just finished 999 for the first time, gonna replay VLR sometime before Time Dilemma.

Considering how good they were in Splatoon, I'm not worried about motion controls

I downloaded it but it didn't work. I open it, get a black screen for a few seconds, then get returned to my home screen. I tried re-installing, off and on, nothing works. The phone's a Samsung Note 2. Anyone know what I can do?

I don't get why 5 Miitomo plays is more coins than 10. Doesn't make sense.

I hope that's not real! Tiny screen and no face buttons OR triggers? That would be terrible. I doubt it's real. Plus, there's no visible branding, which seems unlikely for the real deal, so it's probably some other product being passed off.

Still one of the best game libraries, though GameCube is also great. Superstar Saga is my choice, though both Fire Emblems, Advance Wars, Aria of Sorrow, so many more, they're all great.

Still the best Nintendo handheld imo. 3DS is a strong second, though. Still got my black SP, and I use it fairly often.

Ugh, I don't want more stupid card battles. The old combat system was simple but engaging and great. TTYD is my favourite game of all time, this direction is so painful to watch

Star Fox Zero and Guard look good, Pokken is winning me over, and the Splatoon and Super Mario Maker updates are good. And there's finally SNES on 3DS, but I'm not getting a New, I'll wait for the next generation. Other than that, I didn't care about most of them, and the SMT/FE thing looks stupid, not Fire Emblem at all, and I don't like Atlus games. It's just the characters! And I'm crestfallen that the new Paper Mario looks more Sticker Star-esque than like the originals. Why can't you go back to that formula? It was so great!

Might be time for Rayman Legends. Never played Origins, though

Those mostly sound like reasonable requests. I don't care for any sports games, but I want Nintendo to do well so I can keep playing their games, and on their consoles. If Mass Effect Andromeda was on NX and as good as PC, I would certainly be tempted to go there for it.

Please be true IF it goes back to the original gameplay style. Super Paper Mario was okay, but Sticker Star was just bad. The original and TTYD are 2 of my favourite games of all time, so I'm excited and nervous!

Sounds good, since that scene sounds pretty offensive to me, but I don't understand what they mean by "there is no expression which might be considered as gay conversion." What the hell is that even supposed to mean? What is 'gay conversation?'

I just got Splatoon for Christmas, and it's awesome, but what are Splatfests all about? I've heard of them but don't know how they work.

I got Boxboy but didn't play it much. I'll give it another shot soon. Then I'll see about the sequel.

Fates, Paper Jam and Zero Time Dilemma! After a lackluster 2014 and 2015, 3DS is coming back in force!

I'm still annoyed Wii U will be so short, having just bought it a year ago and NX will probably be backwards compatible. Oh well. I do think the NX might not launch till 2017, they never said it would launch this year. A new Advance Wars would be a great way for Intelligent Systems to bookend a stellar 3DS lineup for late 2016 or early 2017. I'm pumped for Zero Escape Volume III, VLR was so awesome! That and Fire Emblem Fates and M&L Paper Jam Bros will gave my 3DS a workout next year. I just hope my Wii U gets some goodies too, other than Zelda.

Of course the New 3DS is better, but it's not giving me the incentive to upgrade to it, which is fine because I don't want it to have a lot of exclusive games, or any really. This seems like the DSi last gen, a step towards the next system, but I'd rather hold out a couple years for a big leap.

I just got Splatoon and quite like it so far, though I wish my brother could play online with me, not just in battle dojo. It seems to me like there's a lot of content, so I'm OK with them stopping next month. Playing a bit of the single player campaign I feel like they could make a fairly cool Splatoon platformer. If not that, then it might be nice to incorporate some of the single player features (like the sponges) into the main game to have more cool platforming in with the shooting.

I don't have any traditions but I'm playing a lot of Mario Kart 8, just got the DLC, and some Smash Wii U right now. Looking forward to playing those with the Nintendo Life community tomorrow and Wednesday. I'll probably get Splatoon for Christmas, so that should eat up some weeks. I'm trying to finish Earthbound and SteamWorld Heist, though Mario Kart is making it hard.

ugh the Canadian dollar is so bad right now, even with the discount this will cost me $24. stupid economics, messing with my gaming...

I'm going to get that special edition if I can. I've never gotten a special edition before, but Fire Emblem is one of my favourite series, and I really want a physical version of all three, or at least physical of the first two, I don't know if the third will be physical in that release.

Girls Like Robots is pretty weird, have it on PC. I really can't say if it's good or not, it's just really weird.

I liked what I saw at E3, though I admit the only Star Fox I played was Adventures and it doesn't really count. Looks like it'll be great, and I look forward to it!

OH MY GOD YES! Pikmin is one of my favourite franchises! Considering 3 didn't sell that well I figured it would be ages till we got a new one, if ever. But this is great! Wii U, NX, 3DS (surprised this wasn't mentioned as a possibility in the article), I don't care so long as it isn't smartphone. Best gaming news in a long while!

Surprised at all the negative comments here. "Just more 2D Mario..." well, you can think that if you want, but this sounds like an amazing game to me. "The levels will mostly be crap and clones" Yeah, of course lots will. But there'll be tens of thousands of levels, and the hundreds of great levels will rise above the rest and give players amazing experiences. Not to mention that it sounds like a lot of fun just to make my own levels. I think this will get many many hours from me for a long time.

I'd like a more interesting pose, but oh well. I hope this is true, I voted for him. An unlikely scenario, but it would be awesome if Nintendo got an exclusivity arrangement with Yacht Club. Shovel Knight feels so at home on Nintendo systems, it would make so much sense to have him as an exclusive.
