Sometimes I wish Disney would just buy Nintendo.

I own a Wii U and love it, but I think its a smart move to end it and get on with a new console that is marketed better and resolves the glaring issues the Wii U had, namely make it more powerful, less gimmicky, and more accessible to third party developers.

I am still disappointed that the graphics are so subpar. Do you guys think 6 months is enough to improve the graphics by much?

Why do they need a "new idea" to make an F-Zero game???
It's a racer! Just build new courses and update the graphics and sell sell sell!

Now all they need to do is improve those graphics and everything will be great!

Capcom should team up with a major publisher (like Sega is teaming up with Sony to release Shenmue 3) and make this happen!

I really really really hope they upgrade Star Fox Zero before it releases!
I've been waiting for a new SF game for years and I'll be very disappointed if the final version features those subpar graphics...

I was wondering the same thing.
"Super Mario Maker" always looked like a US$39.99 game, like "Toad Treasure Tracker", but the way Nintendo has been promoting the game (taking up a big chunk of the E3 Digital Event) it seems they are pushing it as a must have triple AAA title (which it is not).
Like you said, its basically an app. A well polished app, but an app nonetheless...

Amiibo marks the end of Nintendo as we know them. They'll continue making money thanks to amiibo, but they fundamentally changed the company for the worse.

Nintendo purposefully destroying amiibo to artificially raise the prices.

Every day that passes I become more convinced that Nintendo should just abandon hardware and go full on third-party software developer.
I know it's considered blasphemy to speak of such things in a Nintendo website, but I just wish for more people to be able to experience the Nintendo magic!

I am still disappointed and that will not change for sometime.

• No new AAA titles (StarFox looks meh)
• No new VC titles (no new N64/GC/Wii games)
• No Mario Kart DLC (where is the battle arena update???)
• Waaaaaaaay too much focus on amiibo
  Not only that, but this PR blitz the suits at Nintendo are going through to make it seem like everything is ok is just not cool...not cool at all...

I am a huge StarFox fan from the N64 days and I have to say I am very disappointed from what I saw yesterday. With the release date so close, I was expecting this game to look exceptional at this point.
Also With Miyamoto-san involved (sort of his pet project in a way), I had very high expectations for the game. Maybe not a complete revolution in the StarFox formula, but definitely something worthwhile. Unfortunately that is not what I'm seeing so far...
I would rather they delay the game another six months (June 2016) and deliver something promising than to deliver a half-baked eshop type title.
The StarFox series deserves better!

• Basically the Wii U will be dead after 2015
• Lame "Metroid" and "Animal Crossing" games
  No "New" games
• Waaaaay too much attention given to Mario Maker...

Never played the first 2 games, but would be interested in trying number 3 if it came out on the Wii U.

Maybe Nintendo can raise the bar on the quality of mobile games, just as they did with console games back in the day...

It's gotten to a point where I've wanted new Megaman games so much that I've just become tired. I think if Capcom actually delivered a new Megaman game I would be disappointed just because of excessive anticipation and expectations.

Amiibo are worth the price if you buy them in order to have the figure, not for the extra in-game features.
