Re: Dragon Quest Creator Yuji Horii Teases Announcement For "Next Game"

Mgalens

@abbyhitter
I absolutely loved that one too! i loved having a party of my own created heroes and the visible gear made me excited to reach a new town to see what new gear there was, i imagine i remake/remaster will also do similar to what some other RPGs do and have "fashion" slots so you can choose your outfit without worrying about stats (though there was something to be said about the tough choice between looking fabulous and being powerful)

@Tyranexx
yeah it feels like its happened a few times, a DQ game is announced, maybe theres some minimal footage, then theres silence for a good while then nearer release the floodgates open and suddenly were getting a tonne of info.

also would be cool with seeing the Zenethia games make their way to modern systems in some form as you mentioned (i really enjoyed my time with DQVI, it felt like there was a lot of freedom with it despite it taking a while to get going)

Re: Elementallis Brings A Touch Of Magic To GBA Zelda-Style Adventuring On Switch

Mgalens

@Yousef-
On the subject of zelda-likes it does make me curious what the liscencing situation is like with the original Alundra since that was a fave zelda-like of mine (other ones i remember loving were 3d Dot game heroes on ps3 and Okami, the former i would buy a remaster of on switch/2 in a heartbeat and the latter already being on it, and being a good way to play due to touchscreen being a good way to draw)

am curious to see how this one turns out but i do enjoy a good zelda-like

Re: Video: Here's How 'Final Fantasy VII Rebirth' Looks & Runs On Switch 2

Mgalens

@SplatRay001
"a solid way to play the game" is really what i was hoping for.

Theres definitely some ports out there across history i would say werent good ways to play a game, whether it be important aspects of its visual identity or even core gameplay aspects so as long as this still feels like a good way to play FFVII rebirth im cool with it and it does seem like its being compared favorably to other ways to play the game portably like steam deck.

Re: Hands On: Is Final Fantasy VII Rebirth's Switch 2 Port The Most Ambitious Yet?

Mgalens

I enjoyed the heck out of rebirth and would say its the most fun ive had with a single played FF in a long time, though i definitely recommend pacing yourself with side content especially if you are one to suffer from open world burn-out since there is a LOT of side content and stuff to find but also unlike remake, side content is saved across newgame+(or chapter select) playthroughs which includes sidequests AND open world stuff.

Also the game has what is called an "adaptive" difficulty option, and despite the description its not one of those ones where enemies get weaker if you die a bunch, instead what it does is scale enemy levels with yours, and while this may sound like it makes leveling and whatnot pointless you are still gaining the extra strength from leveling up materia and learning skills, so it doesn't make fighting pointless, what it DOES do however is mean that however you choose to pace yourself, whether it be doing a bunch of sidequests or not, you dont really feel over/underpowered, also it is good for replays since it means that replaying older chapters will still have enemies put up a fight.

Re: Final Fantasy XIV Online For Switch 2 Able To Reach "30fps In A Stable State"

Mgalens

@CJD87
Xenoblade does give a good idea of general MMO combat also with how characters have roles like "tank" and mechanics like aggro.

with this one difference between it and xenoblade is a bigger emphasis on boss mechanics and having to avoid attacks, not so much like an action game but more that you get indicators of where attacks are going to strike and the like, as you go on it introduces more complex boss mechanics and then theres also optional harder versions of bosses which require heavy knowlage of said fight.

The game does have a tutorial area you can visit which was updated with some of the common types of mechanics you can encounter and has more added once you reach a certain point so you can at least get a chance to learn more about the combat before you hit your first dungeon.

Re: Final Fantasy XIV Online For Switch 2 Able To Reach "30fps In A Stable State"

Mgalens

i imagine those "certain areas" would be places like Limsa during busy hours and large scale FATEs/areas such as eureka.

am hoping that things like dungeons, Trials and alliance raids can keep things stable.

most of my play-time was on ps4 (ps5 atm) and it seemed like while it hit 60 in some places, it was kind of all over the place, am curious how load times will be on switch 2.

@CJD87
its real-time with cooldowns on skills, theres quite a bit of movement in combat since you are avoiding aoes and moving around a lot for fight mechanics but the way it works means that its not really dependant on fast reaction times so 30 would be fine in combat as long as its stable and you can see what you are doing clearly since theres often a lot to keep track of.

