After this game I don't support Kickstarter anymore.

It's a shame that Majesco Entertainment went out of business last year. Man If SEGA or Majesco could re-release a Sega Genesis 3 with an HDMI port with some built in games, it world be miles better than anything that at-games can produce.

I have been a long time Nintendo and SEGA fan, my very first system was a Sega Genesis and been buying every Nintendo and Sega system since, but after the Sega era ended I felt that Nintendo is one of the few video game companies that truly understand how to make good games. Nintendo and SEGA have a deep history and I like that NintendoLife covers SEGA info every now and then.

What years is this 1993? Sega genesis vs Super Nintendo all over again lol 😄

My picks for a brand new Pokémon player in this day and age are these below

If you want to go a little bit old school but want better graphics get
Pokémon Fire Red / Leaf Green for the GBA
Or
Pokémon Heart Gold / Soal Silver on the DS

If you don't care about a classic experience just dive straight into Pokémon X&Y for the 3DS, X&Y is a good game for beginners.

Even for me going back to the original GameBoy games is hard to do. The original Pokémon red and Blue on the Gameboy have not aged well, and unless you have nostalgia for them I think it would be hard for a new player to get into them.

Pokémon Sun - Moon didn't keep my interest, me and my friends all ended up going back to playing X&Y and Ruby / Sapphire remakes.

So most likely I'll be skipping out on ultra Sun & Moon. ☀️ 🌙

I'm glad Nintendo has finally got their marketing campaign together, Splatoon 2 is really looking like the next killer app for the Nintendo Switch!

That's a very good point that you brought up. Since VR technology is so expensive, if arcades implemented VR tech it could possibly bring back arcades from obscurity.

It's getting so old hearing people complain about the Switch not being 4K. The base PS4 & Xbox One struggle at 1080p/60fps, which very few games actually achieve on those systems. The Nintendo Switch is very impressive for a hybrid system, people need to get there expectations together.

On another topic the jump to 4K is no where near as significant as the leap from Standard definition (SD 240/480) to high definition (HD 720/1080)

I am personally in no hurry to run out and buy a 4K TV, might get one in two or three years from now, but by then everyone is going to be crying about games running in 8k 🤷🏽‍♂️

Wonderful 101 is on my list of best Wii U games, I would double dip if it's at a budget price, but I would perfer a sequel.

Good stuff. Cartridge based systems have the best system life compared to the disc based systems. Disc readers are fragile and PS1, SEGA CD, SEGA Saturn games are now starting to get disc rotting. Cartridges are lasting the test of time.

I have been saying on here that ARMS is just average and not a system seller, but the extreme fan boys freak out and say I'm bashing, but I love Nintendo games I just think ARMS is not ready for prime time yet. Motion controls still not 100% accurate compared to button inputs sadly.

The Problem is mostly Nintendo not having there online service not fully available on the Nintendo Switch, and Ubisoft having to make a work around for it.

Completely agree man, I still enjoy Super Nintendo games to this day, the 16-bit color graphics have aged very well to this day.

Like what Memoryman3 said, Super Mario Kart feel slippery and out of control sometimes. It's a good game but I won't consider it the best.

@Shane76 I feel yeah, Halo has gone downhill so fast under 343 studios. There Halo games just don't feel right. Plus the new campaigns are so boring now, but Halo 5 was the worst ever.

@Si2k78 you are very right. I just don't want developers making excuses again like they did for the Wii U, and for them not to develop games on the Switch. If the Switch continues its sales momentum then Nintendo should be able to hold onto more third party developers.

If the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X become popular it will be a significant problem for the Switch, because more and more developeder will start making games for the Pro & 0ne X which has a larger graphical gape for the Nintendo Switch to fill compared to the Switch competing with the early Xbox One. Developers will start making excuses saying the Switch is to under powered for there games. For the Nintendo Switch to have a better future in it's life Xbox One X & PS4 Pro sales numbers need to be low than expected.

The Switch can compete with the Xbox One, but the One X is on a whole new level.

I am very excited about a new 2D style Metroid game. I actually prefer 2D Metroid games, even though the prime series is awesome in it's own right.

If you guys want the Monster Hunter series to last on the NS, I guess you all need to pay up and buy Monster Hunter XX.

Obisoft won E3 this year!

Just slightly disappointed, just because Nintendo was set of destroying the competition this year, but they kind of dropped the ball a bit. They could've killed it if they just showed at least a picture of Metroid prime 4 & Pokemon Switch, plus I was hoping for more Switch games announced. I think Nintendo really needs to stop focusing On the 3DS.

I know the flipping panels during the boss flight were so annoying 😑

This modern version of chemical plant looks great, but I didn't enjoy this level back when playing Sonic 2.

Kept dying on the moving platform on the third stage before the boss battle 😡

For this generation i'm currently running Xbox One and Switch, i'm also planning on getting a new gaming PC by the end of this year.

I'm also curious to see what Microsoft has in store for the Xbox Scorpio, If I'm not impressed I'll just be sticking with my Xbox One.
