RIP Nintendo. You had one job to make a powerful console, and if the restriction is from some stupid gimmick I'm going to loose it..hopefully they at least got more third party support and figured out how to advertise better.

2016 is way early for me. The Wii U only came out like 3 years ago, it wouldn't even have a five year lifespan.

To me this just seems like a fanboy overreaction. Tbh I've only played the first NES Metroid(and are planning to buy the prime trioligy thing in the eshop), but does it really deserve all this hate? I mean weve barely seen any gameplay besides blast ball, and already petitions,70K dislikes,etc? You should atleast give it a chance.

@RainbowGazelle There is an age gate, you have to be 13 and older to have friends on miiverse lol.

@InklingSplat8 If there was an 18+ section of miiverse kids could easily find a way around it, like the way they play M rated games. Plus it would probably be full of M.A.D(basically rule something except less noticeable and done with Nintendo characters e.e).

Also Nintendo said them selves that the Wii u dual screen thing is kinda a fail. It's almost impossible to pay attention to both screens at the same time. At least we can turn the motion control s off so it won't be much of a problem.

Just make the NX powerful, maybe if they can,as a PC, get more third party studios and combine them with first party titles, and make the gimmicks and things add-ons.

I still don't really care for amiibo mostly because it's basically DLC and it locks features that could have been in the game. That plus, most of the content that you can get with them imo isn't really exciting. Like in yoshis yarn, cool, I can get a link skinned yoshi, but that's it? Plus even if they did do something really cool in the game, people would complain because they have to buy an almost impossible to find toy to unlock it.

Another thing that sucked about the Direct was that they didn't even mention club Nintendo closing down, and the new replacement we were supposed to get for it.

@MMaxwell83 Why dark and moody? I mean just look at Shadow the hedgehog or call of duty. Darkness and heavily detailed graphics don't equal a good game.

With Nintendo planning on talking about the NX next year, I'm kind of worried that in, or after 2016, the Wii U will basically be obsolete. I litteraly have only had this system for about a year, since I got it mid 2014. Kind of disappointing but then again, the NX could be like the PS4 or something, with us never having to worry about third party titles. Might as well start saving up now then ;-;

Am I the only one who wasn't that disappointed with Nintendo's presentation? Sure the amiibo thing sucked, along with the Metroid prime 3DS thing, but was it really that bad? We still got a release date for Xenoblade, Paper mario (which imo is one of the best RPG/platformer i've played) combined with the Mario and luigi RPG thing, Star fox U, a new online/local multiplayer Zelda, and Mario maker. The only downfall I'm seeing with it is that it didn't build a lot of hype like last year, and didn't have Devils third, no Zelda U, and an untraditional "Metroid" game.

@Yorumi Sequels aren't rehashes lol. Wonderful 101, Hyrule warriors, SSB4(added tons of new characters and stages)Mario 3D World? How are those rehashes? If any game on Wii u is a rehash its NSMBU.

Personally I'd rather get lego dimensions over sky landers, plus I'm kinda mad they screwed up spyro in the first game.

I really hope this isn't just a re-skin like NSMBU and NSMB2, i'm looking foward to getting this because of how good I heard the story was in the mystery dungeon game with pikachu and riolu.

I don't buy physical games anymore, because they can now easily brake with the slightest scratch. I litteraly only got SSB4 in December, and now it doesn't work anymore, and the disc looks perfectly fine. If you buy Digital, they can't brake. If Nintendo chooses not to allow digital games from the Wii U on the NX, i'd just keep my SD card on the Wii U.