Re: Bandai Namco Reveals Digimon Story Time Stranger Switch Performance And Resolution

Mgalens

@Solid_Python
From what i gather the upcoming Tales of Arise port also doesnt seem to have the options, im hoping im wrong since being an action rpg it would be nice to be able to play it that way since most of the Tales-of games are 60 in combat (though the switch remasters weren't which seemed to cause issues in things like tales of Graces since that version on switch apparently had noticable input lag) though i remember reading it was oddly going to be 60 in cutscenes and 30 in gameplay which feels odd since gameplay is the main area which benefits.

Re: It's Happening: Final Fantasy XIV Is Coming To Switch 2 This August

Mgalens

for existing uses it does seem like it would actually be a lot cheaper if it used NSO instead of its own sub, even with the 50% off which is unfortunate but good news overall for switch 2 users.

I played it on ps4 for a while and it seemed to run fine outside of areas where there were a lot of players so i have confidence that they will do well with this port.

@Bizzyb
would definitely be interested in playing XV again especially with some of the new stuff since launch, for me i think it was because there were aspects i really liked that it made the flaws more apparent, for example i was interested in the games world and wished i could have seen more of it, such as other towns and kingdoms (it made the game teasing you with that one town you got to see in the background but not explore sting all the more)

Re: Argonaut Games Appears To Bee Reviving A Forgotten N64 Title

Mgalens

@the9000
does make me wonder if a potential remaster like croc would allow you to toggle the fog since iirc turok let you choose between an improved draw distance and the iconic N64 pea-soup and croc let you choose between the original low-poly and the newer rounder look (also had toggles for things like enhanced lighting)

Re: Argonaut Games Appears To Bee Reviving A Forgotten N64 Title

Mgalens

@FXFletch
Usually 1 and 2 end up being mutually exclusive but if games like turok can have both then hopefully something like that can happen here, though given the choice i would go with 2 since it means the game can be kept, will have some optional QOL, and more systems will get the game meaning more people can be exposed to that theme song outside of places like youtube (the world needs to know!)

Re: Round Up: The Previews Are In For Yoshi And The Mysterious Book

Mgalens

Definitely sounds promising and am 100% looking forward to it. seems like it could be really unique.

my only concern is that with it being more focused on the discovery aspect rather than traditional platforming stuff is whether or not it will still be fun to replay after you've found everything but then that can be something which effects a lot of puzzle focused games, once you've solved them you cant re-solve them, i guess it depends on how fun moving around the game-world is.

looks charming as hell though.

Re: Review: Tales Of Berseria Remastered (Switch) - QoL Tweaks Make A Brilliant Game Even Better

Mgalens

@CherryPie
from what i gather the game runs worse than it did on previous systems (unsure about the japan only ps3 version though) unsure if it leads to input-lag like with the switch port of graces but it does make me wish there were switch-2 versions of these.

as for past Tales, im hoping that we end up with ports of some of the older 2d ones (like phantasia psp, Eternia, Destiny etc) since they hold up well enough and have a remaster of abyss (that one was a fave of mine) since that would be a dream scenario outside of the more out-their wish of seeing some of the unlocalized ones like rebirth and Destiny-DC

Re: Review: Ys Memoire: Revelations In Celceta (Switch) - A Simple Yet Fun Adventure

Mgalens

@Nep-Nep-Freak
The only times i remember some ys games have been censored was some of the PC ones (VI, felghana and Origin iirc) when coming to console had the blood removed when killing enemies, this one was originally released on a console so didn't have much in the way of violence anyway and in terms of other objectionable content the original vita one was tamer than the Trails games or Tokyo xanadu which have made it to switch unscathed (in terms of trails games i think sky 3rd had a scene changed on the japan-only psp and vita versions)

from what i gather a lot of changes to japanese games in japan ends up happening because of CERO ratings becoming more strict overtime, its why a certain character on persona 2 on psp was given sunglasses (a change which makes sense when seeing the character but also being a bizzare way of changing said character) though in some cases like FFXIV the cero rating was simply increased and no changes were made.

Re: It Sounds Like Peach's Mario Galaxy Movie Backstory Will Be Canon In Future Games

Mgalens

@Broch83
one of the things i enjoy about the kirby games is how they have a bunch of "lore" (backstories etc) but at the same time can be played without knowing any of it or having to worry about it (since they arent specifically story based games) but theres enough to reward players who dig deeper into them with details hidden away in flavour text and boss pause screens.

