Pokémon Go doesn't need new Pokémon, it needs the features that were advertised when the game was launched like, treating, individual battling. This game is still to hollow.
Same here man I was thinking my store would only get like 15 or 30 units max, but shockingly we got over 60 systems. Nintendo wasn't lying that they were making more systems this time around.
Pokemon Golden and Silver were not only the best Pokemon games but one of the best Gameboy games of all time, next to Super Mario Land 2 six golden coins!
The only complaints that I have with the Nintendo retro consoles are that the NES Mini and SNES Mini both don't have a cartridge slot to play our original game carts. Second is just the massive scarcity of these systems.
But other than that the SNES mini looks fantastic!
Looks like the Nintendo Life community has spoken, they would rather have games like Chicken Shoot on the Switch, then AAA third party games like Doom.
People we are getting a AAA, current gen, third-party game on our Nintendo Switch and all I see on here is a bunch of babies crying about the lack of motion controls. Give me a break!
l guess most people here on Nintendo Life want to relive the Wii U days I guess.
I agree with you blueocean that Wii Resident Evil and Metroid Prime are great examples of good motion controls, but these shooters you mentioned are slower paced compared to games like Call of Duty and Doom.
Motion controls work better on slower shooters. I'm not completely trashing motion controls I just don't feel that they are 100% without faults compared to just using dual sticks.
Gyro controls are so slow for a game like Doom. I have a hard time understanding way Nintendo fans love motion controls. I find motion controls to still be inferior to standard controls to this day, even with recent improvements in technology.
I'm not against people having streaming applications and other programs on the Nintendo switch, but I have a theory that since these programs are not on the switch this is driving more third parties games to be noticed on the E shop and push sales, because games are our only form of entertainment on the Nintendo Switch.
I feel that having no Netflix on the switch for at least it's early months was probably a smart idea from Nintendo.
I hope Toy's R Us can stay in business, they are the best store for getting new gaming systems since they don't feed scalpers because they have a one item per person policy.
I got my Gameboy, Gameboy Color, Nintendo 64, and Wii from Toy's R Us back in the day. I do admit that I buy most of my games on Amazon now, which I now feel ashamed for.
To me a developer being anti or against a game console would be for them to completely ignore it.
Capcom has released Ultra Street fighter II, and is releasing resident evil revelations 1&2, and monster Hunter on Switch.
I am with you guys that there isn't much of an excuse for them not releasing the MegaMan legacy collection 2 on 3DS and Switch, and the lack of HD Okami is also disappointing.
I personally think Capcom is just lazy and that these games were already in development for PS4 and Xbox one, and they don't want to spend additional resources on last minute Switch development at the moment.
Capcom did say that they were surprised by the positive sales of Ultra Street Fighter II, So I believe in a year things will change and we will be getting more games from Capcom soon.

Re: Digital Foundry Does a Deep Dive on the Super NES Classic / SNES Mini Emulation
From my experience the emulation is pretty darn spot on with the SNES Classic, my only complaint is that the audio is just a little off from perfect.
Overall I am very happy with my purchase.

Re: Ninja Shodown Throws A Shuriken At Switch eShop Soon

Re: Ultra Street Fighter II Had A Better UK Debut Than Marvel Vs. Capcom: Infinite
This game looks horrible, Marvel vs Capcom 1 & 2 look miles better than Infinite. The 2D sprites fit so much better than 3D characters animation.

What happened to the Sonic's original creator and director Yugi Naka?
Because Takashi Iizuka doesn't seem like he know what he's doing, he should possibly step down from his position from Sonic Team.
