoyed both Mario games. FE Engage is still in backlog.

After the Thursday’s funeral of my best friend yesterday my mother got to hospial, so neither mood nor time to play big games. So some Picross and Tetris 99.
To tell something more cheerful, during the week I downloaded the latest patch to Sonic Frontiers, and so I could complete the DLC boss rush and final boss. I recommend to everyone who was struggeling.

Pikmin 4. Got 100% in all areas, finished a certain tale, now doing what comes thereafter.
After Pikmin going back to Zelda the Minish Cap.
And meanwhile a bit of Suika game, Picross, Theatrythm.

@kennycottam I haven’t started 3 yet, first I’ll finish 4 and I’ll take a break before starting 3. But my friend who recommended 4 is sure I’ll love 3 too.

Pikmin 4. Got 100% on the 1st 4 areas, now doing what comes next and failing badly.
This is my first Pikmin game, and I like it so much that I bought Pikmin 3. I wonder if 1-2 are worth it after 3-4.
And a bit of Tetris 99, Picross, Theathrythm.

Finished Super Mario RPG during the week. It was shorter than I expected, but so relaxing. And now I know what was the starting point of all the fantastic M&L and Paper Mario games. After that I started Pikmin 4. Now I’m on the 2nd area. Trying to collect as much as possible before progressing. What a beautiful game! Zelda the Minish Cap (NSO) will have to wait a bit more.

Finished 13 Sentinels during the week, and gave up on the last level in Mario Wonder. As a fresh start I played Zelda the Minish Cap (NSO) up to the 2nd dungeon, but now this has to wait a bit, till I play through Super Mario RPG, where I’ve just got the 2nd star.

I was hoping for Mario and Rabbids Sparks of Hope with DLC going down to 30 euros, but it’s 40. Still considering.

Mario Wonder: my colleague did Climb to the beat for me on his 1st try! So now I’m going for the rest.

13 Sentinels: I’m at 85% of the story, let’s see if I can finish before Mario RPG arrives.

I’m very frustrated with Mario Wonder. Having everything collected everywhere else, but still missing the 1st seed in Climb to the beat, after spending 6-7 hours trying. A colleague promised to do it for me next week, so I’ll try to restrain from it this weekend.

Last Sunday I started 13 Sentinels. It has a quite depressive story, but I enjoy both the VN and the strategy part. I’m planning to finish it before Mario RPG.

And progressing slowly towards the last few big stars in the records in Theatrhythm.

1 Switch is already heavy enough to hold in hand, the double weight would be awful.

@jon128 I will keep trying, because this game seems to be absolutely 100%-able despite of this ***** level. Someone already pulled me through the last part, but I did not reach the seed in time. Mario Wonder, trying for 100%, but seriously stuck on Climb to the beat, still missing the 1st seed. Obviously cannot do it on my own, so waiting for my luck in multiplayer. My whole weekend might be dedicated to this single level. I don’t like this game so much anymore.

@Hero-of-WiiU I used Y+B, but now I tried B+A, it’s much better for my thumb. Thank you for the suggestion!

Mario Wonder on a rainy 3-days weekend

Someone please give me advice. Front mission 3 was one of my favourite games on PS. Is this one anywhere near to that in quality?

Nothing new till Mario Wonder.
This morning I finished the DLC case of AA: Spirit of Justice, this ends my 110 hours journey through the 2nd trilogy.
I will progress towards the 99th achievement and big stars in the records in Theatrhythm.
Also, playing some single player stages in Splatoon 2. Cannot much as it makes my aiming thumb hurt badly
Probably some Diablo II and Fire Emblem on NSO GBA.

What is sure: playing Theatrhythm, on the way to the 97th achievement. And AA: Spirit of Justice, on case 5, trial day2.
What I should play, but I feel too tired for them: Sonic Frontiers DLC, 1 more chaos emerald missing, so must be close to the end (playing on easy since the snake trial), and Splatoon 2 single player continue with sector 3.

I played the 1st game. It was sooo boring, but at least didn’t last too long. Maybe I am too old for this, and I never felt this for any other game. My advice: think twice before buying.

I’ve just finished AI Somnium Files nirvanA Initiative.
For the rest of the weekend it will be Splatoon 2 single player. Probably I will mix in some Diablo II, Theatrhythm and AA: Spirit of Justice.

I was a big AW fan back in the GBA times, but Wargroove 1 is still waiting in the backlog for me.

Still in my 3DS backlog.

@jolteon23 I’m not sure you asked about the 1st or 2nd somnium files game. If the 1st, I absolutely recommend to pick up if you like visual novels even just a bit.

@jolteon23 I loved the 1st game. This 2nd one is a bit bland compared to it, but still hard to put down, and the story can pick up in the rest of game.

Last weekend I started AI Somnium files nirvanA Initiative, and I’ve just finished the left side of the flowchart. I’ll continue with the right this afternoon.
I borrowed Splatoon 2 from a friend to try out if this series is for me or not, will see.
Also progressing a bit with AA Spirit of Justice.

@Lizuka I don’t want to spoil others, so in short I am a bit after the 1st trial part.

Ha-ha, I bought all 3 full price from EU e-shop before closure, Europe hasn’t got any sale in the last years. What makes me sad is that I missed the DLC for Dual Destinies, it was not available (anyone knows why?). Anyway I am at the 5th case of SoJ, and enjoying much.

I will rather dig up my GBA copy, no way I am paying more than 20 euros for this. Although I loved this game.