Re: "It's Truly Baffling" - Shigeru Miyamoto Comments On The Mario Galaxy Movie's Critical Reception

Mgalens

@MrGawain
The first part is often why its frustrating when you get people who talk about how certain fanbases "dont know what they want", when yeah, something which has been around for a long time is bound to have many interpretations and iterations that like you mentioned, will all be looking for something different from said franchise (see also, sonic, FF, etc)

(the following is not part of the reply but more in general)
As for the movie, while i havent seen it yet it does feel like a lot of the criticism ive seen seems to mirror a bunch of the stuff people were critical of the first movie of while the praise also seems similar with things such as the animation and the series easter eggs.

also when it comes to reviews theres also a big responsibility on the reader/listener of said review to take into account on what was said rather than put emphasis on the score, to see if it sounds like something you personally would enjoy, to weigh up the criticisms and how much they sound like they would personally bother you or whether the aspects which are praised are something which are appealing to you.

Re: Argonaut Games Appears To Bee Reviving A Forgotten N64 Title

Mgalens

@EarthboundBenjy
Does make me curious what happened to the GBC release of croc that was teased a while back, i assume the digital version was PC only or something, but yeah, would buy the games in that theoretical bundle you mentioned.

As for buck im definitely curious to see what they do, i imagine there may be the option for increased draw distance like the Turok remaster did, (having the option for those who want that nostalgic N64 fog) and i assume there will be a more modern control scheme option, i didnt play the original so dont know the controls but assume there will be aspects which are very of its time (i did like that croc had the tank controls mapped to the D-pad rather than having to switch like the tomb raider trilogy and some jumps i still find easier with it, like the last room of 3-5)

Re: Review: Ys Memoire: Revelations In Celceta (Switch) - A Simple Yet Fun Adventure

Mgalens

@Keegsy
Heck yeah i would definitely not say no to a seven port, loved that back on psp.

Played this one on vita and enjoyed it also, its a more relaxed game than seven especially since its possible to stockpile healing items but theres also a greater emphasis on exploration, i think this was the first one to have rewards based on map completion though it doesnt have it on a per-area basis so there is a chance that you can be looking all over for where that 1% is since the games overworld is pretty big.

overall though i would say a fantastic Ys game, if you enjoyed seven it will feel familiar only as-mentioned more of an emphasis on exploration.

but yeah am also curious to see what the future holds for falcoms classic catalogue on switch, am hoping that one day cold steel 1 and 2 would end up making their way in the west since if sky 3rd ends up remade it would mean the entire saga would be playable on the system.

Re: Mailbox: The Wii U's Legacy, Mii Singing, Hippos - Nintendo Life Letters

Mgalens

@rvcolem1
starfox zero did feel like something which could potentially be reworked to play on one screen (iirc wasnt there a way to swap the display so you could play it on a single screen technically)

i also definitely wouldnt say no to yoshis woolly world, i enjoyed crafted world and the new game does look interesting if going for a seemingly more relaxed pace but out of the arts-and-crafts yoshi games woolly world does have a special place for me and i think a large amount of that is due to the music.

Re: Feature: "A Huge Balancing Act" - Playtonic Spills The Beans On Yooka-Replaylee's Massive Switch 2 Update

Mgalens

@JohnnyMind @Sonicka
Its one of the reasons why i always like it when we get things like these interviews or stuff like dev-blogs and other communication with fans since aside from being good for into it also helps shed the image of the "faceless company", i know that companies technically do have "faces", many changing overtime but theres a reason why something like Sakurai's directs hit different from your average Nintendo direct and its due to the more personal touch, it also helps that there were those videos on his youtube channel where he enthusiastically spoke about the process.

Re: PSA: Xenoblade Chronicles X Now Available Physically For Switch 2

Mgalens

@Itsashame
1 and X have a very different structure with 1 having a more focused linear story with plenty of sidequests you can do for rewards such as exp, money and items, the areas are large but you visit them in story order, wheres X is more open-world in that you have a large world to explore without much in the way of restrictions or story-gating and the main story quest is a relatively small part with much of your time being on side quests and character specific chapters.

both have similar combat which is similar to MMO combat with skills on cooldowns though its more focused on character build and skill choices than boss mechanics or AOE dodging, with X having a main character who can use multiple weapons tied to jobs which you can level up.

i would say that Xenoblade 1 would give you a better idea of what the other games are about since it is closer to 2 and 3 in terms of structure but i really did love my time with X and exploring the games world was super fun.

