Just noticed on the Amazon pre-order page that this Fire Emblem book has a softcover (just like the original Japanese one). Was really hoping it would be hardcover, but hey, I'll take what I can get hehe

Kind of dissappointed that this will be "the last" Super Smash direct...
Probably means we won't get as many extra characters/levels as we were hoping for. I highly doubt they will announce more than 3 or 4 characters in one Direct presentation...

I still think that sadly it's only a matter of time before Nintendo becomes a third party developer like Sega. It will all depend on the success/failure of the NX...

Thats exactly what I feel! These past few releases have mostly been games with recycled assets that hardly offer anything fresh or exciting. I feel Nintendo had a huge end of year/begining of year gap that they only noticed very late and decided to put together a few easy to make games just to hold people over until the NX. I've never seen such low quality games from Nintendo being released in a row...

Let's just say it like it is: The Wii U is dead.
The NX will probably be a straming/download only console with no disc-drive, so they won't depend on retailers anymore...

I hope Nintendo keeps adding even more stuff to Mario Maker. The impressive sales of the certainly warrant it!

Sounds like an amazing game, but I'll get it later! Still have a bit of a back log of Wii U (and VC games) to play!

Still having a hard time with the controls, but I like what I've seen so far and I'm starting to get the hang of it!

I'm just happy I finally got Splatoon for the super cheap price of $25 bucks at Wal-Mart!

Just finished playing about 2 hours of Konami Racers and I have to say the game is even better than I remember it!
Tight controls, good graphics for a 2001 GBA game, and a lot of fan service!
Wish Konami had taken the series further and developed a home console racer game...

Konami Krazy Racers FINALLY!
I've been waiting for this game on the VC for years!
I know there are better kart games out there, but the nostalgia factor for me (first game I got on my GBA along with Super Mario Advance) is too much!
Plus, for any old school Konami fans, this is a neat little package.

Brett Ratner is an ok filmmaker. I do not like him personally (can't stand watching his interviews and behind-the-scenes stuff, he acts like a 12 year old spoiled brat) and his movies aren't masterpieces by any means, but he does know how to make entertaining movies. I figure a biopic based on Tetris would need all the entertainment punch it could get!

I was thinking of getting Mario Tennis, but after the underwhelming reviews I've been reading, I'll pass.

I'll only eventually buy it if there is some free DLC with extra modes/characters and if the price drops to a fair price range (US$29.99). -_-

I remember when Bubsy came out back in the day. There was advertisement everywhere for this game! But I bravely resisted, and apparently I made the right decision.

Truth is, Nintendo plays off our nostalgia and its fan base. Always has and always will. Nintendo always finds a way to "limit stock" of certain products (amiibo, Pokemon Trading Cards) and make things look "ultra rare" or "super special" (Earthbound games, limited edition products) to jack up the prices, and sadly Nintendo fans (such as myself) fall for it everytime and gobble it up!

This is just typical PR talk. Very bland and dry.
They don't want to commit and risk having to support another Wii U (failure), but they also want to leave their options open in case the NX becomes another Wii like success!

Really hope this eventually becomes DLC for the Wii U version...

I think Nintendo will announce Star Fox SNES for the Wii U Virtual Console during todays Nintendo Direct. It'll be a way of making up for the delay of Star Fox Zero.
(Hey, I can dream can't I? )

I'll skip this and get Xenoblade and Star Fox instead...
Plus, I still need to pick up Splatoon!

I played Spyro 1 & 2 to death back in the PS1 days, but usually when publishers feel they have to give a character some "tude" its because the franchise is sort of losing its touch and they have no idea what to do with it...
