I know you've gotten a lot of answers, but I would play the original first, then TTYD, then Super Paper Mario so long as you understand it's very different (while still good). I could honestly not recommend Sticker Star to anyone, it's a lifeless hollow of the other games, changing everything but the art style.

The Thousand-Year Door is my favourite game of all time. Paper Mario is in the top 10 or 5. Super was also quite good, though not nearly so good as the first 2. Sticker Star was so terribly disappointing. I really hope they see sense and go back to the original formula, which was SO solid. I would give up every other new release for years for a Paper Mario Wii U that went back to its roots. Also, don't give it to retro or anyone else, intelligent systems can do it right, they just need to try.

@MC808
what was advertised was a selection of levels to play for free, to give you an idea if what the game was, what was offered was 5 or so tutorial levels, each of which took about 20 seconds. that isn't a free-to-play/start title, that isn't even a demo. it was ridiculous, and the announcement trailer mislead me to how much was available to play for free

I was pretty annoyed that only the tutorial was free, that was like five minutes and it wasn't even fun. Not to say the game might not be great, but it seems like false advertising to me.