Re: Xbox Is Reportedly Having "Very Big Discussions" About Exclusivity

Mgalens

@OrtadragoonX yeah honestly when i think of games from xbox i would love to see come to switch/2 my mind goes more to their older Xbox games, (aside from rare replay but that is also a collection of older games) TBH i wouldnt say no to something like the original fable trilogy or something (the games were massively over-hyped and didn't deliver on a lot of their extremely lofty promises but as games i found them fun enough)

To be fair i would probably say the same about a lot of Sonys first party offerings since i would take something like the Wild Arms games, The ape escape series, Older ratchet and clank/jak games or the gravity rush games over a lot of their newer games if i was to say which games i would love to see on nintendo systems but i can see how there was a large transition to playstation around xbox one's launch (the disastrous original plan and the mandatory kinect BS definitely did a lot of damage from the get-go, alongside all those acquisitions which ended up with not too much to show for it, or worse, lay-offs)

Re: "Are You High?" – Xbox Co-Creator Believes Whatever Nintendo Makes Next Is Far More Interesting Than Project Helix

Mgalens

@PlatinumTour
Honestly i would be cool with that, when a console is based around using a specific controller not only does it mean that you are SOL if you dont enjoy using said controller but also it means that for every game that makes good use of it you get several games where at best the use of it feels tacked-on and at worse the use of it ends up being a hindrance (such as games on ds and wiiu which would end up killing the game-flow by having you drop what you are doing to interact with the touch screen), i did feel like wiiu was untapped when it came to local multiplayer uses though.

with something like Labo, Ring-fit, Mario kart live etc, these were made with a specific idea in mind, and could go all out with their ideas because they didnt need to consider that their methods of control would need to work across multiple games.

For me i like the idea of a console and its games offering a choice of controls since it means that for most they will be able to choose the most comfortable way to play their games and for others it can literally be the difference between being able to play the game or not (there was an article on this site about a disabled gamer who had to go to great efforts, including modifying a controller just to be able to play mario galaxy, as much as the reputation was for nintendos games being "for everyone" it certainly didnt seem that way to some people, sadly i forgot where the article was)

as it is i feel like the switch's general concept is nigh-on perfect, the idea of being able to play how you choose which includes handheld or on the TV, even if the idea seems "boring" to some thats where the games come in, plus it doesnt rule out the idea of more experimental stuff like what you mentioned (labo and whatnot)

would be nice if mouse mode was supported a bit more though, but im hoping that the next Mario Maker at least supports it to make creating levels in tv/tabletop mode easier.

Re: Review: Pokémon Champions (Switch) – The Most Accessible & Flawed Competitive Pokémon Has Ever Been

Mgalens

@Araquanid
yeah definitely noticed this especially once you pass the pokeball tier, the stealth rock/mimikyu stuff especially.

Brought over a team from Z-A and have been okay with them at times but there are times where it can generally feel like a roll of the dice dependant on what pokemon is initially sent out, am curious to see if this kind of thing can be fixed with things like more pokemon but while i generally take note of things like EV's, hyper training and the like ive not really delved into the overall meta so dont know if that would fix it (i imagine it could certainly help)

but yeah as it is it once youve ranked up enough it does feel like its all the same pokemon.

Re: Pokémon Champions Bug-Squashing Update Is In The Works, Here's What's Being Targeted

Mgalens

@AlanShore
Mentioned it in the other comment but for me while theres nothing wrong with someone enjoying a game despite its issues or even not noticing its issues it does feel like whenever a game gets criticism for things like this theres always the comments that feel like they outright want to dismiss those critical as if it would negate their own enjoyment or something, (again look how many comments you often see in these kinds of articles calling people "Whiners" or "entitled" etc)

Heck im one of those who is having fun with the game and despite that, or maybe even because of that, im hoping the issues end up getting fixed and overall improvements made to it.

