No Way! It's a smoother and more polished version of the Wii U Smash Bros game. If Ultimate was completely made from the ground up in a new engine we wouldn't be receiving this game in 2018 more like in 2020.

Don't Lie Nintendo. Watch in 2019 or in 2020 their will be a Nintendo Life story that Ultimate was just a updated port of the Wii U version.

The Nintendo Switch e shop is a bare bones mess that needs more categories. The only good thing I can say about is that it’s fast and snappy. Seriously Nintendo needs to massively invest in its online infrastructure I feel that they are still behind the time when comes to online.

I will give this game a try, but it looks like Pokemon for casuals, also I’m not paying anymore than $30 for this game.

I don’t like being tide to a service just to play games that I enjoy. I buy games to own. Music & Movies are one thing but games are to special for me not to own or have control over.

Over all not a fan of the idea of cloud gaming.

@Darknyht The PS1 was cheaper and was out longer than the Nintendo 64, also casuals used the PS1 as a home CD player.

I'm a huge gamer and a bit of a collector of retro systems and I don't know of many people collecting for PS1 titles. Nintendo 64 has held up better than the PS1 for an early 3D gaming console.

Whats Crazy is that the N64 controller was a better controllers during that generation. The only controller that was just as good or better was the more rare SEGA Saturn 3D controller.

Also the first PS1 controller was a joke, SONY just copied the SNES controller and just added a shoulder grip.

Nintendo 64 also had harvest moon games as well. Never said that the Final Fantasy games are trash. In comparison the N64 is superior to the PS1 in every way unless your a huge RPG fan.

You should buy yourself a Nintendo 64 so you wont be so biased towards the system since you have never owned one. Get yourself some S-video cables for it or get an HDMI mod for a better N64 experience.

Agreed the N64 controller gets to much unneeded hate.

I believe the problem with the N64 controller was the fact that so many people didn't know how to hold it properly.

Unless your a big RPG fan the PS1 is junk compared to the N64. The N64 had the best first person shooters, racing games, and 3D platformers at the time, their even was RTS games on it.

A Nintendo 64 Classic Mini wont be that special without Rare Ware games included. No Killer Instinct, No Golden Eye, No Banjo is kinda a tough sell.

If it's true that their is no Single Player in this Call of Duty then this game will be in the discount cart next year just like what happened to Titan Fall 1. No value in multiplayer only games unless it gets supported for several years.

I would really to have the chance to play the Satellaview Super Mario Bros 2, since it's one of my favorite Mario games of all time.

Naka really needs to work with SEGA again and help Sonic to become great again!

Nice to hear the Nintendo is doing well on mobile and in home consoles. As long as Nintendo's main focus is Switch & 3DS then in happy.

I like Amiibo, but the only store around me that keeper them in stock was Toys R Us, and we all know that there going out of business. My Target and Bestbuy Amiibo selection has been anemic for over a year.

I will look into this game. I'm ok with Nintendo delaying the Virtual Console on Switch, I believe this massively helps Indie developers not competing with Nintendo Classics.

When I was more active on my 3DS I would pick VC games over indie games because I know it was a safe choice. I'm just not in a hurry for VC on Switch because I already have 4 or 5 ways of playing Super Mario Bros 2 in my home.

I think achievements in BOTW would be great, but what do I know I just own a Xbox One, PS4, Switch and a plethora of classic systems so I'm the weirdo around here.

I have been viewing Nintendo Life for several years now and every time achievements and trophies are brought up the Nintendo fanboys cry that achievements suck and are pointless, but in reality they are just envious and confused to why Nintendo doesn't have a similar system.
