Isn’t MW3 just a dlc?? Seriously. The campaign is super short then guess what, it’s a multiplayer with different maps. When something becomes a yearly release, to me that’s a dlc, nothing new.
I played Totk and SMW. I feel somehow that BG3 may be the winner in this since it is on multiple consoles. I hear so much swell for it. I liked Totk but somehow couldn’t see Mario as a contender. It’s just something there that doesn’t strike it.
The ending was good with what they did with Zelda. The boss fight was…kinda easy like the 4 Sage Bosses. The look was good but Ganon was sooo slow. Lynels and Gleeoks were much tougher battles.
I remember getting the SNES all stars for my birthday the year it came out. I think it was the last game I purchased for the SNES at that time as well. I only rented games after that point for the system. I enjoyed the challenge of the Lost levels and did a complete run of it. The save state QoL was much needed and kept me engaged.
Think the last time I bought anything from them was their recent Blowout sale at the beginning of the year. I missed out on a game I was wanting so I got another barely and two blind boxes. I still don’t know why I keep getting the blind box since it is usually something that is worth much less than what I paid for. I do like that they have the pre order window but man that wait is forever feeling. I only buy now if the title hits BestBuy. Still waiting on Contra Collection to surface there.
I do enjoy buying DVDs and Blu-ray’s once in a while for some reasons. 1). Having a young kid. The internet goes down and they want to watch their favorite show, boom got the disc. 2) Can rip the disc and put on a network drive for viewing wherever you want it to. 3). Streaming service are not always consistent in quality and will eventually drop shows due to licensing. Not a fix all but works for me in some cases.
Such a weird PR to have. ‘We made these handcrafted shoes that are only able to be seen in the ONLY USA Nintendo store for viewing….and they are not going to be available for sale.’ It’s like, Mario is now gone and here is the memorial.
$70 is not a surprise this day and age with all the amount of developers put on these games to make them triple AAA. RPGs in the 90s were this price or higher and had way less people on them with far less game play times. Not saying it’s ideal but it’s they way things are for big games especially without micro transactions to back it up. The ones that play their games digital only are the lucky ones since they can use vouchers to make it $50.
Only had it crash on me once further into the game. I get the frame rate drop from items in the distance. It is the same kid Arceus had and SMT V had. Honestly, it reminds me a lot of SMT V performance. Not trying to defend S/V as it did need more time to bake. Going the route of Disney trying to pump out 3 big titles in a year is not always the best move. It just comes down to Nintendo wanting a big title game out for the holidays since BotW 2 got pushed back. Otherwise that would of been it, just with much less sales.
This would be a move in a positive direction. The idea of loot boxes with odds are starting to see places like Europe crack down on them. Nintendo is just trying to buck that part a little and still have a store that will be able to use real money in it but you know what you get.
Advance Wars. Games that 3rd party already announced through other streams (Xbox/PS). More Mario movie info. BOTW 2 info. Pokémon games Games that were already announced last Direct but giving us a reminder they are out this fall.
They are wanting that big buyout like Activision got. Losing rights to FIFA hurt them and the workplace is mediocre. If they fell out and was gone, <shrug>.
Zelda always has a delay of some form. I think when they announce things too early is a problem player wise. Look at Prime 4, that is a literal running joke and the amount of wait will not recover that one as Metroid is usually not a extreme high seller, Dread excluded. The very early announcement was just for a stockholder speculation. If stocks did drop due to the delay, then that can make sense as they meant that for a possible Christmas hitter.
I accept delays as I bore of day one updates and super glitchy games that have to be patched constantly due to being rushed.
@blindsquarel If they ever bought anyone, it would be cheap. They don’t have money like Sony or Microsoft. Nintendos value is 50$-60$B. Compared to $3T and $150B.
I am optimistic since it does look like a new experience for the franchise. As long as it isn’t choppy through most of the game, I think I will survive. Not preordering for sure as Walmart is always cheaper at store and it’s not like they will under produce this.
Went with Triforce Heroes, Spirit Tracks and Phantom Hourglass. The two later I never actually beat because it was heavily rinse repeat and had to use the stylus to move everywhere. If a function is needed such as using a stylus or motion control gimmick, I think it is just a barrier for me to enjoy.
Zelda 2 getting a hard vote as it got?? Wow.
That game would be a top 5 good Zelda for me. The RPG elements was great. I could see the difficulty gripe with having lives but it wasn’t totally unfair. Just had to really learn it.
I am agreeing with some that the frame rate while wandering around could be better. Very twitchy around Leylines and when you move from side to side into another direction. That would be my only complaint.
This game was ok to play back when it came out. The draw of it was multiple characters being available. I put many hours into it and almost completed it but didn’t as it fatigued me. It is one of those “You must beat multiples times to complete 100%” games. The soundtrack was insanely good and I think I may still have the CD that came with it??
I would be more impressed if they did it as a proper Chrono double pack remaster and look good and not like a mobile game.
But as much as I played it before, I am good without it returning.
I feel just firing the CEO isn’t going to solve their internal issues at AB. You would need to remove other members of the company that had any part in the system of harassment.
Neat story how he got it but I am in the eh thought about it. The guy realized he could make money off of something then got fleeced by a rando auction house…(heritage auction perhaps?). I dunno, it’s like the person selling the Sony snes a year ago and got pissed it didn’t go for more because they got greedy and didn’t take the initial offers.
A new Mario RPG. Either ARPG or JRPG style. It could be done and allow for new IP characters. Paper Mario series does not fill that void. I like PM but it’s nothing like the SNES RPG version.
I loved the original when it came out in the arcade and SNES. I didn’t realize there was a demand for a new one. Must be due to the IP and license being so dirt cheap. It looks like a mobile game with the graphic style. If they had it where you could unlock the pixel style for game play similar to Wonder Boy, that would be neat. The Switch already has SNES and arcade versions available so no need to load those onto it. Price it at $14.99, that’s fair.
Looks like they wannabe StraightTalk? Check out their logo. Bet its the same Marketing Firm. Could of done something unique like PacMan at an end giving a thumbs up and not a speech bubble.
Looks like they brokered a deal with Interplay since these are European style games. I admit had played and own Claymates. The other two I never owned but remember seeing Bomboozal at rental stores all the time.
@BloodNinja I agree with that. The remake was ok. I go back to Metroid games often but that one is odd for me. Having to rely on timed defense movements always agitate me.
Reporting to EBay does nothing. If they lose those sales, they lose their higher percentage. It’s why all companies do not set up a captcha type system to stop bots.
Not a surprise with FF7. Most people already bought the one on PS4. Gettin the PS5 version is just for people who didn’t buy it and/or really want to have the PS5 version. I have the PS4 version and am ok with that.