Re: Pokémon Champions Bug-Squashing Update Is In The Works, Here's What's Being Targeted

Mgalens

@Desa
Honestly like with a lot of things which get criticism on the internet while its fine to have people enjoying the games even with the issues it feels like there's a bigger problem where it feels like any form of criticism is dismissed as "whining" or being "entitled" or "just wanting to complain about something"

This is something which can show up in a lot of discussions sadly and while i get that there can also be times when things swing too far in the other direction (mainly in the form of clickbait youtube thumbnails and video titles especially around the switch 2 launch, or when things get really ugly and things like resorting to actually threatening people show up) it feels like genuine criticism will more often than not get lumped in and dismissed.

Re: "Feels Like A Fleshed Out Beta" - Fans Are Unhappy With Pokémon Champions At Launch

Mgalens

@Fizza
yeah, mentioned it in my prior post but a bad launch can definitely effect things going forward and while im hoping they can at least improve things quickly or at the very least be upfront and communicate with the userbase if theres a bad reputation at launch it can definitely haunt a game going forward, just look at how much it took for no-mans-sky ended up having to go through to redeem itself, and FFXIV pretty much had to be remade due to the disaster of 1.0's launch.

But yeah hoping they are able to sort this out since i do like the base idea of the game, having an app which is updated over time and could be updated to work with future games does on paper sound like a good way to future-proof the competitive scene but as it is its not a good look atm.

Re: Super Rare Announces 'Toree & Friends' Physical Switch Collection, Pre-Orders Open Next Week

Mgalens

@KayFiOS
looked up some of regina and mac and it definitely seems a lot rougher than some of the other games, looks especially abstract but not in a stylish way like the toree games do.

Did end up playing a couple of the other toree games, the second one was more of the same but fortunately that "same" was a fun 3d platformer with a decent flow, then tried toree saturn and holy-crap the presentation felt like they went above and beyond, the game itself was also fun, i enjoyed the physics though maybe would have enjoyed a few more unique stage gimmicks but overall was an absolute blast of a time, am hoping it gets a sequel expanding on its ideas since the bounce/roll ability along with the momentum it gave to jumps felt so good to use, soundtrack was also great

Re: "Feels Like A Fleshed Out Beta" - Fans Are Unhappy With Pokémon Champions At Launch

Mgalens

@ElkinFencer10
yeah its frustrating, especially since a bad launch can be difficult to bounce back from especially with a franchise which has had its fair share of technical issues and other such things, hoping at the very least they can respond to and fix some of the larger issues ASAP.

@roy130390
yeah would have liked some more customization options and as a whole it does feel like the game is, as you mentioned, in a basic state, does make me at least hope there will be a good amount of communication and a good roadmap for updates.

Re: Dragon Quest VII: Reimagined Has Received An Update For Switch 1 & 2 Today

Mgalens

@Zedecks
for me my main issue with the 3ds version of 8 was that one of the things i loved about the ps2 version so much was the games world which felt a lot more empty on 3ds with the super low draw distance even on large objects like trees, also the way things like colours were handled, it just didnt have the atmosphere of the ps2 one.

Re: Super Rare Announces 'Toree & Friends' Physical Switch Collection, Pre-Orders Open Next Week

Mgalens

@KayFiOS
loved lunastice, really need to get round to the toree games (played the first and enjoyed it)

out of these the others ive played was kiwi 64 which was simple but i enjoyed the movement and i assume the update with the extra stages and the time trial stuff will be included with this, also played macbat 64 which as a game itself i didnt enjoy nearly as much as kiwi but i did enjoy all the bizarre extras and secrets it had.

Re: Feature: "Stop Tagging Us About Bubsy!" - Fabraz On Being Bullied Into Reviving A Maligned Mascot

Mgalens

@mandlecreed
While i was around during that time i sadly(?) never got to play the original bubsy but from looking at it, yeah i could see how the level design and whatnot doesnt play well with the whole idea of going super fast, and unlike sonic where you had ways to defend yourself when going at high speed like pressing down to roll into a ball, with bubsy it seems like just running on the ground leaves you super vulnerable.

again this is only going by what ive seen of the first.

Re: Pokémon Legends: Z-A Is Getting Pokémon HOME Connectivity This Week

Mgalens

@UpsideDownRowlet
Im curious regarding HOME, how does it handle things like slight changes in stat mechanics from each game (iirc some of them handled things like effort values, or their equivelent, differently) i assume extra stats or things like Hyper training still carry over to Home right? (again havent used home much) especially with Champions using HOME as part of the competitive scene.

Re: Movie Review: The Super Mario Galaxy Movie - A Faithful But Overstuffed Sequel

Mgalens

@MysteryCupofJoe
yeah ,also from what ive read the original plans for sonic 2 (the game) were apparently even more ambitious and involved time travel though it does feel like some of those aspects were spread across other games, Sonic CD had time travel and 3K definitely felt like it ramped up the "dramatic" aspect with a bunch of set pieces, continuity between levels and pretty much everything from the last few zones, it may not have had dialogue but it was definitely telling a story.

Re: Round Up: The Reviews Are In For The Super Mario Galaxy Movie

Mgalens

the idea of "demographics" can be an odd thing

a lot of "adult" media for a good while seemed like it was aimed more at "teens", im not just talking about the average call of duty lobby but things like in the animation world "adult" for a while meant just filling something with "edgy" humor in an attempt to ape the success of south park or family guy (or later on rick and morty) and while nowadays you have stuff like Arcane and Invincible among others (also moving away from the idea of "adult" shows needing to be comedies) for a time it felt like if people wanted something well made in animation they had to turn to the Adventure times and Last airbenders of the animation world.

on the animated movie front things did fare better for a while largely because it feels like a lot of animated movies aim for a wider audience though the idea of loading animated movies with winks and nod for the parents has been going on for a good while, especially in dreamworks movies (likely due to the success of shrek) though averted largely even in dreamworks with things like the kung-fu panda franchise which felt like more of a love letter to martial arts movies in general or The last wish which was largely focused on its story/themes.

In the end it feels like the best way of appealing to people is just focus on making a good movie overall, a lot of the best "kids" movies can still be enjoyed by adults just through quality alone similarly to how in video games, the classic mario and sonic games for example are timeless because their gameplay is simple enough to be enjoyed by kids but the platforming mechanics/momentum/game-flow is good enough to be appreciated by adults.

apologies this was just a bit of a ramble on the ideas of "kids" and "adults" media, im not saying theres anything wrong with having a movie where you can just sit back and enjoy the ride, or media which exists for a specific niche.

Re: Video: Super Mario Bros. Wonder Side-By-Side Graphics Comparison (Switch & Switch 2)

Mgalens

@purple_shyguy
yeah i would have loved an 120fps "performance" mode since it would also be nice for handheld players where from what i hear the resolution bump isnt as noticable as on a big TV, plus while its far from the most intense platformer it would still be nice to show off the added responsiveness (though for me i would love to see 120fps in a 2d sonic game due to how fast the screen scrolls in those)

as it is for me personally i mainly play solo and in handheld so unsure how much of a benefit i would get out of this upgrade (again that's just me personally)

Re: Hands On: Pokémon Champions Promises Top-Tier Battling, But At What Cost?

Mgalens

@Pillowpants
yeah a reason why im torn in this is definitely the monetization, since on one hand i was hoping for a dedicated battling game to hopefully help with the increasing number of pokemon and it feels like it would be more convenient to have something like this which they can update over time with more pokemon rather than have to worry about whether each new mainline game will support the -mon you want.

on the other hand im REALLY hoping that theres not a bunch of scummy monetization practices and pay2win BS.

@metaphysician
just curious (and making sure im reading this right) regarding "treating home intergration as an aside" are you meaning more TPC doing that or the previews in general, since yeah i definitely am hoping for something thats focused more on the "extension of the games" side of things (again just making sure im interpreting things right) and am hoping that TPC hypes up that aspect.

Re: Multiple Switch Games Receive Switch 2 Compatibility Fixes

Mgalens

@Grackler
hope you enjoy it (unless youve already played FF12 and so know what you are in for), for me i was kind of mixed on it on ps2 but the improvements in the remaster really turned me around on it (such as having jobs you can use rather than every party member having the same skill choices) its also definitely more focused on the world itself than the characters in it and i enjoyed exploring.

Re: Opinion: Is Winds & Waves Just 'Pokémon: Tears Of The Kingdom'?

Mgalens

one thing i hope is that we get some improvements on a smaller scale too, things like interiors, for example there has to be a happy medium between the older games 'you can go in most buildings but most look the same inside' and scarlet and violets 'most buildings are simply set dressing' (there was actually, i felt sun and moon cut a good balance with this, a few unique interiors per town)

@JaxonH
i think i may be a bit behind on wi/wa news... is this active time battling implied to be like what Z-A did with its mmo like cooldown combat system since i did enjoy that and having the option of both sounds cool.
